Excellent idea! Horrible execution. It is basically a web browser with an OTIP logo slapped on it. Make it so that I can sign in with fingerprint, have large mobile-phone friendly buttons, make the back button not break everything, have an interface that feels like it is much easier to use than the website please!
Do you know what's better than this app? A bookmark! This is amateur hour. E.g. CONSTANTLY asks for background location data. NEVER. I've never seen an app this bad by a large organization that manages millions of dollars of assets. Logging in doesn't work with my password manager and pages fail to load. It's a Chrome(ium) process in a frame with some nav buttons. I hope it didn't take the developer more than an afternoon to slap together. Save face OTIP and withdraw the app from the Play Store.
This is a link for a web 2.0 page that should load on a mobile phone. There is no ability to use your card either to login or a virtual card that work with service providers. Once you clumsily login, there is only a fraction of the functionality of the desktop website. Further to that, there is no camera interface to digitally upload documents for claims, submissions, or to update your profile and beneficiaries.
This is hardly an app. It is primarily a link to the mobile website, plus some of the links don't work. The UX is poorly integrated and it is hard to tell where buttons are at times. I expect better from an organization representing professionals.
I'm not sure what the point is and wonder why my union dues and benefits would go towards such a waste of an app. Not worth the space on your phone. No disrespect to the devs I'm sure you've provided what was RFP'D. In addition this app wants permissions for calendar, camera, contacts, location, microphone,. Phone, storage. This is obscene. Disappointing that it's just a window to the website. I already have a browser that does that. I hope they more significant functionality to the app because I like the idea.
Unable to log in as a retired teacher. Sent me back to the Google Play, Open, Uninstall page. Unusable at this point in time.
I am asked to download a receipt but nothing happens when I try. The button goes grey but no pop-ups to help attach anything. If receipts are mandatory, how am I suppose to submit? Not very user friendly
Crashes frequently. Often gets 'stuck' on blank white screens. Very frustrating.
This is by far the worst app for benefits that I have ever used. It is not user friendly and consistently logs me out and forgets login information. Horrible just Horrible.
Does not extend website mobile experience. Still missing capabilities of desktop experience (e.g. search claims).
Terrible app, get together with your partner Manulife and lunch off their app, your web sites do, so why not your apps. Login process is the worst.
Doesn't work and we need it for the new digital card. You would think the app would be fixed by now.
It would not load enough to even let me log it. Just a spinning wheel over a picture of a person sitting at a laptop.

Nothing has changed since the last poor review. The app is a terrible recreation of a web browser. Information is impossible to find and clicking home (after login) brings you back to the login page. At some point when searching for coverage info, I was redirected to the external website. What I need from an app is ease of login (fingerprint); coverage information immediately/easily accessible; and the ability to submit a claim. Frames within frames is very 1999.
