OuderApp van Konnect
To use the OuderApp, your childcare organization must be affiliated with Konnect. You also need a user name and password, which you will receive through your childcare organization. If your children receive childcare at different daycare organizations that are affiliated with Konnect, it is easy to switch between the different accounts.

Good to know about my baby s activity/routine during his day care days via this OuderApp. However, I also felt that a "Translate Page" would be an added advantage to have for someone who is a beginner in Dutch like me. As messages and journal are mostly in Dutch, I had to translate everytime it's written in Dutch. Rest all features are good and I'm loving to use it !
From a parent perspective: Excellent app. Though it probably depends on how it is used by the caretakers. Easy to manage dates and request extra days etc. Also very nice to keep up to date of anything happening at school. And a good place to see pictures of your child having fun, especially if they make photos every day. The "review our app" functionality was (and still is?) broken so that might explain a lack of reviews here in the app store. I had to go here manually to leave a review.
Hi! The application overall looks good and it's organized well but the lacking of a simple option like copy-paste makes it very disappointing for an expat. The journal entry cannot be copied for translation - the childcare being used by lots of expats, this function it's very useful, currently you have no idea what the caregivers wrote about your child. Same applies for Mailbox. The entries from My Child tab have no filter after date.
The app has good functionality and it is easy to use. One downside is that it takes a bit of time for pictures to load.
Looks decent now compared to old app. But still there are few things which is harder for users. Downloading photos is a plus but keeping all the photos together is helpful. Otherwise we need to scroll down endless to download old photos. Also there is no option to download videos yet. Good progress, hope it gets even better.
Very usefull app. But lacks English language support which is very useful for non-dutch speakers.
It did a good job but I think the UI needs a bit of improvement, some functions aren't the easiest to find
Everytime I have to fill in the password, everytime 😔. Besides many times it works very slow.
Seems to be working fine, but can be slow to load the login, screen goes to login but it's not clear if I need to log in or if it happens automatically. Not always intuitive where to look for news and updates, as there are two areas for this.
App keeps asking to 'confirm PIN'. After a lot of trying I discovered that when I press Cancel in that screen multiple times or press the 'back arrow' in the top left of the screen repeatedly, that sometimes finally the app opens. But after a few seconds I get the 'confirm PIN' screen again. For me it is impossible to use this app at the moment and I can not get the information I need about my child.
This app is wonderful, only problem is the language, I mean we need to have choice of English language selection. Beacuse the parents are new in the Netherlands and so far they dont understand and read Dutch, so my suggestion is to add the language option to the application.
Colors used are very difficult to discern
It is indeed a slow app. I am.also under the srtong impression that the pc interface is easier to navigate. In the app version on the phones the newsitems do not appear necessarily immediately and it is easier to ask for extra days through the pv view than from the app version.
I wish it would exit like any other app when hitting back button. It'd also be nice to be able to download pictures in their original quality and with all the metadata (in particular date and time).

Disappointing that the old version was way better. The journal and photo album were separated and now are mixed. on top of this the app is less stable than its previous version
It's intuitive and layout is good. Just missing language translation or multiple language support. It will be handy for expats.
I like using this app. Is the only way of communication really. I got the pop up 'do you want to rate this app' so I followed the link in order to rate the app, and it lead me to localhost/null instead of leading me to the store. Lol, I found a bug for you 😉

It works well. It would be nice to have a feature to add photos and attachments in personal messages.
Very slow and unresponsive. Takes ages to load images, even on good wifi.
Really useful and works well for me. So many apps let you down but this one has multiple functions that all work well.
Makes communication easier with the daycare, and I get to have every update about my child and the day to day activities. I love that.
