Ozobot Evo

Won't connect. Only connected on 1/3 phones. All Android 9. Contacted support, followed suggestions, nothing changed. My experience with customer support was great. It seems the issues lie with Android low energy Bluetooth. Hopefully this improves.

Doesn't connect to Android devices. Talked to tech support and they know there is an issue with Android devices and they say they are working on it. So unless you have an apple product, you will not be able to pair with your ozobot until they fix this. Wish I had known that before dropping $100 on the product.

I have same problem as many others -- cannot enter password on login screen, so I can no longer get the programs created on the web onto the phone to quickly send to Evo via bluetooth. Was a good app before this new bug.

It's a really good concept but the app for Android Phones is terrible. The only thing I can do is remote control the Ozo. I got back into this because I wanted to program it with block code but you can't do that with phones.

Hard to connect and impossible to update firmware. App has no way of canceling firmware update either. Three stars, but I'm not sure how useful it actually is.

Educational My daughter (8 years old) is learning to Bit Code, she has taken to it incredibly fast. I am teaching her basic JAVA Script so she has an understanding as to the type of language this particular form of Bit Coding is written. Great Teaching...fun no matter how old you are. Can't wait for an upgrade ;) great job!!! to the creator and support team.

Smart idea but it always has issues connecting or even finding the ozobot. My son gets so frustrafed trying to play with it. It shouldn't be this complicated especially after we paid so much money for the damn thing. oh qnd it keeps telling to update it, when we already have done it.

I'm sure the app is great but we can't get it to work on my daughter's tablet (which it should work on according to the requirements in the play store). I emailed support and got a response back the next business day but nothing really since then. Please support, don't ghost me!

Good app. Whenever one goes into a topic within the app, the "x" close button doesn't work so you can't go back to the main menu.

I am so frigging annoyed that the this doesn't connect to Android, and this is a known issue that has been around for months... and they continue to advertise this as android compatible. This is a birthday present for a kid who can not use it. I'm going to make writing one-star reviews for this project my personal project, along with reporting to BBB -- these guys are so unethical. Anyway, if you don't have an apple phone, don't buy this.

Connects only from iPhone. Doesn't work with Android. According to support a known recent issue. Lets see how fast they will be to deliver the fix. For now one star.

Great when it worked but now I can't even login. Keyboard won't pop-up when clicking on password but works when clicking on username. Additionally, I can't connect to the Ozobots like before.

Simply put, worthless at this point. Why? Incredible to think but, it does NOT connect to the ozobot Evo when using on Android. If the most basic, fundamental operation doesn't work, you have a worthless app. Can't understand how a developer would not test before publishing.

Doesn't connect to Ozobot Evo on 2 new Samsung phones. On old Lenovo tablet it connects but app immediately crashes. On new Lenovo tablet works Ok. So works on 1 out of 4 devices, which is quite terrible.

Doesnt work on new Android phones. Works on older Android, works on iOS. Once fixed I will adjust the rating. So far it is a bummer.

Really a good educational system but it has several limitations: Finally the long-standing bug with firmware update endless loop was fixed a little but now when we check for a new firmware the app still says that there is one although we have the latest installed. Also the system of composing the username from list of words is really annoying. You have to try many combinations until you find a free one. The system should offer the free combinations instead. The reset passw. procedure is broken.

Good, I like it, but like almost everyone, I have trouble connecting evo, please fix this problem, anyways, one of the best coding apps if you do not mind "unconnection"

The problem may be that you have the Ozobot "bit" and not the Ozobot "Evo," because the app only connects to Evos for some reason. If that's not it, I'm not sure what the problem is.

It is good,it just need more updates for the bot and the app.It needs more games and a improved level system.I like the ozoblockly coding.

piece of garbage, wouldn't connect to any ozobots, and once I created an account it crashed whenever I opened the app.

Bluetooth as a tech is unstable. Better if they also had a USB based firmware update process

Using Samsung Galaxy Tab...bluetooth can not find the Ozobot. No connection. Kinda frustrating.

The app has a clunky UI and refuses to connect to both my account and a bot an overwhelming majority of the time.

Not even one star cant connect to my ozobot on android this is kinda weird and if it's not really good because even if its gonna get updated to connect i need to get another one and im not buying another one

Terrible. As soon is it connects, it stops working and closes out. How are my kids supposed to play with their ozobot if the app doesn't even work? 😠😠😠

This app is terrible, why can't they make an app for the bit users, or allow bit users to use the app too. I am a bit user and I hate this app because it doesn't use bit. I will never use this app again😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I think it is great to have a tiny robot. because you can't take a large robot in your pocket but you can fit evo in a pocket.

😥 This is really an iOzobot - only works with Apple devices. Not a great impression for little programmers!

Update freeze loop still going on. I have 2 Evo that "need" an update. By the way this review is for the app, not the robot.

This app crashes every single time I try to open it. My kids are disappointed.
