This one has a long way to go. So much Can't be done on the app and has to be done on computer, which is a real pain if you're working on the go and on the phone. Also, constant error messages so difficult to stay up on listing. Further, setting up requires searching all over for owner liability coverage. I didn't find it before my first guest, who was supposed to be 2 people for one night. Turned out to be a party and totally screwed me. Nightmare all around.

The older version was much more user friendly being able to click from messages for each booking and view the calender. My big problem is seeing and responding to reviews. I get an email saying a review has been sent but when I click I can't access it. Now I can't see any reviews on the app. Have had to call several times to get reviews that I can see in an email put onto my page. Think some reviews have been lost. Would also be good if it was possible to change charges etc via the app.

The calendar does not load in the internet browser, stating this feature is only available in the app. But the app has limited calendar functions. For example: you can see a blocked date in the app, but no notes from the block. This forces me to use a desktop to see additional information. The functionality of other options is also generally poor.

This is the worst management app I have ever had the displeasure of working with. It gives you an error everytime you try to send a message, then may or may not send it. There is not a way to click on a reservation and see the information and how to message the guest. Reservations are sorted by date received not date of arrival with no intuitive way to change. Useless. I would remove my listing from VRBO but it does bring me some business so I leave it.

All in the sudden you can not block the first day when this is the check out day for another reservation. Highly impractical cause one needs to fix the issue on the laptop, so it does not cause issues in the future in regards to over booking a room. Since the help desk is not helpful we are stuck with another problem. No point calling cause it never changes anything!

Frustrating app to use. It's been 2 days of trying to get into the VRBO and VRBO owner app. I received a message from a potential guest and I have been trying to respond. It's been almost 24 hours since they first reached out to me and I still have not been able to communicate with them through the app. I'm nervous about getting bookings through VRBO and having problems or payment issues and not being able to address it right away.

This app is so frustrating you constantly have to go back to a laptop because it doesn't load properly doesn't present the calendar You can't get messages. I have other vacation rental sites and this one is the worst.

Worst app ever.... every single time I try to manage the property via the app I end up having to log in to my computer instead. Missing features, errors constantly, nothing loads consistently. It really makes property management on the go quite difficult

Will not allow you to block off single days so especially if it backs up against a reservation. So say you need to block a day on the owners calendar for cleaning a day before or after a reservation. You can not!! Sometimes causing booking which you then have to cancel and then it affects your super host position. So the owner is given a poor score because the calendar in this app is insufficient!

App is frustrating and needs to start up for owners rather than diverting thru play store and then having to open. Can't access when wifi or cell signal is weak. Poor design. Also, co-host are not notified properly when messages from guests come in.

Using VRBO is not my favorite booking site , as you cannot see anything about your guests besides their name and phone # . Also I suggest NEVER to link your sites as it is not good in anyway. Until I linked my accounts I never once had an issue as soon as I did I had multiple double bookings ( not fun ) Any guest I have received though through VRBO have been top notch , your just taking a chance. Also the payment system hmmmm is not wonderful. Hope this is helpful, I will continue using.

Sometimes if I have too many apps open in the background I cannot get the inbox or the calendar to load. Otherwise, great app! I have only had to use the Web browser version when I don't have a secure Wi-Fi network.

It really is as bad as the other reviews say. Never can connect. Takes hours to upload a photo. Connect to the site always drops even on wifi. It's pretty much pisswater. No, I'm not going to be your product testing team.

This app doesn't have all the features needed to manage your listing or makes it difficult to find. I wasn't able to see or make changes to my listing or read reviews. It allows only basic actions such as the inbox and calendar.

I have used the app in the past with no issues. I have now moved to the latest Pixel 6 running on the most up to date software and it can't even access any data and thinks my phone is off line. Have deleted and reloaded several times. I suspect this is coming to all users once the latest version of Android is released to the wider community

This app is so glitchy, can't even see our property when you click on the icon and have to refresh the screen constitantly before it will finally show up, then when you click on the edit tab the app will show that it is having issues. Can't even access your property to do anything. I have to go into my laptop to access and thst is not always convenient or accessible.

Probably the most frustrating experience I have had with an app in recent memory. I tried to set up a host account and it said I have a travelers account already and to sign in with that acount. When I tried to sign in with that account it kept trying to send me to the travelers app instead. I created a new email address to use with the app and was able to get started on listing my property. I was then unable to add photos, but I can't complete the listing without photos.

This app is awful. The only reason you would want to use it on your mobile is to get to the calendar which ISN"T available on the your mobile browser (Chrome in my case). On your mobile browser, you have the full functionality of your PC or Mac, but the calendar is not supported. They are forcing you to use their app to be able to see the calendar, but once you see it, you can't do much with it. You can't edit a booking without a lot of jumping around - you can see a booking on the calendar, but it doesn't tell you anything about it. -You have to click one of the date's and it will tell you who is staying there, but not any other detail. -Now you can leave the calendar and go to the Messages tab where you can scroll down until you find the person who is staying there. - Click on Details at upper right. NOW you can edit the booking - change a check in or check out date, add a charge or refund. How about wanting to take a look at your reservation list? No. Maybe you changed the door code but forgot to add it to your Welcome information. Nope. I find it very hard to believe that someone signed off on having this published.

The app is very glitchy. Sometimes you can't get in to check your bookings or even make edits to your property. The other issue you don't always get your push notifications. I have used it on 3 separate phones brands and still had the same issues. VRBO you guys can do better than this. Please fix these glitchs! Other than the App.. the company, support and marketing are good.

Difficult to navigate and I haven't been able to get VRBO Owner to create a shortcut so I always have to go through VRBO and click the host button or Google play and open to get into my account. VRBO itself is great, just not the app.

I am a VRBO owner and this app is extremely limited comparative to Airbnb app. It's impossible to see your statistics. Extremely poor support structure. Hard to block multiple days off at once. The app won't even let me access support because it doesn't even load. I am a host and have hosted two vrbo guests. I haven't even been paid yet and now I'm trying to figure out what info I gave them so I can be paid. There is zero ability to do this on either app.

This app is terrible. Calendar is impossible to manage and simple tasks such as updating photos of your property take multiple unnecessary steps and will inevitably error out forcing you to have to restart the process. Even when you get a message saying your updates are successful there is a good chance they actually weren't. You won't know until you go and cross check your listing on the VRBO website.

The interface on a smartphone between both vrbo apps is poor, you can get stuck in the holiday maker app, eventually you find your way to the owner app but there should be an easy way to go ebteen them both. The functionality on the owner app is also very limited and it seems impossible now to use the vrbo website via a smartphone so that's also frustrating as some changes or updates have to wait until you're in front of a desktop. Also how do you edit your comments to guests reviews? 😞

For 2 years this WAS a great app. Now, effective May 19, 2022, the app stopped working. I deleted the app and reinstalled it 3x and it's still not working while I have VRBO guest in my guesthouse.

Right, so I have a property on this app, and I was scammed by a guest which after the whole stay asked for a refund to his bank claiming it didn't recognize the charge. Unfortunately it has been 3 months and VRBO hasn't done anything at all to help out. I have been calling week in week out and no updates. The only answer I get is that the billing department hasn't given any updates, the worst thing is that us as owners are left unprotected with these types of scams. Horrible experience

Terrible app, terrible company. You can't add more than one picture at a time or send attachments to guests needed when sending damage charges. It refuses to upload images of certain standard sizes from a phone or if they're too big. The app struggles to load messages. It's impossible to adjust a guests trip dates and charges using the app, it will just change the reservation without allowing you to uodate charges.
