Nothing to complain. Easy setup, self-explanatory interface, broad set of features and constant updates. I especially like the option of automatic photo upload. This allows me to backup my gallery and save storage on my phone. Nice work!
Unfortunately, this app is virtually unusable. Syncing takes forever (hours, sometimes) just to update the list of files - and this happens every single time the app opens. During that time, it's not possible to upload or download specific files.
Between their private email and this app, I'm staying away. I spent hours setting up my email which was to be seemless - right... Customer service was fine, im getting an email as the app wouldn't work for me. Most of their support techs had difficulty understanding my requests. They were quick to end the chat, gave me incorrect information to use. All together email with this company was horrendous. The app froze and wouldn't load at most points. Zoho was set up and active in 15 minutes
Update: I did install the new version and it appears that it's working again. Going to test the auto photo upload. The app no longer works at all. It just sits and spins, syncing nothing.
No matter what I try even if I manually try the email, I can not get this o sign in and with the OXMail app the screen bounces around so I can't even enter the user name or password. You should include a help email or instructions as it seems lots of people are having issues, myself included.
The app is good. But since I use Linux and OX-support for WebDav doesn't work there (and never has) the experience with the ox solution (transferring from app to desktops and v.v.) is mediocre. Unfortunately, because I do like the emphasis on security and privacy.
I use my with NameCheap Private email. Works exactly as expected, Quite Well. When you first log on it asks for a URL without specifying where you get this. I guessed right the first time. You might include a screen prompt to tell people where to get this URL link to type in. I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars because of a fast response from the developer. Most don't ever reply.
I enabled two factor authentication on my providers instance of OX, this app does not seem to support it as I get an error message of missing multifactor authentication when trying to login. This app does not appear to support the TOTP feature that is supported by its server product.
Sync is too slow to be usable and gets hung all the time, but no indication what it is doing. Why does this sync app take hours to accomplish what most do in seconds?
I am having this same problem. "No matter what I try even if I manually try the email, I can not get this o sign in and with the OXMail app the screen bounces around so I can't even enter the user name or password. You should include a help email or instructions as it seems lots of people are having issues, myself included." Please send instructions.
I have purchased a personal email address but this app never connects. Error messages appear because either the server is unresponsive or prevents passwords being filled in. Absolutely pointless app.
Waste of time. Doesn't work at all Haven't even got past the login stage. And I wouldnt be using this app if I didn't have a valid app suite account. - Update - I cod not sort the issue. I now use the 'MyMail' app. It worked instantly.
Very simple and glance UX, Please remove banner with ukraine on your site - software it isnt political war.
I don't understand why people give bad reviews. It just take me less than 3 minute to set up everything. The app is fast and reliable and easy to use and understand. Some people just get desperate because they can't connect to the server and give bad reviews.
For me the app just works, it's not perfect UI wise but it does the job - only annoying thing is that it requests a new login very often..
Once TFA is enabled on the server the app can't log in and loses the previously configured account settings. Responses here indicate that support thinks this is not their issue. I believe it is.
Internal error. Even emailed to see if I could do something different to allow the app to work and noone responded. Uninstall for me!
I'd like to disable the notification about successful sync. Just do your job and don't bother me. Only let me know if things aren't working as supposed. THX
App doesn't work on my Google Pixel 3. Constantly tells me there was an error inside the server. Completely worthless.
I can log in on the desktop but not with the app. Hmmm, Sounds like an app problem. Can someone please address this obvious problem?
Pointless. Don't download this if you have two factor auth enabled, because the app can't even get past that and ask you for a code, it just complains.
Super easy, all work fine in 2mn. Reliable. I don't understand the bad reviews...
"Sync completed" but the file wasn't uploaded. I guess I got what I paid for.
Move along, folks. This is *not* worth the hassle. There is a problem on their end. Look at all the one-star reviews. Still, they will say it's your issue, etc. You see where this going: The Endless Loop of Hell.
Constant server error. Could not go beyond setup.
Impossible to even log in with info Private Email itself provides to login.
Can't log in. Server always has an error
Terrible and required if you have name cheap purchased mail.
It has been made impossible to use for just on-demand use. There used to be a set of options for syncing, such as to sync only on app open, but those were inexplicably removed without warning in the last "look and feel" update. And even the Log out button is non-functional/simply does nothing. The only way to prevent background sync that I can find, is to uninstall. Update: Saw reply, great! Was all ready to give an updated review.. except, sync on app open still gone. Uninstalling again, argh.
