Love OurBus so much. Travelling on a budget is so hard, especially when you're in a long distance relationship. I HATE busses, so when I say that I love OurBus you know I mean it! Thanks for making my long journeys to see my partner not so bad.
Very clean and a smooth ride to destination and back.
While I would usually give this app a 3- or 4-star rating, it gets 1-star because of the continual pop up notifications telling you to share the service with friends. That is just so annoying. Also, they group all the notifications so you can't just turn off the ads without losing the others. As far as the rest of the app goes, it's fine, but could use improvements. The app constantly signs you out which is annoying. Bus tracking had worked only about 1 out of 7 trips. But all tickets show up.
AMAZING bus ride the drivers are fantastic with driving and they are very polite and courteous with the passengers. Busses are very clean and confortable. I will be booking again for sure... Thank you to my fantastic drivers you rock....
Very well run operation drivers very courteous and professional city closed off streets for marathon bus could not get to stop 5min before scheduled arrival time was given a text to go down the block I go to Atlantic city 4 or 5 times a month will use no one else
Clear and simple to use
Needs more ui feature IMO. love the app for convenience but they should have search filters after you put in the general stuff so you can reorganize by like cheapest, time and whatnot like on the website. I will be using it more for now but since they only have greyhound it's expensive would be nice to have more cheaper options. I'm assume tho that that would require a lot of making sure that the buses are not garbage, ie reliable b 4d it is added to the app.
Bus does not show for 2 hours. Me and others waiting there call the support. We ask to delete our trip and get refunded. We also send a written request on the app. No replies. Messages disappeared. We never boarded on that bus, due to a 2 hours delay and we probably never get the money back. Horrible!
The app is fine.. the bus experience.. a disaster of operating procedures.
I received no notification that my trip was cancelled, neither a text message or an email. I waited at the stop for 25 minutes before calling customer service and getting an awfully rude representative who told me to check my email and messages over and over again before more or less hanging up on me. Luckily I managed to purchase a Greyhound ticket in time to still make it to my destination but I want a refund for my 33 dollar ticket.
Want to track a bus on the app doesn't seem possible unless you're on the bus
I downloaded this app hoping to be able to track my girlfriend's bus, but there doesn't seem any way to track unless the ticket is associated my account. Other than that, the app has a nice responsive design.
My review before was only ⭐ star cos that day this app wasn't working at all. Next day I checked and it was working fine . I had a ride with this bus company to Atlantic city from NYC. Very smooth ride and clean bus. Only think is bus tracker and wifi doesn't work.
I had originally booked Monday Oct 18 at your scheduled time departing at 3pm. This has been the departure time l booked several times. Since you don't have a departure (or arrival) time in Brooklyn, when you changed the departure time to 9am, it meams that you were expecting those of of us dependant on public transport to spend 3x as long getting to you DURING A 3 HOUR MORNING RUSH. So in answer to your question, your app SUXS

My first time using them the day after booking a trip they changed my ticket from evening to morning without consulting me, there was no way to contact them directly only contact forms, no answers. I wouldn't touch this company with a 12 door pole. I better get my refund.
Efficient user Interface. Fast. Reliable. Not sure about the bus tracker. Havent used it in a while.
The app said the bus was one minute away and then tracking the bus would make the app crash. Turns out the bus was an hour late and when it finally arrived they made everyone in line walk 10 minutes down the street to get to the bus because it wouldn't come to the terminal.
My bus from Ithaca to NYC broke down on the highway and the replacement took hours to arrive. Then the driver forgot this phone in the original bus after we had left in the replacement, and made a U-turn to go back and get it. After all this, we still had to stop in Binghamton and wait even longer than usual there. In total we arrived over 3 hours late. The driver was talking to a friend over the phone and he said these breakdowns happen almost every day. Never ride Outbus if you can avoid it.
The buses are always clean. The drivers are alway on point. The buses are always on time. They never over book like other bus companies. If i could give them a 10 star I would.

Need a phone number to call when can't make the bus. I missed the bus yesterday because of traffic the Uber driver faced. I had to spend an extra 40$ to take uber back to where I was staying. I expected my pass would still be there, as the driver could NOT count me as getting aboard the bus. How could you still charge me? And I need help to use that pass TODAY!
Frequent rider and I've had nothing but great services. Clean buses. Working plugs to charge your gadgets. Safe and friendly drivers. Free Wifi. Always excellent customer service.
Amazing! Easy to use! I needed to cancel a ticket, and it was no problem at all. Then buying an other ticket was quick and clean!
Great experience! Clean, we'll equipped with chargers, wifit, tv monitors. Our driver David was very friendly & professional. Considering our travel was 2 days before Christmas, there were only 6 passengers on the bus.
If you try and track the bus, you get logged out instead, because of course, why would you try and make your app functional??? Absolute garbage.
I loved this app. Its convenient and comfortable. The app works nice, the buses are on time! Highly recommend.
Works as expected, except when I select to pay with paypal it just hangs with a blank loading rectangle. I added the card manually in app and it works that way though. One trip I was booking increased in price as I was paying for it so I spoke with a representative on the phone, they explained that the prices are "Dynamic" the bus tracking feature is nice.
