I hate it. Only works online. Paid for premium version but the download fails again and again on an excellent link. Do not let them scam you for a premium version thst doesn't work. Hopeless. Also lots of problems with the user interface.

Couldn't live without it. Most of my progress in perfectioning my English is due to the constant use of this dictionary along the years. Worth thousands more the seemingly expensive price. Getting praised for my English all the time. This dictionary is what set me apart from "the apple is on the table" rabble. 5 stars for the dictionary, 3 stars for the app, hence 4 stars. Believe me, don't trust the cheapskates whining about the price, it pays you back by the thousands, provided you are using it in its full potential, in particular checking the phonetic symbols for each word you are looking up.

Doesn't work most of the time. I entered dollar for English and it said it couldn't find it!! And this is just one example of the many searches that have failed. The app is n useless!

Terrible functionality, annoying / poorly designed daily notifications, unrequested screen hijacking with their logo regularly appearing over other apps, blocking access to basic features while requesting an upgrade to paid version. Avoid at all costs.

When set to "from Italian to English", voice recognition (from Google) insists on hearing English words. Fix it, and let me know when it works. I'll give you more stars!

I've paid £17.99 for the premium, ad-free version. So what do I get? Constant needy pop-ups demanding a 5 star rating. Get rid of these and I'll consider rating according to the app's merits. Until then, it stays as 1 star. Understood? Good.

Paid for premium version !!!! No all info listed. You see verb list 35...click on the link and what you see only conjugation 1p.sg. ....and nothing else.. @developers if you want I can send u some screenshots and examples

There should be an "export favourites to CSV" option so you can easily use favourites in flashcard apps etc. Also, every so often they reduce the price to 50% so wait for this before buying!

30-day trial of an expensive app, all the while interrupting you with full-screen audio/video ads? Thanks, but no, thanks.

Ste. P. May 5, 2020

I don't really recommend this app because when you try and search some words it goes straight to a page asking for you to pay money. All I want is a good Italian dictionary and I can't seem to find one....

Bri. S. Sep 18, 2019

Designed for Italians trying to learn English. There is audio pronunciation of Engish words but none for Italian words. Hence only 3 stars.

Ric. B. Nov 6, 2018

Excellent dictionary with huge vocabulary and invaluable phonetic guidance. Actually better than any printed dictionary I know.

Had. R. Jan 22, 2021

Whenever I read and come acrkss an unķnown word I turn to the dictionary and the term is lit and explained, it does not interrupt my reading

jos. C. Dec 8, 2018

Easy to use and has much more information than a translation app can ever have.

Joh. B. May 18, 2021

It's brilliant, indespensible, however the word of the day is never what shows up every morning.

Jam. W. Jun 30, 2020

Always trying to get you to upgrade, notifications are a pest

Tin. Y. Y. Mar 21, 2019

this app doesnt tell me the pronunciations of words

Rom. G. Mar 22, 2020

Why the need of my photo library? Useless app.

Gök. M. Oct 3, 2020

It is trial.

Excellent dictionary sterile format and is cheap and ugly looking. Original versions of this app had a much nicer appearance. Mobisystems you can do better than this.

Pet. A. Jun 13, 2019

Most expensive in play store. Recent updates still do not address deficiencies. Does not provide an audio function to assist in pronunciation, as many free versions do, or in the version available on ipads and iphones. Only redeeming factor is the comprehensive word list. These deficiencies should be addressed if the publishers want to retain credibility. As of 13/06/19 these issues remain ignored by Mobisystems, and a full 4 years since I first posted this negative review. Would not buy again.

Sim. J. Jan 24, 2019

Stop interrupting me with requests for 5 star reviews. Otherwise good.

Luc. I. Dec 3, 2018

I would like to have a pdf version as well.

Nik. J. Jun 26, 2018

After three years, the developers haven't put a simple fix in any of the updates - you can't select/copy text normally. You can only select one word or the entire page, which is completely impractical if you want to copy one meaning of the word. I will fix the rating when they finally implement this extremely simple fix.

Car. B. Aug 1, 2018

Not only defines the word, but gives extensive information on how it is used. Fast and easy to use.

Jim. F. Jul 7, 2018

An excellent dictionary app. Fairly comprehensive.

P. B. Jun 26, 2018

This is for constantly demanding a 5 star review. Happy now? Idiots.

Great dictionary but I miss the prononciation......

Est. H. Nov 18, 2017

Limited vocabulary e.g. zia, aunt, but no zio, uncle. Only has the infinitive of verbs leaving you stuck if you can't work out what it might be ( as often happens in Italian). Also in examples often only part of the word is included leaving you to guess what is meant. for such an expensive app you might expect to hear words pronounced. That said there are very good examples of how words are used in different contexts. My Chambers English and Le Robert French dictionaries are much better and cheaper, but I haven't found a better Italian dictionary.
