The app is much improved from before but it still has problems. The time selection screen doesn't show you the end time. And if you hit next to see the end time, and then back out, it resets the time and you have to pick it from scratch all over again. Also, the name of this app is really bad because "mobile service" describes 95% of the apps in the Play Store. Does Montreal parking think they're the only app that's providing a mobile service? Choose a unique name!

Avoid running back to the pay station on time to buy extra time: check. Pay for park meter in the comfort of your car, office or home: check. By never pretending to achieve much more than that, this app works does a good job, give or take a few crashes now and then (mostly after the phone has been in sleep mode). With these objectives reached, one question pops into my mind: "you're this close to being a really convenient app, why not not go the extra meter and a half?" Sure, there's a option to set a reminder that will notify you 10 min ahead of time. No bells or whistles, just a notification on your lock screen along with all the other ones from the same app, still remaining from previous uses. I like to keep my notifications muted. I guess I need to find a way to create an exception for this app. Furthermore, 10 minutes is just enough for one to think "oh I still got a little while"... and forget altogether again that your time is up! Sure there's an option to extend your parking session but what it really does is start fresh with a new round at the expense of your paid-for, remaining minutes of the one ongoing! Why not have an option to pay automatically?

Poor UI, when outside of the tariffed periods it doesn't tell you that you don't habe to pay because it's now free, no it gives you an error message like This parking space is unavailable or something like that. Bad name, I can never remember the name of your app whenever I try to find it on my phone, could you just put the name parking in it, please? Although I do like the fact that you can click on a recent parking spot very useful. Also a map feature would be very good to find available spots

The app works ok. It does help, but it happened that it crashed on me while I make the payment. So the payment doesn't go through. You need to start over Otherwise you might end up not paying. Also it crashed while opening it. So it has some issues. Dev team needs to check this out. Also, I would recommend to add a button to re-pay for the same parking spot, instead of starting all over again from withing the action session.

This app has slowly improved over time. It's still a little rough around the edges. My main gripe in the current version: it only has one error message, "parking is not permitted in this spot at this time! Check signage" which it spits out whenever you can't pay for parking, even when it's during a free parking period. It should be smart enough to tell the difference between periods when parking is forbidden, and when parking is allowed and free and free of charge.

Really useful app, I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for a big annoying flaw: If you park your car during a moment when it's free to do so, it will say "Not available". The same as when it's forbidden to park. So you have to figure out if you actually can park or not on your own. Would be much better if it simply said "Free parking until X o' clock" or "Parking forbidden".

App works in general. Sometimes it doesn't always sync with the city's on going changes. I wish the App allowed us to extend the current timer as opposed to opening a new timer... Offen, i end up paying double for the overlapping time if my appointment needs to be extended by fee minutes. (Or pay more for the time i don't need). I understand it maybe less lucrative for you but it'd be nice if you could give the user the option to extend further or to end the session early. Thanks.

Easy application, I've been with this site for years. If I don't have the coin or I'm a distance away, it's the perfect solution. I recommend it to my visitors coming to Montreal for the experience but not the worry of continuing to think about returning to their car to feed the meter. It's a safe and confidential site that will be hassle-free, guaranteeing that your day is filled with adventure taking in the great city's diversity in restaurants and activities. Every city should have a system

Overall very usefull app but could you please make a second reminder when the parking expires !? comon you know that people are going to forget to put it back because already you can't even add time to the current parking or you loose the remaining time. I know that everyone thinks of that and nobody says anything. At minimum we only ask to add the reminder when it expires i'm sure you guys can add it in a second !

This has got to be the stupidest app on this planet. I got a notification 10 minutes before my session expired that my parking will be up in 10 minutes. But when I went into the app, it doesn't allow me to extend the session. Meaning you have to sit and watch the clock run for 10 minutes until you can renew your parking. Either give the notification 30 seconds before the session expires, or add the ability to freaking extend your covered parking session. Morons.

Two big dislikes about this app: First, the reminder is set to 10 minutes prior to expiry. Hilarious and useless. Maybe two minutes or one minite prior to expiry is better. Second, no way to extend your parking period. If you pay again, it starts a new parking session ignoring your remaining time. Seems to me this app was designed with the city's best interest and not its tax payers'. Go check out how the same service in Ontario works: Sends you a 4 min reminder and ability to extend.

The app can fail in important ways. It claims to notify you when there's <10 min left in your parking session. However, on many occasions I've opened the app to pay for more time, only to find my session has already expired, never having received a notification. Only after opening it am i belatedly informed that my session "will expire in 10 minutes". Also, sometimes the app says a spot is not available even though it is, forcing you to pay manually at the booth.

This is one of the best organized scams in Montreal. If the person before you paid for two hours but leaves before, that spot was paid for. Back in the days were you paid with coins you can see the green flag that the parking spot was paid and you can take it or add to it. Too bad young Generations do not remember that.

The app does not send punctual warnings 10 minutes prior to expiry of payment. It will warn you whenever you decide to open your screen and tell you that your parking has expired 10 mins before. Very unreliable. Have received a ticket because of this unreliability today, and have only escaped it by luck in the past. I hope the problem will soon be fixed since I do not want to have to pay for another ticket because of the dysfunctionality of the app. It worked on an older Huawei phone I had, but does not seem to function properly on the p20 pro despite me reinstalling it a few times.

Great, this being an application it would be nice to have an option to add per example if I'm at the movie the parking end 40 minutes before the movie I have to either go out or disturbe the other to do it then. Other than this it works great very simple & the service fee is very reasonable.

Very convenient app! No more running out to feed the meter. The fact that they even lowered the transaction fee to .07$ was great. Only suggestion I can make is to make it possible to extend the time on the meter before the current session expires.

It's a convinient way to pay Montreal parking. The app is warning you 10 minutes before your parking time expirstion so you could prolong it. The app also warns you about the applying spot time rules and avoid you paying when it's free parking hours/day. The only difficults I recall is login and first time regisrering process which were not that straight forward and had issues which I hope improved since.

the app is good for making payments but never notifies you when you time is up. sometimes it does and most of the times it does not. i have to put an alarm as a reminder. it's as if they made it on purpose so you forget and get tickets. For that I give it 1 star!

Love this app. It is very convenient to not need to walk back to a parking spot when additional time is needed. The only recommendation I would make is a feature to allow to add additional time with the 10 min reminder.

Love this app! Makes things soooo much easier. The only reason why not 5 stars is because the UI could be better and there are crashes sometimes. Completely closing and reopening the app will usually work though.

It's a monopoly, and the app does what it says it will do. Lacks important features like "add time to session" and "end session to free up space for someone else".

Works great, much cheaper than previous app for fees. For all people complaining about the app not letting you add time, that is how the municipality chose to do it, just like the parking meters work physically. If you find this appaling, complain to the municipality, not in the app, which does a great job of what they were asked to do.

Super convenient app. Very easy to manage parking but I wish we had the option to pre-pay rather than wait until the parking expires. But otherwise this app makes life so easy !

Exceptional service in my opinion. Such ease of use and so practical. Don't have to leave my office or any other place to go to refill the meter. Just need this app and it does it for you. Like i said very practical. Love it!!!

Easy app to use to pay for parking in Montreal. Just select time and forget, you get a notification when your space expires and saves recently used spots so it is easy to renew your spot. App also has a low convenience fee which allows you to save time finding a parking meter!

The default for notifications, a honking horn noise and blocking your screen, is really dangerous. Especially for people who use their cell phone mounted in their car to navigate. I would expect better.

Failure for payment today on both cards. Same thing with another person using their phone and app to pay for my spot. Incompetence!!! Also my preference was English....today it opened up in French. Tried re loading 2 crédit cards. Accepted but could not complete payment

Very easy to use, but one major flaw: app does not let you extend a paid period. you need to either let it expire and pay for a new session , or pay for a new session during the current one.
