Can't get any further than login
This App does what it says. The user interface could do with modernising; it does not leave the user with a positive feel. The advert bar at the bottom is intrusive to the eye; could do with placing it further down and reducing its thickness. I would be happy to pay a small sum for an ad-free version. More features could be added such as a means to claim a refund on the App as well as a journey planner. I would be happy to give this App 5 stars if the above improvements were made.
Absolute waste of time, I had to create an account (fair enough) but it wont accept any if the 5 Damn passwords I have tried to create despite faithfully doing 1 which is exactly 6 digits, 1 capital and 2 numbers... computer says no. Made 1 a bit longer still with 1 caps and 2 numbers but this one was 10 digits long...computer still says no. No option to contact them to get help. Why is EVERYTHING to do with london transport totally rubbish and unworkable. Jeez, i just wanted to top up and check my balance.
Useless to bus users like me. I already have an auto top-up enabled Oyster card that I use for business journeys because I need a separate record of my business travel. I wanted an extra Oyster card for personal journeys that I could top up from the app. But the credit I have paid for on the app can only be applied to my card if I take a train or DLR journey not a bus journey. How come you can take my money off the card when I take a bus journey, but can't credit my card with the top-up value when I touch in on that same bus journey?
Impossible to log in. Refers to website when I eventually did and asked me to register cards there. You should take a look at the leapcard app(Irish equivalent). Maybe they will lend you their code.
Please fix this as I was using it before till my phone broke and I had to install everything and I was trying to log in and it wouldn't let me please please fix it. It's not only me that has problems to log in there's lots of people. Thank you for your time.
My details work on tfl website but app refuses my login and keeps pointing me to contactless registration even though I have no contactless card. App does not work.
Not letting me login ... gone onto website and changed the password and tried to log into the app and it's not working at all.. please fix I really rely on this app
Works fine but when it's not open it keeps on popping on the screen up and even making irritating popping sounds too! My partner did something so it stopped popping up but the sound is still there even when WiFi/internet is off... just SO SO ANNOYING!!! Fix it pls and get a 5*
Offers both my registered cards once logged in but always takes me to the wrong one. Then, constantly crashes. SIMPLY UNUSABLE. Now, won't export pdf files
Worked great until recently now can't login. Have checked with tfl website all details are correct something clearly wrong with app. They say to contact them before leaving negative feedback but haven't bothered to the 3 emails I have sent them.
It is impossible to log in this app. Always it says to me that there is an error. I can do it in the web but not in the app any more.
Great app in theory however it doesn't work on my device, just keeps crashing a closing as soon as I select anything.
Every time I log in cannot pass thru the initial step says error. The username and password already validated on tfl site
Just i downloaded the app today on my Samsung S7 Edge it does work perfectly. It shows me what i need to see. Balance, journeys history..
UPDATE. Have deleted this app am using online page on home screen instead. Was good for contactless but stopped working cant log on error and not being fixed since I emailed.them a few months ago. Works ok for oyster card not contactless
The app says all the time "Log Error" and i have been logged in the TFL website
Used to be OK for checking my balance. No longer able to log in, reset my password on TfL site (and logged into my account OK online) but still not able to login to the app.
I have had this app for a long time. Suddenly no longer able to login. Even though my details are correct and able to login to tfl website. Needs sorting
I've been using this app for years and had no probs till now...now it gives me an error and I have to check everything on tfl site. Please fix or tell me what to do. Many thanks
After the initial setup I experienced repeated login failures which I have just seen were meant to have been sorted out in an update. Uninstalling but would reconsider if the issues get sorted out.
Once logged in you can check your journey history and balance etc. The spend history is just as unclear as on the main site. Good enough, but could be improved.
Installed this app less than 24 ago said it would send me a email & to use link in email to activate account but no email has been sent so people don't waste your time with this app
Would be better if one can login once then switch between contactless and oyster. Good effort.
Great app. To those who can't sign in to the app, you may have to login from a browser, validate your email and validate and register your oyster card number which is behind the oyster card, top right corner, 12 digits and you may be fine.
It is one good and easy app, but you can't make all travel cards, like the one on buses&trams, we really could use this option
Says login error when I use the same login details as on the website so it is completely useless.
