This car rental app for gig workers is a life saver! I needed a car last minute and they were able to hook me up in minutes! If you live in SF or nearby and need a car for gig work, this is the place to get it! Super close to the Salesforce Transit Cente. You get to the garage on Minna St, grab your keys and start making $ right away. At night, just bring it back and you're done! You can also pick it up in Oakland. Thank you 🤗 guys, you're awesome!
The app itself is a complete mess and rarely works. Their customer support is passive aggressive and seems to be completely disconnected from each other and the company. Dirty cars that smell of weed and smoke, cars given with barely enough gas to get to a gas station, and cars swapped last minute without any communication. Save your time and money.
So far, very disappointing right out of the gate. App immediately crashes upon entering home address or sharing location. It's only the second step in the process and that's as far as it can take me.
Pretty cool place/platform to start on in the passenger and food pick up and deliveries! Just being patient, especially in these most trying times is the key to success! OXO offer this and more! Good luck to anyone who is truly out there in the world APPLYING themselves! Thanks OXO team!!
**Revised 11/1/2021** Originally 3 ⭐ but now All Stars ⭐ Started out rough, but OXO has been absolutely amazing to work with. Their team provides outstanding customer service. Fleet is great with newer model vehicles. If any issues arise OXO is there to help! Accommodating, caring, and supporting team members. Pricing is great best bang for you buck. Reserve with OXO you won't regret it!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. They will annihilate all of your profits with hidden fees. If you do make the detrimental mistake of trying these guys out. DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT and right when you think you have taken enough pictures. Take some more. I am being charged a horrendous cleaning fee for 2 cigarette butts which I would be completely fine paying if I even smoked cigarettes. Also 5 star reviews here or on Google are almost all apart of the company. No actual drivers.
Very simple to use. Wish the others were as easy.
I haven't used it yet. But if anyone else finds it useful it's around $50 a day to rent a car with insurance for 8 to 10 hours a day.
Spamming our neighborhoods with ads. Our neighborhood had to rip these garbage ads taped all over with masking tape. What kind of trash company does that? The app is also complete garbage.
These guys are definitely the best in the car rental biz .I highly recommend them to all gig drivers who need a car for the day..the staff at oxo are sincere and very friendly.ty guys
OXO OFFICIALLY CLOSED ITS BUSINESS OPERATIONS ON: 04/07/22 at 1AM ( San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose). I had more positive experiences than negative ones; they were especially instrumental, during some of the most difficult times of the pandemic in 2020, enabling me to work on an intermittent basis as an "essential worker" - UBERX Driver; the flexibility allowed me to continue giving the majority of my time as a volunteer caregiver to a dearly beloved friend (terminally ill) who is now deceased.
The worst mistake I've ever made I got side swipedand a car accident that wasn't my fault and they still terminated my employment after hitting me for so many hidden fees
Pretty much a predatory company thats deceptive in their advertising
STILL WAITING ON SOMEONE FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO HEADQUARTERS TO CONTACT ME ABOUT ONE OF THEIR STAFF MEMBERS IN OAKLAND THAT HIT ME YESTERDAY IN THE 14TH STREET GARAGE.
Whatever your financial resolutions and goals are for 2021 (and beyond), downloading and using the OXO app is going to help you keep 'em or reach 'em! The app will help you stay on track with all that. It has a user-friendly interface, and they are constantly working to improve it. They've been going through some growing pains the last several months and over-booking their inventory of cars. So be aware that just because you get a confirmation it doesn't ensure that you'll always get a car.
