All in all very much what it promises to be! easy to use. would be cool if you could mark items as not to be suggested permanently (e.g. deleting the contact lenses suggestion if you don't wear contacts and don't want to delete it each time a list is generated for you). I'll definitely use it when I travel, makes life less stressful!

Absolutely love this packing list generator! I've used it several times, and I'm finally reading it five stars. It even has categories where you can automatically add things for a fancy dinner, a gym workout, swimming, business, and much more! Even if you close the app, the list is still there. Just check off as you go...

Very uncomfortable to use. No provisions for multiple people (eg. packing a family of two, three etc). Completed items are still visible, to-do items do not pop to the top, so you have to scroll through long lists searching for them (and if your lists are not long, you really don't need an app for this). I hope for improvements, idea is good.

I'd like to be able to have a free trial of 48 hours or one list. I don't mind paying for the app. It seems to be exactly what I am looking for now that 'out of milk' doesn't copy lists anymore. I am testing multiple apps to see which is best. Wouldn't like to pay for testing. Also in the generated list I can't seem to delete things. I don't have contact lenses so I would rather delete them than cross them off. Maybe it's not intuitive, maybe it is an unlock-feature.

Too basic to really be of any real use. I selected business trip, for example, and it didn't give me a selection of tech to bring, like my laptop. Who doesn't bring a laptop on a work trip? Also, there's no facility to add quantity. I know I need to bring socks, but I want to list how many pairs. In the Essentials category for women, it didn't even list moisturiser. This app is all about getting a list together quickly and easily, but it won't happen without a lot of customising first.

I like it, but in the "Customize activities" screen it would be nice to be able to edit an item (ex. misspelling or want to add a word) instead of having to completely delete it and re-enter it. It would also be great to rearrange items in this screen instead of going to the main page of the trip. Minor inconveniences, but pretty annoying.

Great app. Love the customization ability. Would love to be able to drag and rearrange the list items in the template not just in the trip view. This will make it easier when packing for future trips. It would also be nice to duplicate an existing template when creating a new activity if many of the items are the same but may just need some modifications so you don't have to recreate the entire list. Some new icons would be nice too! Overall, very user friendly and helpful

Love this app! The ONLY app I've ever paid for. Totally worth it, I really appreciate how customizable the lists are! The developer's customer service is excellent as well, I had an issue with the full version transferring to my new phone so I emailed them. A very helpful gentleman responded almost immediately, and quickly helped me figure out how to transfer it. Two thumbs up!

I tried this one because it has the highest rating (4.7) and is the editor's choice. I am uninstalling it because you can not edit the travel dates and more importantly you can not edit the preset list you are provided with based on the categories you choose. All the extra items I don't need is distracting and time consuming which I don't need as a last minute packer! I am using PackKing instead, which has more flexibility regarding the concerns discussed above.

As far as functionality goes, it's great, but the basic, non-customised lists could do with some work. I checked the lists against the "Ultimate Packing List" online and they seemed to be missing some pretty basic items - soap? Shampoo? I like to customise and check lists to the nth degree so for me it's not an issue, but if you're a "set it and forget it" type, you might run into some issues.

Wow! I was trying to make lists in a spreadsheet and a to do app. After finally getting it set up, I couldn't duplicate it. Now I don't even need to because the list builds itself and even checks the weather. I haven't even checked out all the features, but so far one of the most convenient apps I can imagine.

Tim. H. Sep 18, 2021

Not a bad app. However it doesn't appear possible to edit trip details!! Pretty damn annoying that if your plans change you need to start a new packing list rather than just editing the trip details. This is on the premium version too!!! Edit, very poor selection of icons on prem version for customising activities!! Can't reorder items in custom lists. App is a good start but feels very basic and underdeveloped.

Update: I emailed to ask for help and they were very responsive. The solution is obvious in retrospect – clear the app's storage in the Android system. Original: I really enjoy the app, but I got a little carried away with customizing my packing lists. I would like to restore the default settings, but I can't find a way to do so. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it remembers my settings, even though I wasn't asked to sign in and can't find a way to sign out.

I bought both premium apps on my Android phone and my Ipad. Impossible to imports the modified list of the other device. You can only export to Evernote. Even if you have Evernote on both devices, you cannot import from Evernote. There are some grocery apps that are doing a much better job by beeing inter connected and when you add or remove an item from a list, all the other devices receive the change immediately. This app needs a lots of improvement before it gets higher score

This is a simple app for you to select items to add to your list. Then it puts it into a format for you to share to others. I was expecting more, like a checklist format at least, or a way to reorder items apart from their set activity categories. Not sure if those features are included on the paid version, but they weren't included on the free one. It's ok for what it is, faster than using a word doc, but I will be trying a different app.

Iri. Jun 14, 2021

I paid for the premium version, and my card was charged, but I didn't get the premium version. It keeps asking me to pay. Edit: closing and opening the app relsolved the issue. The app is OK so far, but you can't edit item names (have to delete and re-enter instead), which is infinitely annoying. Multiple activities give duplicate items.

Eri. B. May 15, 2019

I like the customizablity of this app (with the paid version), and I really like the widget feature. However, when customizing the items in certain activities, it would be nice to be able to rearrange the order (so I don't have to do that every time the list is generated), and it would be nice to edit the names of items that have already been created for an activity. It would also be nice to set some items as "wear" to indicate you will be wearing it the day you leave.

Pix. A. Apr 23, 2020

Not sure why this is an Editors Choice. Confusing and unintuitive interface. Cumbersome to add items to a list. Not easy to view packing categories. No simple way to back up data (e.g. to Google Drive or Dropbox) should you change phone (not interested in the premium version which may let you back up but ALSO requires you to have Evernote!). Worst of all, you can't edit or even view packing list categories or items unless you create a trip first. How dumb is that! Some people make frequent business trips to various cities and may wish to edit their categories without having to jump the hurdle of creating a trip first. I don't need an app to check the season, weather, make suggestions or asking a series of questions about my travel plans (what information you wish to complete should be down to the user, not forced by the app!!). What I DO need is basic useful packing app functionality with a straight forward user interface. Overall, terrible, probably THE worst packing app I've ever tried. The search continues for a decent packing app, something like Packing Pro for IOS.

I was looking for a simple list to use as a reminder. I paid for the app and there are no icons and the ones you have to select from are not in color, they resemble stick drawings. I don't know why you are readouts to select icons with custom categories since they don't show up. But the most annoying thing is I see no option to turn off the bleep every time I select an item. That alone is reason for me to request a refund.

D. K. Aug 5, 2019

Great and useful for packing for trips. Links to tripit which is very useful to sync the trip info. What I would really like to see in future versions is the ability to backup or sync our customised packing list to the cloud so that if I change phone I can get this back. Right now I have to manually enter each item into a new phone. Still, I rely on this app heavily for every trip given how forgetful I am!

Chr. C. May 13, 2022

Weird suggestions, missing lots of important items. The "occasions" are limited, weddings are missing for example. For a recent two night trip, the app suggested packing SIX BLOUSES, 2 skirts and 2 pairs of pants!! It's like a 70 year old person or a man created this app and it's not very customizable.

Lel. M. Nov 29, 2021

If you accidentally swipe an item, the app removes it from your list and you can't re-add it. You need to delete the entire trip and start over. For instance, I swiped "cell phone" and it wouldn't let me re-add it because it's "already an essential item." Dumb.

Joe. D. Jul 7, 2021

Pretty good but a few things could be added to make it more user friendly. - Being able to edit and re-order custom lists rather than having to delete and re-add items. - Being able to choose all icons for custom lists (If you delete the pre-made ones you can't get those icons back e.g sun, snowflake etc).

Mae. N. Apr 16, 2022

It's good and comes with preset lists. I paid so I can customise but there isn't much customisation I can do. It'd be very helpful to be able to sort by alphabetical order because now I need to scroll the whole list to see if I need to add any item.

Fra. C. Dec 22, 2018

its a good reminder app but i wish i could edit out the thing i do not use (eye glasses etc) i also wish i could export the list to a calendar event or populate a list of things that are going on in the area that i am traveling to. other than that i enjoy the interface and it is very easy to use.

Est. T. Aug 31, 2020

In general, I like the app, it is straight forward and easy to use. I keep losing my custom lists becauase there is no cloud backup. The existing options won't let me login from mobile. It would be great if there are more common cloud backup options like Onedrive, Google or Facebook.
