Our Groceries Shopping List

Jan 2020 update No longer working properly with Google assistant, which was a big factor in choosing this app. It works fine otherwise so I won't uninstall it yet, but I'll be checking out the competition. Original: A little clunky in places, but integration with Google home makes it a great alternative to Google's own shopping list.

We have tried several grocery list apps. We think this is the BEST one! Since it only uses one account, there is no issue with linking and syncing of the list. It is very fast, and you can almost watch someone shop by the items going off the list. We purchased the app so we can use pictures with items when we think it is necessary. GREAT job developers.

Love the customizability, and especially the auto-categorizing. Really the only thing I miss is the ability to color-sort the individual categories. Being able to costumize colors as well would make this app a 10/10, instead of everything being the same color, as it is now. Other than that it seems like a great app.

I would really like to be able to reorder the list of lists to "most used lists" at the top. Currently, only choices are alphabetical and empty lists at the bottom. Would also be nice to add multiple different items to a list with a code word (like and or stop) between each item rather than one at a time.

I trust it to hold items entered and it waits for user to easily delete items. It also holds recipes. Can sort items by stores. Can list to do items. No time limits. Very reliable. Great app! No customer service needed because nothing has ever gone wrong. It's free!

Loving this app as I built first shopping list. Easy to add items and categories, perfect to order items and categories to suit my shop layout and nice display and editing options. The master list great to add items ready for the next shop BUT a flaw brings my 5 star down to 3. I use notes to enter required weights (for veg for example) so next time using master list the veg will have multiple records for every time I change the weight required. The master list becomes full of duplicate items.

Best shopping app we have used to date. It's intuitive, fulfills every need and expensive in options. We bought the full lifetime option within 24 hours - and spread the word around to our friends and neighbors (who adopted the app as well). SO easy to use!!!

The best multi-user shopping list! It was such a pain trying to find something we thought should have been simple. Save your self the hassle and download this app! Ads on the free version are NOT intrusive, but do get the premium for fun extra features!

Overall great experience. My family and I have used this for years. It has made the chore of grocery shopping easy to share between my partner and me. While shopping it is easy to accidentally swipe off grocery list items but because those items are then placed at the top of the 'crossed off' list, it's easy to put them back on the grocery list. So, I do wish it were not quite as easy to swipe off items.

Been using this for a few months now. Seems to work flawlessly. No issues encountered so far. I really like that I can make shopping lists for different things, eg. I have a groceries list, plus another one labelled "Bunnings" for our often long list of hardware supplies. I would confidently reccomend this app to anyone! PS: I'm using the paid version, so I can't remember if there's ads or not.

I love this app. It's easy to use and perfect for what I need. I like that I can make different lists and different categories within those lists. No more scraps of paper to lose now! A big bonus is that the ads are not intrusive. I do wish there were more dark theme colors. I'd like a different color other than back/dark gray and green, but there are only light themes with other colors.

Love using this app, but needs another option. I wish it had the option to show each of the different item of lists that I've created together on the screen at the same time. For instance I create lists for different shops I have to visit, it would be really great if I could see on screen all the places with their individual lists underneath clearly laid out. Instead of having to close one then go into another.

I've used this app for years. It's really great. It works with Google and Amazon smart speakers (works a little better with Amazon due to Google's horrific voice match bs). I can easily share lists between household members. I finally decided to upgrade just to support the developer. I've only paid for a handful of apps, ever. This is one worth buying. It's worked flawlessly for over 10 years. It's simple and did what is supposed to without any major issues.

I've been using this app for years with no ads and no issues. All of a sudden it started glitching and telling me to upgrade (again). It also caused the same kind of screen reset glitch in the play store. Which stopped when I uninstalled this app. Stayed good for about a week then back to flashing screen and zero productivity.

It's got the basics of a good app, but needs development. Would be great to have a "copy shopping list" option. We have a basic shopping list each week - one week we might add 2 particular recipes, then another week we want to go back to that basic list but add different recipes. Very hard to do this at the moment as would have to go through removing items individually. Would also be good to have a add all items back to the list (eg for weeks we just want the basic list again).

Just downloaded this. Seems like a great tool. I like how scanned items found in the crossed off section are transfered to the shopping list. One feature request I have is to make the opposite happen: cross off a scanned item instead of increasing its quantity when it's in the shopping list (maybe an option in the settings)

Love it ♡ no matter where I am I can pick up the groceries on the list that I share with my partner. It works beautifully if you just use it and add and take off items as you shop. I never liked to take list in my life, before this method of making a list. There is no excuse not to leave the store without checking the List ♡ Thank you 😊

Love, love this app and have many of our family friends using it as well. Besides the typical grocery lists with several stores, I have been creating lists...thinking outside the box such as:Topics to discuss with physician, Christmas grocery list, cottage meal plan with grocery list, gardening plants bought yearly, items stored under my stairs with pictures, 7 week rotation of meal planning with grocery list for each meal I can go on....

Thus app is so easy to use! So many items are automatically categorized which saves so much time when adding items to your list. I'm so happy I switched from the app I've been using for years!

Lots of flexibility with interface so you can make a list for overall what is needed or each individual store for specific items. So far the bar code reader has worked well finding the correct item. Well done.

I've been a die hard MightyGrocery user for as long as I can remember, but there hasn't been an update in years and a lot of server problems started to occur. This has become my replacement.

It just works. The sharing of lists is freaking awesome. It updates in damn near real time. My wife and I have been using this for years and it has never failed us. It works so well we bought the key to unlock "pro" within the first few months of owning and before it was on play pass. It doesn't log me out very often, maybe 3 times in the past 3+ years. It has dark mode, easy to make lists and it saves all your entire for future use (makes it easy to add things). Please don't change!!

This app makes it easy for us to manage multiple lists from our individual devices. The ads aren't intrusive, but sometimes I try to click on them to get more info (they're actually relevant!), and what happens is that the app wants to put that item on one of our lists. Nah, I just wanted more info. But ultimately, it's a very useful and uncomplicated app.

I love how customizable it is. For example, you can change how to cross items off the list: swipe, short tap, or long tap. You can also tweak how auto-capitalization behaves: every word, first word, or all lowercase. I love these simple-yet-much-appreciated features. It also does a great job of auto-categorizing items, such as milk belonging to dairy, tomatoes to produce, and so on. Definitely worth the price to get rid of the ads.

My wife & I have used OurGroceries for years & always been very happy with the ad-supported version. There have been a handful of times where the ability to add pictures or scan barcodes would have been nice, but not frequently enough to justify subscription. But then today we received an email that the development team was giving the paid features in the ad-supported version, & I thought to myself "that is so cool! I appreciate it so much that I'll pay for it to support them!" So we did.

This seems like a good app but its misding the ability to add prices to the items which is a deal breaker for me. I like the ability to add photos and scan in items. If the item scan isnt recognised details can be added manually which is fantastic. A very promising app.

Great list for groceries etc. The only thing I would like would be the ability to have the price with the item. Easy to use and shareable. I've used it for years
