P&D Helper
P&D Helper is a powerful and fully parameterizable app that will help you solve difficult boards in Puzzle and Dragons.
Launch the overlay app and get ready to solve some boards!If you have Android 5.0+ (Lollipop, Marshmallow), well good for you, you can solve the board WITHOUT taking any screenshots ! Just press the solve button and wait a few moments before you see the ideal path appearing on screen, on top of the board.If you don't, you're going to need to take a screenshot, that will be automatically processed by the app and the path will appear on screen just as well!
Almost everything in the app can be adjusted!
- You can interact with the overlay app itself : you can choose to minimize or expand it, you can set an invisible background for an even more unobtrusive overlay, and you can move the overlay around (in height) to view or access something hidden!
- You can adjust a lot of options : you can set the maximum path length, or the maximum number of combos wanted, the path number scaling (sacrifice some time to get better solutions) and you can also enable a timer that will automatically clean the overlay path after a few seconds.
- You can select the best profile to fit your team : you can choose between a lot of premade profiles (color, common leaders, ...) with options like tpa or rows, or you can make your own custom profiles for a perfect fit (Choose your color priorities, and your leader skills)!
The app will detect automatically the type of board (7x6, 6x5, 5x4), and once the solutions are computed, the ideal path will be drawn on screen. But you still can browse the other solutions computed, and sort them (by path length, combos, or color).

I had to use my grandma phone to leave this review 😂 i stopped using android almost 2 years ago and I recently picked puzzles and dragon again on my iPhone and I was searching through the app store looking for this app still ain't there are we ever gonna get pdhelper on IOS?
I couldn't get the 7x6 to work and started checking the options. I decided to test the subscription servive and I have to say that it is 100% worth it. Board size and most orb types are no issue now. It solves in seconds and does pretty well. Using this app I'm getting much better with learning how to link combos and pull off crazy numbers on my own. I love my training wheels 😃
This might be great if i could get it to work. First an info screen covers the controles i cant get rid of. Then when asked to allow overlays the cancel button works but the allow bottom does not forcing me to cancel, where im reminded the app will not work without overlays.
Great app, unfortunately there's an issue with 7x6 boards on my pixel 5a. Looks like some type of resolution issue - the line I'm supposed to trace is in a slightly higher position than it should be. Would definitely be 5/5 if this ever gets fixed.
Wish there was a way to make custom profile to practice crosses for off element types. Great app. practicing with this has definitely helped me be able to see potential combos on a board and get my combo count up.
Great app. But while PAD is only on apple now. With the inclusion of using apk to get the game on android. It would be favorable to have an apple version client for the IOS series where the game is readily available.
4 stars only becauss no square option, other than that i freaking love this app! i am absolutely terrible at making combos on my own lmao, i play for collecting and this has helped so much

I can do 7 combos plus without this app but it's more useful for me when I only have 5 sec. It's really helpful :)
Please enable path for cross and update preset leader list. There is no Diablos team.

Horrible couldn't even use and installed 2 time. Honestly waste of space
those solver is very slow and often produce a solution worse than my own...its still so kuch worse than puzzcombo after all these years since their discontinuation. Disappointed.

Great app for solving boards, especially being to pick starting orbs and/or the starting path for up to 25 moves. Minor problems with orb detection in color blind mode, but easy to manually change color. Overall great app, would definitely recommend if you're struggling with a tough board or combo counts.
I keep getting a calibration error, shows nothing on screen EDIT: Got fixed same day as I emailed the creator.
I love this thing, I was able to rack up more combos in one move than ever!

Edit: You we're correct I use the Razer Phone and it was going into a night mode it didn't give me any notification and I didn't notice it myself. This app is great and so is this developer! A manual screen mapping would still be cool but wouldn't be needed in alot of cases. Was good for about a day but it suddenly became off centered so it was a row and a half off. A mapping option would be amazing.
Works well, it helps get amazing combos and typically gets around a 6-8 combo.
What is a number scaler and how does it work?
I didn't set it up but straight away I'd easily get 6 or more combos. Before I'd maybe get 3. Only messed up first turn because i didn't reset it properly and repeated the course.
Fantastic app. Helps when you get in a bind and offers a great deal of manual manipulation for trying to tweak for your set up. Developer is very responsive to inquiries.
Can't believe there is a tool this robust made for the game. Looking through the solutions is really enlightening, and can help improve your game play.
I've used this for awhile now, and it has taught me to see the boards differently on my own. I'm very slowly improving. When I first began using the helper, I ran it constantly because when I tried to combo I would always mess up my board so that I'd get only maybe 5 or 6 combos without a board change. This app has fulfilled its purpose for me in teaching me to be a better player. Thank you.
