OTG UART Terminal-232 Free
If there’s a USB OTG function in your mobile or Tablet, you just need to download the APP, prepare USB OTG Cable and USB Serial Port. That will make your mobile or Tablet testing tool of UART/RS-232.

For the sake of various standards of Android mobile phone and Tablet, please check your mobile as below to make sure that app can work well:1. Please check if mobile support the function of USB OTG.2. Though some mobiles have OTG function, they still need the permission of ROOT while using UART.3. Though some mobiles have OTG function, they don't supply power in the USB port. Hence, you must prepare power or USB HUB.4. The mount point of UART adaptors in some mobiles are not absolutely the name of “/dev/usb”, you can use file manager to check the mount point and inform us the name of it also.5. Anyway, you should see the UART adapter in your mobile device, and it may be in the "/dev/usb"

Works perfect on sgs3, no need for a laptop anymore just a OTG cable! Woop!! Only downside is the UI it would be nice if it was a little better, and if it was, i'd easily spend 2-5$ on it. But until there's a UI update, free version it is. Ps. Just because of the UI it's not worth taking away a star, this app is great.
Still very raw, not a lot of features. One problem on Gallaxy S2, "i" key only comes up in UPPER case. Can't seem to find a way to get a lower case "i", there fore making this unusable for me. I can type a lower case "i" in the macro setup, but not directly from the KB to the screen.
There is no menu. No hint at which cable you're supposed to plug into the OTG cable. I have 3 OTG cables and a selection of the USB to serial adapters. It would be helpful if the writer could give a hint as to what is compatible cable-wise...

Not working on sgs2
Works great. Not many features, I have the pay version because I cannot stand ads. The only issue I have is my Note 8.0 resets when I disconnect the cable.
All I see is a blank screen with the ads at the bottom of the screen. :( I really wanted this to work cause I want to be able to serial conect to switches to manage them. Dev, please test on 1024x600 screen and if you list contact info on app description I'll contact you.
