Our Daily Bread

I followed the instructions given and it fixed the issue. It's back to 5 stars. Thank you I have used this app for many years and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately your last update has messed something up. It now will not open at all. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it but no help. It was always a 5 but since it won't open at all, right now it's a 1. Please fix it as I miss using it.

this version is terrible, stuck and stopped all the time. And cannot read the devotionals when offline, even after downloading... can we just switch back to the older version? the situation is the same after around a year!!

It would be good to have the BACK button able to exit the app. Used to have it in the past 2 version, not no longer possible to exit as well as read in offline mode. New version which allow font size and remember the setting is nice.

For reminder for daily devotions this is great. But as an app, it's bad. Update: They fixes the FB login, but it doesn't stay logged in and I have to constantly check to make sure I'm actually logged in every time I open the app.

App is shaky at best! I still enjoy reading it daily but I do not like having to re-login over and over every time there's an update! I created a login so that I can keep up with my bookmarks/favorites. And the problem is it doesn't tell you you've been logged out. I have to be mindful of when it says Good morning at the top and my name is nowhere to be found. It's frustrating....Smh.

I've been using Our Daily Bread app for some time. This morning after an update I find the app refused to open. It crashes after it opens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled however, still not working. What can I do?

I would read all the time from " Our Daily Bread " old and new ones. This app is wonderful with extras of a daily photo and a recorded reading if your eyes are tired at the moment to read. I love it 🥰♥️!!

Love the app. From some recent update, the shareable image doesn't show and if I tap it, the app crashes. Edit: the update works fine! Thanks a ton!

From hardcopy to softcopy, I have loved Our Daily Bread right from the start. But the new updated version is a bit confusing. I loved the old version more and it was more aesthetically pleasing to me and had bigger fonts to not hurt my eyes.

I love Our Daily Bread, but misplaced my January copy. So sad. I wanted to begin the daily Read Through the Bible in a Year today, but couldn't find the guide. I found it all on this app and am so thrilled. Probably because of my age, I prefer a hard copy, but until my replacement comes, I am thankful for the app!!

I grew up with the booklet in church, often reading it if the sermon was boring. It has led me to walk beside the Shepherd, and now in my late 40s it does again. God bless you for making this. It is not wood, hay, and stubble, but gold, silver, and precious stones. Well done!

Just downloaded the app after going through a bunch of other apps and immediately uninstalling them due to abnormalities within their tos/privacy policies that just doesn't sit right when only wanting a simple app for gospel/Bible. So far, this apps policy and tos is wonderful, direct, and noninvasive. Thank you for being mindful of a users privacy concerns regarding their device and personal information. And I love the fact that the app is based in U.S.A.

This amazing app is now working. I use it every day. However, The bible in a year audio portion only reads alternate chapters. Please fix this if you can. I am a senior citizen and find it easier to ĺisten. Thanks for this wonderful app. Blessings.

It's fantastic to have an app to read daily devotionals, but I think two things can be improved. 1. My account signs out daily. While it helps me remember my password, I think being kept logged in might work. 2. I can't change my country from United Kingdom to Singapore.

What's Happening to Our Daily Bread Ministries for the past 2 days it stopped working, it said "sorry that content is unavailable right now" please kindly fix the issue. Thank you!

Loses your login. Tells, "it looks like you've missed a few days," even though you haven't. When you log back in it starts the daily count again. If you have obsessive compulsive tendencies it is frustrating. But, I do appreciate the daily devotional.

I had to reload from older version that stopped the audio. App still gives the daily devotion in audio but audio in the bible in a year still down. Liked the older version better. Don't understand why audio quit.

Right from my teenage years when I was first introduced to its hard copy, in form of a booklet, and to the first time I downloaded its app, Our Daily Bread has been a devotional manual of choice. However, the latest update to the app is a total frustration: 1. I can no longer read the daily devotion in an offline mode. 2. Sharing the picture verses has become quite difficult, as it now takes several attempts before the sharing is successful. I hope these issues are resolved quickly.

I have used this app regularly for the past few years and been very pleased with it. I especially appreciated it's thoughtful design and it's ease of use - until now ! The latest update seems to have changed several things, all of which are detrimental. The fonts are different; the layouts changed and most frustratingly the audio playback feature will only start after numerous attempts at pressing the play icon. Please, please, please, revert back to the previous software version !

I'm so glad I'm able to view the app again. It kept crashing, I'm assuming from the new appearance because of an update. It works great now. Only woe is that I had to go back and re-bookmark all my favorite lessons, as it does not save them even though I used my FB account. Glad to have it back up and running! EDIT: my one issue is that a reminder does NOT come up every day, even though I have set it to do reminders every morning a 8am. Can someone fix this??

I've been using the app for over 8 years. When I switched phones last year, I lost my consecutive days streak, but that was a minor annoyance. I updated yesterday to the February 25, 2021 version 3.4.1. Now, it won't open. Starts to open, stalls, and crashes. Edit: Devs reached out with the solution quickly. Uninstall, then reinstall. Working great now. My bad for not updating my review earlier; it's been a month now.

Unreliable now after the update! I've had the Our Daily Bread app on my phone for years and it has worked perfectly & consistently. Then, apparently, the update! I didn't like the slight format changes, but there was no choice. However, worse, the app is now totally unreliable. Can't even pull up the daily devotional; can't pull up the current month's reading plan to see if you can find the devotional either. Not worth installing.

I like the design of this app, and it has great content. However, it appears that every time there's an app update, it'll stop sending daily reminders (if you have them set) and it forgets your login information. So you have to re-login to the app and re-select your notification settings. That's kind of disappointing because I like being reminded each day, and it defeats the purpose of having reminders.

I have had this app for awhile and I love it! It recently got updated and I had some issues with it crashing on my Android Samsung 7. Don't get frustrated. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and basically started over. The new layout is wonderful and you have the choice of reading the daily devotion yourself or allowing it to read it to you. It is a nice format. Love it!

I used to love this app, but now there's problems. The app won't open, it keeps saying the app is stopping and it won't open unless I uninstall and reinstall the app. Also, I don't like the new update to how the app looks. The old application had everything sectioned off like the passage and insight into separate buttons. Now it's all on one page. I miss the old look and I wish they would fix the login issue. I love this app and use it all the time. I'll rate it 5 stars after issues are fixed.
