Otlob - Food Delivery

One of the worst experiences ever. I made an order and after an hour they called just to verify the order items and then asked to do some edits because their app wasn't up-to-date with the restaurant's available items. 45 minutes later they had the audacity to call again and re-confirm the order. Frankly, the only thing they were quick at was deducting the money from my credit card and not returning it ever again. I canceled the order after 2 hours of waiting. The shop is 10 minutes away.

Updated review: During the actual pandemic, I had no choice but to give anotuer try to the app. and really I have not faced yet any problem using it. Good job! The chat support closes and no one appears for more than 10 minutes. They never follow up if you texted them for an issue and their chat crashed. This app main goal would be saving time, this is my third time to suffer a long delay in orders and my last one was permanently deleted by the system .. it is easier to order by phone

The app is great and it is very useful for ordering food from different restaurants and showing me the best offers from all of them, but after the last update everything became confusing and it has become so difficult to find what you want, because the layout was first organized and now it is so messy (where did the search filters go? ) Please fix this messy because the app has become frankly unusable.

Very good app, but there's room for improvement: Please include the possibility to save my credit card instead of writing the number each time (saving returns error). Please include more big names in the "Pay by Credit Card" option, it's very easy and nice to use especially in giving away food to others so that they don't have to pay anything. Must include the option of buying in quarter kilos in all items that are ordered by weight (e.g. kebab and shawerma)

The app is great, I can view the menus and request any thing on the go, also you can find alot of stuff that you didn't even think of. The down side is that some times the order status is changed to "Dilevered" from the restaurant and the order is still on the way. My recommendation is that the order should have a printed label that can only be scanned by the customer in order to complete the order, and that is to guarantee the honesty of the delivery time.

Easily the worst implementation of online ordering and horrible live chat customer service. you have to wait for a longer time if you want to cancel or modify anything about your order compared to just calling the restaurant. One agent has also lied to me about the status of my order once saying it's a few minutes away, when it wasn't even out of the kitchen and I canceled it later. Horrible app with basically no essential features like a cancel button. Avoid at all costs!

The worst experience I ever had while ordering food online. The application seems user friendly but the outcome is the worst. After receiving my order there was a missing sandwich. And I spent 2 or more hours chatting with almost 6 agents trying to "fix" the problem. No one was able to solve the problem nor offer a compensation. After filing many complaints I still didn't get my order. Even the promised cash back didn't reach my account. Save your time and money and call the restaurant hotline.

It's a great app that's easy to use. They occasionally also offer discounts for some places. The only problem I find is when the food is late there's no number you can contact. Sometimes the delivery guy would indicate that he delivered the food on the app but he actually didn't deliver it yet and there's no way to contact the restaurant on the app. Other than that, it's great.

I installed it 2 days ago and after a day I uninstalled it because we don't order many times food so it will be useless for me, but guess what, After the app has been uninstalled many ads for it are shown in a crazy way!!! When I watch a normal video from my gallery *not YouTube* suddenly it stop and the ad of the app is shown, When I play any game also suddenly the game stops and the ad of this app keep showing on my phone and it's very annoying!!! It keeps showing for about 30 time everyday.

No order cancellation or address editing, and some restaurants on the app are busy hence you cant order what you want untill they become free (which almost never happens). I even tried to use a different restaurant but the order got delayed for 17 minutes then it got cancelled. It delivered zero benefits to me. I started using it recently, and based on this recent experience this app is horrible.

It offers great deals .. mostly places the order very fast but sometimes it takes like half an hour just to confirm placing the order at the required restaurant then starts counting down for the order preparation and delivery. So it ends up taking forever to get my order between my hands. But again that happens occasionally.

I don't know where to start The app is not updated with the changes made by the restaurants. Every time I order something the customer service tells me that It isn't available or i receive the order missing some items. Customer service are useless The time frame set by the app is inaccurate as i always receive the order late Pricesdisplayed on the application is higher than if u ordered directly from the restaurant. This mens that any restaurant can change the price of the menu through the app

This has become one of the WORST applications and services in the country.The customer service is beyond incompetent. I find myself teaching them the basics of customer service just to solve my issue. Orders get cancelled AFTER I have brought it to their attention after more than 1hr wait. They do not notify the customers if there is an issue, restaurants are closed on the app when they are actually open. I have made so many complaints and nothing has changed. Deleting and never using again.

I have dealt with otlob for a long time out of laziness. My issues with them: 1- Huge delays (sometimes 30+ min) for order confirmation with my restaurant of choice. 2- Using phone calls (sometimes multiple calls) for communication which defeats the purpose of using an online service. 3- Long wait times for customer support. 4- After a few updates, they removed my area out of their service area even though they serve people right across the street. I can go on but I'm out of characters.

Terrible way of dealing with customers' problems and complains , I paid for an order using my debit card and it was cancelled from your side idk why and through several emails and tries to get a proper customer service , I still didn't get my money back however I have waited way more than the expected time to get the refund and still my problem isn't solved ! I wouldn't recommend dealing with otlob through debit or credit cards.

I have tried it more than once to be fair. Orders are always late and there's no way to escalate when late after the estimated time to deliver. I even receive cold food although the restaurant is 10 mins away by car. When I use its chat to tell that my order is late, I've never got a feedback.

This is the worst delivery app I have ever used. I used it 5 times and 2 times out of five I actually got my order. My first attempt was successful. Second attempt the restaurant called back and said they dont deliver to my area even though the come up on the list of restaurants that deliver to my area. Last time I contacted customer service ...and just wow..they seem to have a script ..or they just disconnect mid conversation..unbelievable

Great app, Does what it says and you don't have to speak to anyone to get the job done. Lots of options and restaurants, it includes almost all restaurants you'd ever need. Customer support might need some touch ups but it's pretty decent still. Overall: LOVE IT!.

3 out of 5 times my order just gets canceled or never arrives. Very rarely got a good experience from this app. Thing that should be fix: - edit an order if it has not left the restaurant yet - can't edit or add anything after you order even if by mistake -very bad support, you will not get a reason or a solution to your problem most of the time -takes more time than a regular call and the delivery is slower Literally a useless app I only use it to see the restaurant near me. 0/10

Trash app. Horrible customer service. Estimated time is a lie and seller is not held accountable when they're 2 hours late. Very buggy as well and doesn't work half the time. Also you to cancel an order it's a hassle but the seller can just cancel whenever they like and you're not even notified of the cancellation

app tells me that restaurants do not deliver to my area, even though when I call them directly they do. I call customer service and they tell me to just input any area on the GPS and write out a different description of my area. elmenus is a far superior app not just in restaurants selection but the actual app as well.

Never use a card to pay, they don't take authorization and instead they charge directly the full amount. And it takes up to 9 days to refund if the order was canceled by them or the restaurant. It has been 22 days and I didn't get my refund, and it's always this way with card payment option. They collect vat twice most of the time, they charge you more than the restaurant would charge you if you order from them, and they charge around 20 pounds for there useless service. Worst service ever.

Never use your credit card and check your order before you pay because it will take forever to get your money back if they even consider giving it back in case the order came missing, it is way easier to just make your order by phone since it would be much easier to talk to the representatives of the restaurants rather than typing to the rude and extremely slow customer service of otlob in case something goes wrong with the order.

The app is good for placing food orders fast on the go but customer service is terrible and slow if you are even lucky to get connected to them...imagine siting waiting for hours with your order awaiting confirmation with no updates and you can't order another thing since you cant cancel the order so you sit there hungry with nothing you can do. Also good luck searching for a specific item..you need to open every restaurant and search for the item one by one

Otlob used to be amazing I would use it 2-3 times a day, but recently all the orders have been getting mixed up, it takes them at least 30 mins to confirm orders which makes the wait soooooo long, and on top of all of that the customer service chat is no longer functional and they don't have a number so it's impossible to call. Unfortunately I have decided to stop using otlob and go back to calling the restaurants.

Awful service! A welcome gift was said to be accredited after my first order. I had to send many emails to receive it, after explaining the issue several times (as every time a different agent responds). When they finally sent me a voucher code, I placed an order but an Otlob personnel informed me that my order was canceled (I have no idea why) and I specifically checked with him if I could reuse the voucher. Needles to say, when I tried using the voucher the app said it was already redeemed.

this is one of the worst apps, the app is practically useless , better to use the restaurants hotline. i ordered several times and paid by credit card, every single time, my credit card is charged, order is cancelled without my prior notice, and for any reason. and according to their customer service representives there is nothing they can do about it, except that refund will be in place within 2 weeks. worst customer service as they take forever to reply.
