Outsurance doesn't give you your 10% discount like they say, It's a once off! As i was told by one of their consultants, i should've So read the "fine" print, its not monthly! So why have the app running in the background and waste my battery use. No happy that false information is given out over TV adverts about 10% discount for smart driving and outsurance doesn't oblige to. And also, don't change your address when you move, your premium goes up too. Outsurance doesn't help you save on nothing
The inspection part of the app does not work. As soon as the 2nd photo is taken the app stops working and you have to open an log in again. I have been struggling to load inspections for almost two months now. Please update the app so that it can be used for what it was intended for.
Smartdrive does not record my trips and is stuck at 8% complete. I have phoned to report it and emailed with no response from Outsurance. I do not understand how they would recommend Smartdrive if the app is not functional. I'm very dissapointed. I deregistered and would not recommend joining Smartdrive.
The best app I have ever had to use, app is exactly aligned to outsurance' no 1 service. I just love the app, simple, clear, easy to use, helpful, results driven, what more can I say. Keep up the good work Outsurance
I installed the App. Especially to Get Panic Assistance. I then tried to sign up for Panic Assistance. Could not find my way. The app options are io see my policy details, change my policy etc. I logged out. Then tried to log in again. app the took me back to creating new account, OTP's et al.
The app is ok, but I have been using smart drive, last 2 months. This problem has since being sorted out.
Registered for panic assistance on OUTSURANCE APP. There is an opportunity to test the panic button. Tried 3 times. First at 12.49pm. Now 1.59pm and no one has called me! Would hate to have a real emergency.
Smart drive is a good idea and works except for the fact that it can't tell when I am the passenger instead of the driver.
Smart Drive function is annoying, basically it thinks I'm driving a car while on a Stationary exercise bike also it keeps asking me if I'm a passenger on this trip I have my own car thanks 😊 even if I walk upstairs to my Bedroom it's a trip stupid .... you guys have updated this app or what ?? Way way to sensitive now. BTW same phone as before don't blame the phone. Reading the reviews I'm not the only one with this annoying.... we're you a passenger on this trip thing
Explain how I can open "Your Outstanding Actions". It shows I have 1 and I am unable to open anywhere. Not very user friendly.
Very fast and efficient assistance. The app is wonderful to use, would lime to see some more features regarding actual communication capabilities between customer and consultant on the app please.
I've had to open the App a few times in order for the trip to be recorded (not even sure if that was the reason it started to record). Sometimes it doesn't record at all, and it wouldn't be due to internet connection. It's very unpredictable and unstandardized. Also had the same issue as reported by others regarding a trip being recorded when I'm not even walking nor the car being in motion.
Don't know what to really say. I have been traveling over 200km since the start date of downloading and registering on the app and my trips have not been recorded. So far, it only shows 8% and it's stuck on that %. Please advise on way forward as I have recently changed from another insurance to Outsurance for the month of January 2021 cos of this being one of the benefits which I was really looking forward to.
I really struggle with the Outsurance App. When I log in with my ID number it prompts me to create an account. But the says my email address already exists. If I log in with my email address my policy detail don't appear in the app. Nothing appears in the drop-down fields in Documents. After being an Outsurance client for 23 years I downloaded the Dial Direct app and insured my new car on their app. Outsurance has just lost business because of their poorly development app and systems.
I will never go to another Insurance. Exelent and convinient App and submitance of claims. Very fast payouts if you have to claim.
It is very easy to work with Outsurance. I love the use of technology in the offering and the reduction in premiums I received.
Power Intensive App while using Smart Drive. And I can clearly see how its draining my battery on short trips. Is it really worth 10% off my premium by constantly having a drained battery?
When trying to rate the experience of the SmartDrive feature the app crashes. You never know when the SmartDrive is active without going to the SmartDrive tab. There should be some notification icon showing you the SmartDrive function is active. It use to show a GPS icon but for some reason it doesn't anymore.
This app is very annoying. I've probably driven about 1000km since installing it and activating SmartDrive but I'm still on 85%. Sometimes it doesn't record drives and other times, even after I've stopped driving, it continues to record the journey until I restart my phone. Its extremely inconvenient.
I am unable to submit my Vehicle inspection on either my phone nor my Wife's. I have tried over 15 times on either to no avail. Please can someone assist or roll out an update to fix this feature. I want to fulfill the requests however the app certainly does not make this possible. Also the drive feature is quirky and bugged just the same. Overall I think the app is in need of a serious debugging... Please assist.
