It's ridiculous that you have to scan each item and "guess" which item MIGHT be. accepted. Unless this App includes an actual list of approved items, as the web does, it is frustrating and useless!!!!!!! OTC approved items are so random that you could spend hours scanning everything. If there were a list on this App you could use the scan as a backup just to scan for items that might have not been put on the list yet. But as it is, this app is not well thought out and is VERY FRUSTRATING

I hated this app at first because it simply did not work. But eventually the developers fixed it. It is now very reliable about scanning products in the drugstore to see if they qualify. I've never had it misidentify an item yet. It could stand some further tweaking in the user interface. But at least it works now. And to those who want to see the full list, just save the web page to a PDF file and put it on your phone.

So correct me if I'm wrong. You have to walk around the store and each item scanned randomly qualifies or does not. Considering that most items do not qualify, that's a lot of random pointless time spent guessing. It needs a generated list of items like the web version, sorted by three levels of refined screening.

I installed it on TWO DIFFERENT OS of Android phones (one running a very new version, one an older version) and it never went past the splash screen. I noticed I'm not the only one having that problem. Play Store didn't say it wouldn't work on the phone, like Play Store often does. Their online site works great 👍. What good is a program that doesn't work? REMOVE it or FIX THE PROBLEM! No acknowledgment of the problem from the staff! I tried again after MONTHS, STILL WON'T WORK!👎👎👎👎👎

The app only shows 4 stores, 3 of which don't exist in my area. The major retailers, Walmart and Walgreens aren't listed. It's annoying scanning multiple items to see if they're eligible, most of which are not. I have to use the website which defeats the purpose of the app. Not to mention I can't figure out the brand names and I was able to purchased items that weren't on the list. 🤷 With that said, the items I am able to purchase save me a great deal between vitamins, and allergy medication.

It's pretty straightforward, gives you your balance, let's you scan products to see if they are approved items or not and well that's about it. Make sure you have the scanner set to the correct store or it will reject everything. I wish the app had a link or something to the list of all the approved items. Yes, there is a list but you have to go hunt for it on the web.

When I scan the barcodes of items I am sure are allowed, as a test, the items are denied. The same thing happens when I key in the barcodes. I have reinstalled the app, re-registered my card and called in for help. My choices were to skip the scanning and simply use the card at the register, or to request a new card. The card was not usable at the register. Requested a new card and have finally received it. Tried 2nd card and it does not work. The issue must be in the app itself.

This app is great to check my balance and scan items to check eligibility. Viewing offers takes you out of the app to a web page and I'm not sure what selecting a retailer does, if nothing at all. For some reason, all my rewards are listed under "general". I wish it could show when my rewards expire. At this point I'm not sure how many rewards i have or when my first reward will expire.

I had no problems until the update. App works fine, however I use to be able to store all 8 of my children's cards in the app. Now that the update has taken place it only allows me to store 5 cards. In order to use the other 3 cards I have to DELETE 3 of the current cards to even see if there's a balance on the remaining cards. Extremely inconvenient since I don't have them memorized.

APP is minimal but still cumbersome to use. Can no longer check card balance even though description says it can be done. Scanner works well sometimes and then hardly works sometimes. some text on screen overlaps other text. Developers must have worked this up on an Etch-A-Sketch.

What a pain in the buttocks! It insists that you enter a card just to look. Then, when you get to the register, things that the app said were covered are not. If you needed the item your choice is pay full price, or go somewhere else. This whole thing is a fraud! The insurance company gets to claim they are "providing a benefit" that DOES NOT WORK! Time to contact my "up for re-election" congressman (and the MEDICARE FRAUD INVESTIGATORS)

The application used to work fine on my phone until the upgrade happened. Now it refuses to open and gives no explanation after I submitted several complaints regarding this problem, no one responded back. wondering if it was my cell with the problem, so I updated my phone, but to no avail. please fix!!!!! Additional review dated 3/12/18: in tryin to re installed and it's not installing!

This app used to be great. Now, it opens by asking me my card number and when I enter it, it tells me the card number is invalid despite me having used it before. The problem is that you need to enter the card number before you can use any of the other features like the scan item for eligibility feature. Essentially, the app is currently useless to me. Similarly useless is the help phone number on the back of Access card who, after several holds told me to call back.

I like the app and the benefit. I read other ratings and just thought how rediculous! We are getting free stuff to help us with our daily needs and people want to complain because they have to go into the store and go around and get what they want from the list! How lazy and unappreciative can you get!? Thank you for being a part of helping make our lives a little bit easier.

Installed the App and it was working when in the store. About 20 mins in it suddenly started to refresh...forever...I Uninstalled and reinstalled repeatedly and deleted and reactivated. Now it will never access ANY local stores. I called app help line and they can't fix it and did not call back with solution it has been stressssssful and a waste of time. The OTC network needs to find a company that provides an app that works and get rid of this company they are totally wasting money on !!!!

Really wish there was less than one star. New update doesn't work , just stays on logo screen (8 out of 10 times of app starting). old version was a hassle due to the constant verifications that I'm not a robot! Please Fix This App! It is very helpful on the few times it has worked.

The app on my phone does NOT work at all. the numbers are superimposed so I cannot see my OTC 15 balance. I cannot scroll to see if something qualifies on OTC monthly or the wellness program after I have scanned an item in the store. ( I cannot scroll to see the green checkmark.) I uninstalled APP and reinstalled it and re-added my Access number to no avail. I have Samsung S9 updated phone.

When I enter the "card" number, I put in both the numbers before and after the zeroes, and both do NOT work. I received a text with the barcode and numbers below it. Neither work. Real nice...NOT! I've been to both CVS and Dollar General, and they have NO idea how to complete NY transaction using the OTC barcode. Ridiculous already!

I've not used the card or app yet other than setting them up. I thought the app would list what items are eligible for us to purchase with the cards. The app seems semi worthless without it. Its great we can scan items but dang that sometimes puts us in the way of other shoppers and dear God its bad enough when ppl like me have to ride on one of those carts.people can be so rude as it is.plus if you have to depend on others for a ride like I do I wont have much time to shop like that

For John Marion and others - I haven't tried this application yet, but wanted you to know that you do NOT have to walk all over the store checking for items that are eligible. This card is only good for health-related items - vitamins, pain and cold meds, sanitary supplies, bandages and things in those categories. Also good for blood pressure monitors and blood sugar monitors and testing supplies. Also bathroom safety items. You cannot use it for shampoo, shaving cream, and most items in the store. Just concentrate on the actual health-related items. Take the stars I've given it with a grain of salt as I haven't used it yet. Staying home due to you know what.

The app doesn't not work on my phone either. I can't get pass the add card state without it crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled serval times. I ended up calling the service line for help but was told this was the first time they've heard of this problem. Seems I'm not the only one complaining so I know customer service is not telling me the truth.

Trying to scan for eligibility and it brings up the "select retailer" window, but it's completely blank. Makes the app useless since for some bizarre reason there isn't a readily available list of available items.

Cannot even get on app.. Customer service does not appear to have sufficient traing in how to fix issues with app or card. Reloaded app as instructed and message still pops up stating my number is invalid. And what is up with grocery store$ not rolling over. Social security informed me I put an over abundance in the system when I stopped working and these clowns want to keep my little $75 per month from a program that comes from government funds. $900per year for seniors

After 4 months still can't scan items @ any store! Useless app. Only good for balance. Seems developers could care less. For CareOregon, Safeway, Albertsons, & Fred Meyer all go thru, if you know what is acceptable like coffee, vegetable, etc. Even tho not shown on app or everything says no as in Fred Meyer. I have tried & card worked. The problem is the app., I've sent them an email & notified CareOregon to where they need to focus problem.

worked last year but uninstalled it to free up memory..then when i reinstalled it, the app would not recognize my otc card number..so i couldnt use the app..calling the number on the card for help was not useful..and apparently the developers do not respond to these reviews..highly unprofessional at best!

I wish there was a list of what is approved because I'm going to have a lot of items at check out to put back !! Gezz make it easier for us!? I have only been ordering on line then I heard I could get shampoo ect...but now How will I know what's approved.. I'm Not going to check every item,that could take a long time!!

I do not like this app; It needs to be Tweaked!! When you scan the UPC code, the little window doesn't open up to show you what you need to see. It frustrates you to scan multiple items, and you get the same poor results. Let's do a better job people! Thank you

Does not show balance. Unable to scan items as previously before update. They need another update. I tried again on 9/30/20 same issues. Last update was February 2020. Time for an update! Installed on January 7, 2021 same problem. It's been almost a year since the last update!

App is worthless, go to look for products & there is not one item that I would buy. You have to call & get the physical catalog that has more products, but then you have to call them to place an order. Why cant you just have all the products available on the app. Makes no sense.. On the app if you look under Walmart they have a whopping 45 products none of which I would buy or need.

I found this app to be average. Really not alot of use for it other than balance inquiries & general Q&A. I had to download another app inorder to shop at the OTC online store. They're very limited on products selection or they're out of stock. However, I used the card @ Walmart (in store) & I was pleasantly surprised. The card covered 2/3 of my total. Very easy to use, just swipe & hit "CREDIT"(very important) Per my BCBS, this is a rewards gift card, no additional funds will be added to it.
