They bought a great app and ruined it completely. I bought the pro version which used to be ad free. Now it has a lot of ads and every time i open it i get a useless prompt to enable GPS access. I notified them but they did nothing. Lots of other users have the same issues but they don't care. Even though i paid for it I'm uninstalling it.
This developer has changed the description of their product. When I purchased it, it was shown to 'remove ads' by buying the pro version. They have put ads back in (for their own products/services at least) and have huge half-screen nags each time you open it. If you don't like ads, don't use this product and apparently sending them money is just a gift, you get nothing in return.
The pro version that I paid for did not include ads. The pro version has been updated to include ads. Also the bloated features make the app run incredibly slow. Please remove some extra features if you can't keep the app running smoothly. It's begun crashing with some of the new additions
I've used this app for years and it WAS great. I purchased the "Pro" version to eliminate ads which used to work. Today however this no longer works. Don't pay for the Pro version anymore. Not only are there ads but they are very aggressive and obtrusive.
Paid for the Pro version several years ago to remove ads. Now they're back. No thanks - defeats the purpose of paying. There are apps out there with better UI if it means having to put up with ads.
Used the ap for years and have loved it. It's been reworked recently. Those of us who paid for features and no ads are now getting bugs, ads, being prompted for unnecessary permissions. Don't waste your money.
The pro version is no different than the regular version. Even though when it says to learn more it's specifically says get the pro version and there are no ads. Then when you message them about it, their reply is, gfy......
Interesting how the few complaints this company has responded to all conveniently say nothing about forcing ads on customers that paid for the original PRO version explicitly to get rid of them. I don't think they get it. If you sell me a BMW but I look in my driveway two years later and see you've switched it with a Kia, you stole my BMW. I don't care that you've recently changed your business model to taking customers' money for literally no additional goods or services. YOU STOLE MY BMW!
I purchased this unlock years ago and recently ads started popping back up. I'm not interested in paying to unlock twice. The developer really needs to fix this issue because otherwise I really like this app, but I should not have to pay for it more than once to remove ads.
Uninstalled! I've used Out of Milk ever since the App was released and happily used it after paying for the Pro Version to enjoy no ads. Now their back?? So very rude to do this to your loyal patrons. I've uninstalled this app forever and have told all my friends and family to immediately uninstall this app and have promised to find a much better replacement app for them. SHAME ON YOU!!! You're tactics are completely unprofessional!!
In spite of your claim that purchasing the Out of Milk Unlocker will REMOVE ads, the description of the Unlocker says that it CONTAINS ads. False advertising much? I won't even get into how offensive some of your ads are to me or the fact that there is no way to CLOSE these ads. Looks like it's time to find a new shopping list app.
I've used this app for years. I paid for pro in 2015 and have had no issues with ads or anything until recently. Once ads are gone for pro users I'll rate it higher.
I bought this app in 2014 and I loved it. It now doesn't work. I went on the website it says you can't buy the pro anymore but people that had bought it should still work. But every time I try to use the app it says that the app isn't updated for my phone. I know the app was only $2 but I'm very disappointed
Please update the pro unlocker app to work with newer Samsung phones. I have both the app and pro unlocker on my phone, but the app does not recognize the unlocker. When I try to upgrade the unlocker the play store tells me the unlocker app is not optimized for my device so I can not download any updates.
I paid for the Pro version. Then over the years this app has lost just about all of its functionality. Now I have had an email saying that anyone outside of the US or Canada will no longer be able to use the app. Refund required, no longer fit for purpose!
I agree with people below: i paid the pro version some time back, which is has gone without any notice. I lost all my lists and personalisation, quite frustrating. Can we get an explanation, please? Asap!? I wrote a message on the website, dit not even a reply. This is unacceptable!!! If nothing happens in a few days, i will switch to another one!
The pro ive had for a long time.but i cant even send an email to talk to somebody who can help says i have to format email .i dont know what that means. It is very hard to navigate.cant figure the barcode scanner out or how to do the item pricing.it is probly a good app if you are 20 years old.im gettong close to seventy and dont have many christmases left.it is so complicated to me i hope idont put the phone on a post and cut it in two with my chainsaw .thank you.
This does not deserve the one star I was required to give it just to say this. Was a wonderful app BEFORE it was sold to none other than a company driving it into the ground. Easily replaced with pen and paper grocery list.
I used to love this app. I had several different stores listed for my shopping. All of a sudden I lost ALL my lists. What the heck?????? I had all kinds of stuff on my lists. I've had these lists for years since I first started using this app.
Ads! Why pay for pro version and still get ads! Have been using it for years with no problems, now, it will be fun to find a new app that honors people who upgrade.
Bar Scan feature rarley works, unable to invite anyone. AlWays tells me there is an error. I have updated, removed and added back on to see if it fixed issues. It did not Keeps your lists though and adds the prices pretty well, coupon section could use some work as it does not always work. Needs a "this item on sale" with the regular price as well as the sale price. So you can update it the next time you donot forget it was on sale the last time you bought the item.
