Don't bother, after the trial you can't even check the definition of the word of the day in the app because a persistent "buy premium" will block your way and there is no way to get through to the definition. I don't want to do more. I want an online word of the day. It's a terrible app and the widget text for the word of the day is so small I can't even read it. Oxford Dictionary should pectoral themselves more, I very much enjoy the physical versions I own, the app is useless.
It loads the search very slow and not in order. You have a list of suggestions and your word might come up in the middle or the end of the list, not the first. It doesnt make a difference if you download the offline database, its still slow.
Optional subscription become "mandatory" since last update. Subscription pops up everytime when check something, if press other place other than the ads, the app shuts down! So basically I can't even use it!
VERY DISAPPOINTING! Decent dictionary from a previous century; totally lacking audio pronunciation of Russian words. Russian being rarely spoken in the West, and using the even more unusual Cyrillic alphabet, it's an EMBARRASSMENT to use in preparing for any verbal interaction!
Incredibly complete - a single word can be a noun, adjective, verb and various Russian equivalents will be given for all with the most common listed first. A must for any Russian or English student.
It's incomplete paid dictionary. When you compare it with " Reverso " dictionary you will find that Reverso is much better than Oxford dictionary because it gives meaning of each and every word with initial form as well as declension form.
Usability and features amateur level. This from "OXFORD" is simply shocking! The publisher of the OED delivering such trash is depressing! Has Oxford University Press been overtaken by "The Sun?" Hope this was a glitch! We need you!
This app speaks in English but doesn't speak in Russian. This seems like something that should be simple to do. I trust Oxford so I am very disappointed that it doesn't help me learn Russian.
The need of selecting the language to be used for search the term is needed for the app but useless in 2020. The lack of spoken audio makes the dictionary less useful for my learning needs.
İ think there should be window that is teaching why does symbols like `, /, | stands for. Usually in dictionary apps it does not exist. But not only native speaker use this app, so they do not know what does that symbols mean Thank you for attention...
Full of mistakes! I went to Sant Petersburg to study Russian, lots of friends and teachers made me notice a lot of mistakes in the dictionary. Very surprising and disappointing that Oxford has published such a flawed dictionary...
A fantastic dictionary, good value for money (and free if you don't need it offline) and easy to use.
Now that I know how easy it is to switch between E-R and R-E and use the Russian keyboard on my phone, I use this app all the time. I'm taking a Russian class.
Not user frendly. It has a search bar with the option to either write in english or russian but I can't get any answers when I write in Russian.
Money minded app.. shows more pop ups for paying them than doing any help in finding word meanings. #Uninstall.

Basically a copy-paste of the physical dictionary - contains the same words and examples, as well as the grammar points. (Of course the letter examples are omitted). Some bugs in the UI, the search function is not very well thought-out. But the vocabulary is decent. I really wish that the developers would update and improve this app. Despite the shortcomings, this is the Russian dictionary app that I use. PS. The camera feature is completely useless!
