The app used to work fine. Today, it tells me that it requires permission to save photos to my phone in order to operate. If you deny the app permission, it won't even function.
Only a dictionary? I thought I was downloading a grammar app, but it appears to be a dictionary instead. Also, every time I tried to explore or open something to look for the grammar information, I got studied into ads.
I like it so far, although I have not been able to explore as thoroughly as I would like to, so I'll reserve my full review untill then. I like that it has the word of the day and it comes to me in a pop up or pull down menu 😃
So bombarded with ads right from install it was too frustrating just trying to navigate around a little and get an initial feel for it. Uninstalled
Update the app with the updated grammar content. I bought the app but I have stop using it. The online version at the Oxford has the very latest.
I paid for full feature in 2013 for €8,99. In the meantime i change my mobilephone and now i install it back but I get only free version. Is it possible to have a full feature again?
How do you stop the app from popping up in other apps like notepad? It's really annoying every time I go to my notepad I get a pop up circle of this app on my screen.
It appears to be a dictionary, but I cannot find any grammar & punctuation exercises. Don't bother downloading this app.
Oh! I so much love this app, it's very good for teachers, good explanation, and well understood.
Exactly what does this do? ''I not speak English'' that is incorrect grammar and yet ''No results found''. Doesn't have a problem with one letter but more than that forget it.... I'll stiuck with Google
I like the punctuation and grammar tips offered. They're easy to comprehend and apply.
Because Americans have lost the ability to communicate clearly an 'app' like this may be of help to eliminate the many nondesciptive words in their vocabulary.
I have long been benefiting from this excellent work, and hardly got disappointed. It's from among my few reference books.
This app keeps nagging me to give it a five-star rating even after I already rated it over a month ago! So, down to one star and dropping quickly!
Sadly this didn't work for me. I wanted to try it but the dictionary was obscured by an advert I couldn't get rid of. Obviously I won't be buying it.
Good app for those of us that need a reference for grammar - direct and understandable.
It does not provide meanings and the like. Only provides a daily word.
It could be more didactic, with more examples. Anyway, a 4 stars application.
Greetings, Oxford team, you have always been a great of literarylit. Thank you with all of my heart. Very truly yours tsid And TRA355..
Very simple with succinct explanations. I really enjoy it.
Could not find anything on punctuation after installing the free version. Uninstalled.
The free version does not have anything on punctuation. Don't waste your time downloading, you will be disappointed.
It's good. But it's better to give some more brief information for easy understand
It was not showing the meaning without subscribing its version. Didn't like the app
Excellent resource and learning tool. Thank you developers.
it's very useful app and any person can leaarn more English at home
This app could be good, but MobiSystems always need money--guy's please at least increase MB. . .
It is always nice to keep an eye on literacy and grammar
Nothing about grammar or punctuation. Only advertising of other must pay apps.
EVERYONE NEEDS THIS!!! As an artist with a B.F.A. in English Literature, I love love love this app! In this age of predictive text, spell-check, and text abbreviations; This dictionary should be required not only for students, but anyone who calls themselves educated. **I especially love the tip of the day- I get to relearn things from The Elements of Style that I thought I'd never forget while in college! 20 stars (if I could!)
