Really crappy move releasing separate apps for mobile and TV. Controls lag on my Nexus Player using the official Asus gamepad. Weird overscan issue where if adjusted so that all the screen is visible, it leaves a black band about 5% of the screen wide on the left and bottom of the screen, and this needs to be done on every app start. Come on Namco, I expect a lot more from you. Pacman 256 is perfect, but it's from Hipster Whale.
I downloaded this for the Nvidia Shield Console and it was a a very fun game with lots of unique challenges and customizable mazes and sprites. But I had to use the D-pad to play as the left stick doesn't respond most of the time. If you have the Nvidia Shield Console, I'd recommend you download this game.
Probably the best game available that you can play with the TV remote. Cheeky to sell the TV version separately to the standard one, though.
edit: data loss broke mine but it's fixed and I beat it... super fun!
This is great pac-man game for Android TV.
I love this title on my XBox 360, but on the Nexus Player, it is virtually unplayable due to extremely unresponsive controls. I understand that there needs to be some challenge, and I can see that there are some aspects to the controls involved that cause tight turns to be difficult, but that should NEVER be in this game. It is goddamned Pac-Man. It is a game that takes place in a maze with sharp turns that REQUIRE precision, NOT slackish controls. This needs to be fixed.
