Packtor - Packing List Creator

I've used packtor before for other trips and liked it. The penult l pre built list helped remind me of additional things to think about, buti made a list and todo for an upcoming trip and packtor has wiped my list. Multiple api error. Try to submit at bug/request, more api errors, logged out and back in. Nope can't log in, api error. Even their website if now throwing you errors, I have completely lost or locked out of my list for my trip... Time to come up with a new list in a new app.

Great little helper! Everything well thought and working, easy to use, no frills, no bugs. The app creates a packing list based on travel destination, duration, weather etc. It's a well-thought list with everything necessary on it. But if you need to you can change the name of every item or group of items with just one click, to adjust it. While you are packing you can tick the boxes and make the items disappear and if you share your list with your travel companion, you can do this together.

Helpful and effective! It has suggestions of things to pack based on where we're going, when, and for how long.... some things I hadn't thought of! Love the organization that this app affords me! Only issue is that. as more stuff gets packed, it keeps unpacking those items.... I'm constantly re-checking off stuff I've already checked off... it's frustrating.

Want a new feature? Pay another fee. Want more than five packing lists? Pay another fee. Want to go on a different type of trip? Pay another fee. Like all other packing apps I've examined, there is not a "search" or "find" feature, which makes it difficult to determine whether or not a particular item is on one's packing list. What a disappointment!

App stopped functioning. I was trying to pull up my list from last year and it flashes for a second then goes away. I see the list online when I log in, but it won't transfer to the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still nothing. I paid to upgrade it and it was exactly what I wanted when it worked.

Pretty useless without paying for premium, and no option to trial. I guess if you totally want to no brain it and pay for something you can get for free with a Google search, this would work, but there are much better free options available. Uninstalling.

This app is good made & comes with a good design. But the features Are very restricted. You can't create own templates/activities. But you can buy them for 1€ each. E.G. the activity camping & hiking cost EUR 2. Also users with free account get annoyed with full screen ads which aren't immediately closable. That's not user friendly! Please offer an one time purchase for users which then can create activities or templates as much as they want.

Not bad. I would like to see an ability to move items between categories in the same packing list. Other than that, so far it's basic, and very close to what I wanted. Easily edit or delete the items that were preset in the list.

I can no longer retrieve my lists in the app, the app continually re-adds items to my packing lists when they have already been checked off, the only feature I really like is that I can share these lists with another user.

I have search very long for an app like this and now that i finaly found it, it keeps throwing me out when im editing my list for the family. I will give it a 5 star if that issue can be fixed.

Tried 4 to 5 apps before settling with this. Serious suggestion for improving: After you have done through the app for a particular trip, provision should be available for consolidated list instead of a tick-marked bulky list.

You will love packtor. It has made my packing lists so easy. Before I used Google docs, now I use packtor and it is so easy and user friendly.

Love this - only one thing would make me love it more: if I was able to import lists. otherwise it's great.

Camping is a premium feature. No thanks, uninstalled.

I thought this was the best of the packing apps I'd tried but sadly not. It keeps unpacking items for me! I'll tick items as packed, then when I go back or exit the app and return to it it says that I need to pack items I'd ticked earlier. I've just come back from a trip and had packed everything so should've been on 100% packed, but it's currently showing 71% packed. Not happy as I've paid to remove ads and I feel like I've wasted my money as the app is currently useless.

It's okay. I've been struggling to find a packing app that (1) allows you to easily add custom items, (2) allows you to have custom sub-lists, (3) is easy to use, (4) isn't riddled with adds, (5) allows you to check off items, and (6) looks somewhat decent. Packtor does one, two, five, and looks moderately okay, but it's harder to use that it should be. It also has intrusive ads that pop up while I'm in the middle of typing. Adding items and rearranging items feels like a challenge, especially when you need to edit or change the quantity of an item. But it's the only packing app that does what I need it to do otherwise, so I give it props for that.

the app has stopped syncing with the web interface. i selected a 'contact' option to ask for help, but get an error and can't contact them. any ideas? update: thank you! all is working well now!!

Can't sign in despite right credentials. Can't recover a new password. Only works on desktop...

This app is fairly functional, but there are much better apps (such as PackTeo) which do the same things in better or more intuitive ways. Pactor makes me fill in irrelevant or unimportant information before I can start making a list - and many of the options are put behind a pay wall. That's fine, it's a free app, but why should I have to input where I'm staying?

Does what it sets out to do clearly and simply. Easy to use and to share. I don't seem to be able to get sections to stay where I move them when I rearrange them, but that's a minor gripe.
