Fight three of the major sea battles of WW2 pacific. Fly the Avenger, Corsair and Hellcat (or Zero, Kate and Judy for I.J.N.) while commanding recon, patrol and strike flights to their destination from multiple carriers. Action packed you'll be jumping from cockpit to cockpit to save the day. Fly in formation as a bomber or protective fighter escort, fly recon to spot enemy fleets so you can order strike flights at them specifying aircraft and weapon types for bombers and escorts.
The fight is on in generated single missions and in three historic major battles:
- Battle of Santa Cruz
- Battle of Eastern Solomons
- Battle of Midway
Make strategic decisions about flights depending on weapons and planes left on the carriers, consider flight times and weigh your options over defensive and offensive action. 3 seconds later you are looking around from the cockpit again: enough with the radio, lets jump another set of enemies!
Consider the weather and visibility, and don't expect daytime to last forever as night, dusk and dawn will challenge your orientation, navigation and situation awareness skills.
Just when you think your done you'll be faced with landing on a carrier mid-storm in bad visibility. Having survived the whole ordeal, did you do well enough to earn a medal?

Still one of the best, no one can copy the potential of this game, after all these years all they have achieved is a regular aerial dogfight kind of games, but this has so much more potential. The best about this is the strategy part and you being able to be one of any plane you deploy. I hope you make a sequel to this with better graphics, physics, controls and mechanics.
It's a really cool game, I love it! I was wondering you guys can add some details to the planes, have historical ships instead of the ships that you have in the game (Include the Montana class please), and some texture to the ocean, land with trees and the buildings. Wish you guys the best of luck to make these improvements!
Needs a custom battle editor where you can make task force compositions and also a generated mission where the objective is to fully destroy the enemy fleet to win. This game is really good and the graphics fits it and doesnt need changing. However there needs to be some fixes with the hitboxes since rounds go through the wings without doing any damage
Its a really good game and i really love playing it. Simple graphics and simple gameplay. The only problem is when i pressed accept in the box dialogue on the start, its just black screen. But when i turned on my wifi/internet connection/data connection, it starts... I dont know why it starts with wifi but dont without wifi. I thought this game is offline? Plss answer... Although its not a really big problem for me, i still play and enjoy the game😀
Graphics can be better, but overall a very good game, enemies are actually tough, they fight back and even retreat of necessary, unlike some games where one plane can take on 50 enemies which removes the realism, First person perspective is nice touch, I really enjoy this game.
Just a week ago I encountered a odd thing there were two of the same for every ship it was funny had a great time also I've been playing this for over 2y so I figured I'll write a review although there are some acasing that when records will be either cut half and the other half would be in an unknown file that can't be opened but the app works fine
Love the Original, but this C.E. version: Can't tell ships apart! Not marked well enough, words/symbols too small to read. Need to use same method as original PNF. Background is mostly too dark, even in day, to see targets, and same for flying bullets. Everything! needs to be made more visible.
Love the game, BUT, it would be more realistic, and it would make more sense to be able to have the ability to launch ALL of the aircraft as needed. Makes no sense to be able to only lauch only some of the aircraft. Fix that, and I'll give 5 🌟's
This is my dream game! Man, why developer abandoned such a masterpiece that have a lot potential.. very addictive, a new mechanical gameplay for me, and yeah only just a little snap for this game, voila! It'll probably a perfect game for the phone, and please make an update about new mission, new scenario, new place that's not just in the middle sea of nowhere! Thanks
I have been on and off this game for years. I would say it hasn't been updated, which is sad. I will say it's design isn't historically accurate as far as loadouts and ships are concerned, but the three battles they touch on is spot on. Nicely reseached.
Pretty great, good controls and war...but the maneuvers are limited. still great tho. imagine the potential of this game! Idk why the devs stopped if they wanted to. they could make thousands of dollars if they update the graphics and bring in more planes and options.
Unplayable. I've been waiting for 5 minutes to get this black screen out of the way but nothing is happening. It doesn't even rotate to landscape when i open the app.
great game to kill time and very addicting. I wish there were more units tou are able to control such as the ships. And a mode to set up battles like a sandbox mode. and to include land units as well. there are so many opportunities for this game to get better!
This is one of the most fun I've ever had playing a ww2 game. The graphics are great and the there are always new missions in the generated missions option. I recommend this game to people who want to fill a fun fighter pilot experience.
Yo ive been playing this game for over 2 years now and I want to see it improve and updated like, make it realistic for example:Aircrafts line up on Aircraft Carrier for full strike but if the carrier gets hit and sinks the planes fall to the water and if the carrier's deck is on fire there would be a repair crew attempting to repair the deck while the ship is retreating and also some different plane destruction not the same thing everytine like the plane sometimes gets its wing off when its sht
The graphics may be not as good but the gameplay is. It's games like this and GTA S.A. thrives on. Everything is perfect already. I just wish, if the developers are still into this app, that they make a remastered graphics for this game.
Great game for a free game. People are complaining that they wish it did this, they wish it did that! The game is free and runs pretty well with very little interruptions. It's not historically accurate according to one reviewer, if that's what you need to enjoy a game then go pay for one. The game is well made, enjoyable and FREE.
amazing looks alright runs very well very fun shooting down planes and ship however the only probablem is the controls if there was a joy stick option rather than only tilt controls game would be a bit nicer just change that, nothing else the rest of the game is alright the way it is
It's really fun to play but i just wish the graphics are little better and could play more mission in it. Also another thing there should be a mode to build your own maps like this should be added.
Don't expect much from this game but this is one of the best time wasters out there. As a WW2 fanatic, this is the only offline game that I enjoy since there are no in game purchases and currency systems. Worth the space and bad graphics.
This game is so underrated. I've had so much fun playing this, it feels like playing a PS2 game that was ahead of its time. I dont think the low graphics ruin the gameplay, personally, I love the way it looks. Runs well, and I would recomend playing this.
Version 1.3.4. is the one I installed, and all because the newer updates don't open without Internet connection (The screen goes black after accepting the license dialog). Even so, the game is still good. I just hope the problem of newer versions will be fixed, plus a few more types of aircrafts, historical battles, as well as land airstrip launching aside from aircraft carrier would make the game even more better (if this game isn't abandoned by the developer).
