Horrible experience. Booked a room on Oyo then went to check-in at night and the hotel manager denied check-in saying they don't have tie-up with Oyo. Called Oyo, then just kept our call on hold and disconnected after 10 min. Repeated the same twice. Was left stranded outside the hotel. Had to book another hotel at night. Never recommend this app to anyone. Never book room on OYO
Worst app that books hotel for a price on which owner refuses entry. No refund and you're end up either paying more or leaving your amount. If there was an option for even low rating, I would have given that too. Stop fooling people. Don't ask them to reach out to your email and explain the issue because days pass by and nobody cares to reply. PS: my refund is still stuck.
Pathetic experience. They showed me the discounted price while booking but the hotel denied check in asking for extra money then i cancelled the booking and asked for refund. The costomer service of this app is just horrible. I had to call several times and explain the same problem each time just to get my money back. They asked me to wait untill they look into the matter and put me on hold which lasted over 30 mins and disconnected the call without resolving the problem. Disgusting management.
Not a good experience. I asked hotel manager to reschedule my booking as my flight got canceled, he told me it cannot be done. When I asked him to allot me a neat room, he asked me my booking amount, which was less as I used a coupon, so he told me it'll be according to the amount you paid. Also I didn't got refund as my booking was canceled 10am (after 9am), as I received my flight cancelation then. CUSTOMER service person was polite but was not able to resolve my issue.
Worst experience ever. Today I pay online for my booking. The amount is deducted. But the app are showing the payment is not successful. For that I paid 2nd time by cash at hotel. Bt my online payment amount still not refunded. This is really disappointed. And I can't raise any complaint about this. There are no option on the app.
The service is very poor. If you call them it just keeps you on the IVR and does not transfer you to an agent. Even getting to an actual agent on chat is impossible. If your problem is not mentioned in their chatbot, they will not help. Very very bad experience.
Worst experience ever with Oyo app, whenever I'm booking any hotel via OYO at least price, and when I'll reach at hotel so they will try to avoid you and treat you like hell and make your experience erratic, because they do not want to accept booking in cheap price, they welcomed only walk-in cx, worst service of cx support, whenever I'll call for support they will just put the call on mute or hold and disconnect the call, worst app worst service.
Such a worst experience. Specially, travellers shouldn't rely of this fraud. Recently i visited to a state where I booked an hotel and when I reached there, they said cancelled without any information. The hotel manager stated that they have removed the bookings from Oyo but Oyo haven't updated. I was sooooo frustrated as i was traveling, tierd and in that situation i had to search for another hotel. Thanks for the hotel manager, he helped me in searching, booking the hotel.
It takes a long time for your agents to respond and then most of the time i won't get their messages either. When i close the app and reopen it later, then i get all their messages ending with this conversation is complete. How long does Oyo take to complete a refund btw? 7-14 days excluding bank holidays is what you say. I have been waiting for almost two months now.
Using the app is fairly easy, easy to navigate, easy to understand, and what's great is that i got a coupon which makes my stay at the hotel a lot cheaper than i anticipated, overall it's a good app, far from best, what i would want to be added is online banking for choice of payment next time.
Horrible experience, I booked a room and paid for it. The hotel guy calls me and tells me there are no rooms available and asks me to talk to oyo. When I request cancellation saying I was denied check in, they don't refund my booking amount and ask me to wait in queue. Edit: Modifying the rating since the issue has been resolved, but still didn't leave me with a good experience.
Worst app ever. Poor customer service and the chat feature is pathetic to say the least. Doesn't have options specific to our queries. When asked for refund, they can't even see the amount that we paid them and when they find it, it's always a mismatch. Very bad experience and the service recovery is the worst. BLVF5177.
Worst experience. Booked a hotel and the hotel denied entry. Same hotel took extra money and then allowed to stay. Since this was night time did not have any other option. Raised this issue with Oyo, but did not hear anything on this.
Worst app. Hotels often don't take reservations. Asks for paying in cash even after confirmed booking by the oyo app. But most pathetic is that the oyo support and service team are also unable to convince the hotel to provide the room and resolve the issue. Faced this issue twice. Would have given a -1 rating, but there is no option for that.
Made a booking FVMA4976 with OYO but when I reached the hotel, they said they didn't have a tie up with OYO. I am left stranded after having paid for my booking in advance. When I cancelled the booking on app, I am given a measly Rs.12 as refund instead of my full amount. The customer service number is really pathetic. Oyo why are you listing hotels in your app when you are not tied up with them. This is the worst experience I ever had with hotel check-in. I expect my full refund.
I booked a hotel with oyo and when I reached the hotel. I was told by the receptionist that they are not taking online booking. I tried calling oyo customer care and the call kept disconnecting after 7-8 minutes Every time. And I had to call again and explain everything to the new customer care executive. I wasted around 2 hours, and booked a local hotel eventually. The most pathetic part is that I had to constantly contact them and ask for refund when it was they who denied the room.
Trash management. Sold out/closed hotels are given as options. Oyo is only a scam. Hit or a miss. Please don't make any bookings using this app. You will be left stranded outside the hotel as the booking information isn't provided to the hotels.
My experience was terrible first i book with 400 something then for adding a person i pay 1116 but nothing happens. the hotel receptionist demands for another 1116 then i cancel the booking and from that day i just trying to contact but the executive can't able to help when they can't able to answer me then they just cut the call .
I have booked with booking I'd PT9F6342 But the hotel has not accepted the check in. After 1 hour of struggle to connect with customer care I got connected and finally got cancelled. It's been 30 days refund has not credited yet. And customer care team is not even answering about the query and even cutting the call in middle of the conversation. Very bad experience and poor service from Oyo. Now a days becoming too poor
Customer care services bad! One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Had booked 2 days back and still when I reached the hotel it will cost more than the price I have booked. On calling customer care I was told that I will be answered soon but after 1 hour talk still no response. I was stuck in a new city with no place to live. Absolutely pathetic from OYO. Avoid using the app unless it is a last resort and always expect unpleasant surprises if you book. i was very disappointed.....
Very bad coordination between management and hotels Telecaller and staffs are really horrible and they don't know how to manage . Worst app won't recommend anyone to use this rather go and directly book it up. Hotels provided by them are completely different from images, staff misbehaves at the property, spitted rooms, unhygienic, switches comming out, water dripping from room. Out of 5 stars I would like to give ratings in minus but the option is not available.
Hate this app and it's customer support both are pathetic. After a prepaid booking they firstly cancelled it and gave me some useless options far away from my destination. Even after selecting one of them at the time of check in hotel demads more money or cancel the booking. When i tried to reach out Oyo customer support team the took ½hour to take my call and even after that doesn't resolve my problem. Hate Oyo and its services hope never use it again in my entire life and tell others to do so.
Second time wrost experience while booking the hotel, lot of discount were given on the app but when you reached hotel, the manager will refuse to give room due to more discount offered. The customer care service is also very rude, they don't have any alternative for the problem. Oye app is a fraud don't book hotels from this app .
I made a booking and paid the total amount. When we reached at hotel the manager asked for either more money or to cancel the booking... So i decided to cancel my booking and asked for my total refund.. it just open robbery to customers by any chance they can do. Its just shameful ! I would suggest never ever book hotel from oyo!
SCAMMERS! They show discounted price for the rooms then I thought I already paid for the room then suddenly I found out I was paying for the reservation and still need to pay at the hotel at the same price of the reservation. So i canceled and here come the exciting part NO REFUND! So OYO gets a lot of money for reservation fee! Not Recommended at all! Worst Experience as a Budget Traveller!
