The app is still so un-intuitive, and is mostly hit-and-miss. Instead of concentrating on silly things (like "Cool" instead of "OK"), please work on the basics of user-interface design.

The worst experience I have ever had , taxis are not picking up the order when they received it , waiting for hours then I try to cancel since no one taking the order , it doesn't want to cancel so I can start ordering again , very weak , very unprofessional, very confusing , worst experience, just have normal taxis what to do , !

Some drivers are picking up other passengers even though you are paying the full charge of the trip. Very unprofessional drivers.

It just froze, until recently it was working well and when l updated it , it stopped being functional fix. It

I'm trying to register in my new phone but im not getting the code through sms. I did even try shutting off the phone and removing the sim card for 15 seconds but it still doesn't work. Please fix this

Soooo useful and easy! I am Iranian, we don't have visa/master cards, but easy to pay on cash! Lovely experience!

I've been trying to register the app for days, the code can't get through my messages,what seems to be wrong. I also tried reinstalling again and again.why

Everyday I booked otaxi going al mouj and the rate everyday increasing which is not fair! City centre to al mouj only 1.5 but most of the time I saw booking amount 2.09 omr !

Almost perfect Drivers are prompt, friendly and usually on time. Easy access around muscat No more haggling with drivers you pay whatever the app shows at the end of the trip which I think is fair and reasonable. Taxis are well maintained It needs improvement though regarding adding cards (always shows an error) All in all the app and the system is a great help to commuters and tourist alike. I haven't tried any taxi app yet so I can't compare.

It is the best way to travel within Muscat at any time of day or night. The drivers are very courteous and on time. However, a bit dissapointed with the latest app update. Previously while entering pick-up and drop, it used to show the approximate cost....that feature is not there in the latest update. Is it intentional??

I used to ride and trust Otaxi app,but today I experienced such a bad service from a driver here in Salalah. The car was so dirty,and the driver was keep on asking such inappropiate questions. I felt harrased verbally,and he was asking 4 rials for payment,but on the app it state only 3.360. 🙄😢 I wrote the review here since I cannot rate on the app.Before it used to ask feedback from the ride.but the new update doesnt have it anymore.

Fast response, comfortable rides, decent, neat and clean cars, great customer service. I wish if they have public or shared transportation option.

Hi, We payed by cash already. But after order its asking for the card payment. And I cannot go back to app home page!!! It's telling me to pay it again by card. What should I do for getting the app home page?????

Bad experience I have installed this twice but I am not getting request code to login into this app.

Worst app gets hung when u needed the most... it just open and say I don't have internet where I have both wifi and mobile data ..... Once u get booking it's best.. to get booking it's a worst..... I am posting his review which gets posted still your app says I don't have internet

I'm waiting for an hour and still no drive is assigned, though my destination is not that far. I changed my mind, I will never use this app anymore cause I relied on it but no drive came.

I have been trying to register on this app using my mobile number but I never get the request code. I tried everything I could multiple times.

SMS confirmation code never arrives, rendering app absolutely useless. Removing the SIM as suggested was not helpful.

Fares are higher. Quick service.

Easy to use, card payment option enabled, easy to get drivers as well. Good apps. Would recommend point reward system where users will be rewarded with points every time taking the ride. The points can be redeemed for discount. By doing this, more users will use otaxi.

Used this for my 5D4N stay in Muscat. ✅ Impressed with the GPS accuracy of driver-tracking, very smooth and consistent (on Omantel 4G network). ✅ Taxi fares on Otaxi are MUCH more fair/reasonable compared to random taxis on the roads. ✅ Based on my 10-12 rides, all drivers were friendly and followed the fixed fare as displayed in the app. ❗ ❗ ❗ User interface needs to be improved. The 'fixed cost' (i.e taxi fare) is displayed in fine print and ONLY prompts at the start of the booking, not seen at the end of the trip. Passengers have the most right to view the fare they need to pay to the driver, so at least make it clearer/easier to see. ❗❗ Not one driver displayed proper safety etiquette during trips. All of them were texting & driving the whole time, one guy even had TWO PHONES IN BOTH HANDS while steering with his knee 🙄 Might come as a worry to some international travellers. ❗ Credit/debit card payment system does not fully support all cards, so prepare to always pay up in cash.

I have used the application from the very beginning and the service has been amazing as always. What I like the most is the cleanliness of the taxi they are in very good condition which makes my travel a comfortable one. In this pandemic times I felt very safe by using your taxi as it followed the hygiene norms. Its a blessing means of travel for those who don't have a vehicle of their own. By far the best taxi app I hv come across in Oman. Keep going the Otaxi team👍

I was looking for a taxi to go to Airport while I was in Muscat for an official trip. I googled and tried OTaxi for first time. My experience was awesome, taxi reached to me in minutes and reached to the destination without any hassle. I wondered over such a taxi service is available in Muscat. Thanks for making my trip easier. Above all driver was very polite and friendly, the fare was reasonable. KUDOS 😊😊

It is great app which u can trust it, I would like to recommend something from the government to help this kind of apps to be easy access and change the transportation systems in Oman.. Good luck guys with this app. And i add the customer service was so there when needed, they respond so fast..
