Pact | Car Insurance

I love it. everybody else was trying to hit me with $200/month, mind you I have no points on my license, 0 at fault accidents and just 2 seat belt tickets. Found this app and I'm paying much less for full coverage. where was this company when I got my first car! One suggestion, give us the option to pay in the app versus calling to speak to someone that would be really convenient.

When I first got pact, it was the best rates I could find. Until two months ago when the cost nearly tripled. I went from paying 30 something a month to 80 something a month, and when I called to find out why they said policy changes and it would be that way for at least a year. That's fine, I went to liberty and I'm now paying less for two vehicles than I was for just one. Customer service was always friendly and helpful but raising the rates that much with no warning is ridiculous

Their ads and whatnot claim you can "pause" your insurance when you're not using it "and save". That's a nice feature and since I drive a company vehicle 95% of the time, it's a feature I'd utilize. However, from what I can tell, during the sign up it says nothing about this feature. So I have no way of knowing if the feature is true and how it works or how I can save money or if I will. I've got to pay them money first. AND pay my current insurance still in case Pact DOESN'T offer that.

Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. 1. First claim took about 3 weeks to hear back from Pact instead of the 2 to 48 hours they say it will take. 2. Glass claim for a rental vehicle was not put into the system the first time I called about it and found out 2 weeks when I returned the rental that it was never put Into the system by the agent. 3. Every time I called, the phone system says "there are no agents to take your call" after only being on hold for 1-5 minutes and it hangs up

I had been with Pact for many months and loved the price. Unfortunately, there's a reason for the cheap price. In January, my partner got into a car accident. It has been an absolute battle getting everything taken care of. It took months of endless phone calls to finally get our car paid off, which got expensive fast! You also keep getting switched between agents during this grueling process. They still owe us $400 and will not return any phone calls now that they have our title. Stay away!

Tried to get a new policy, but can't enter my address, their auto fill doesn't find my apartment building. P.S. Pact team, thank you for your response. Starting a new policy by emailing support, isn't expected experience from an app. It is likely that it is your partner providing the acceptable addresses, but my experience wasn't satisfactory, you might consider allowing user to enter address with a post verification step perhaps.

Half the cost of the cheapest "traditional" companies rates. You can't call in and purchase a policy, that's all done through the app but they do have a customer service number. Called twice with questions about policy and payment; both times fast and helpful. App is simple, focused on your coverage instead of extraneous features trying to get you to buy other types of insurance, quickly pull up proof of insurance on opening page, file and track claims. And again...half the cost!

There's a reason why it's so cheap. I was in a collision back in the first few days of March and it's been a slow battle to get them to payout since. My vehicle was considered a total loss, and they agreed to pay out my loan plus whatever money was left from the payout was going to be sent to me. It's been almost a month since they claim the checks were sent out and Wells Fargo says that they havent received the check, and I havent received mine either. Now nobody is responding to my calls.

Their advertising is misleading. They state "only pay for the insurance you use - pause your policy". This would be great because I only drive my car a few days a year. What they don't tell you is the pause must not exceed 14 days and you only pause so many times then they bill you in monthly increments.

So far so good! I'm paying up to $300 less than what other insurers are asking for and I also have more coverage. Saving $50 a month from my previous insurance. My fiancee saved $100 a month coming from other insurers as well. Edit: not sure why peoples rates are going up, but mine fortunately are going down! My fiancee was also unfortunately in a collision and the service under them was phenomenal. They got us through their claims process much faster than progressive did. Highly recommend

Everyone keeps saying it's cheaper than anything 0 stars if I could I would pay 11$ ($111) more for full coverage with root for what Pact charges for state minimum ($100). Tbh Cover is actually better than root stating twice the coverage at $95 a month. This seems like a scam plus they ask for your VIN number to your car, I also wasn't eligible for the full coverage for $241 only liability (state minimum), don't waist your time with this choose Cover for cheap insurance

Switched over from root. Rate was cheaper with the same coverage. Very easy to purchase and find exactly what you are looking for.

It only let's you pause a few times and you have to enter the dates ahead of time and for a limited amount of time only?? Why? Winter has bad weather days that last more than 14 days. So my car will be in a garage not drivin and I'll still be paying insurance on it. Who knows when a good weather day will come, I want insurance I can pause and unpause daily so I can decide when I drive my classic and when I dont or rather nature decides for me to be accurate.

Couldn't find insurance that's more affordable, quick and easy to set up, and just all around better than all the other car insurance companies. Way to go Pact, YOU ROCK!

So far this is best insurance app inhave found by a huge margin. Rates are excellent. Easy to use app. Only suggestion would be to allow to input vehichle information manually rather than just vin if not with vehichle at time but not a major issue. Hope it continues to be as great an insurrance company as it has started out to be.

Needed just very basic, cheap insurance. I barely drive. Less than $10/mo and I'm legal. The pause doesn't do me much good. Because my rate is so low.

So far, so good! Hands down, the absolute best price, (all others $100 and up!) Iv had the opportunity to obtain. The 'Pause' feature also very convenient. Praying my rates Do Not raise/increase after this first quarter, or EVER for that matter. Never heard of 'PACT' insurance, u til now. Let try to stay positive, productive, and continuously work until relieved or otherwise replaced, or re-direcred to complete another task.

I pay half of what I did with leading insurance companies and I get more coverage! Would def recommend, and have done so, to friends and family. Very satisfied 😊

Didnt wana try pay first and see what full coverage will cost after i already pay i need full because of it being a brand new car and sense i cant change anytging untill after they get my money im iffy cuz ive beem looking for a while now and never seen anything like that befor usually u chose what u need then pay can yall lmk bout this and how it changes the amount shown for liability and if im charged more thankn

By far the best insurance I've ever had. I've had them all..State Farm, Nationwide etc... its inexpensive and their claims process is outstanding. Wish I knew about them a long time ago. The best.

They only operate in Ohio. Might be worth trying to do the process to tell them what states they should expand to next. But the other 49 can't get insurance from them right now.

They offered a lower rate with the same coverage for my car insurance. It was easy to get a quote too. I am a new customer and have not been involved in an accident, so i cannot comment on how they manage auto claims.

Not available in Texas. It's not common to come across services with these limitations shopping for insurance, so I thought I'd leave a review letting others know.

Switching from Root and you guys have have way more options for coverage and much more reasonable prices. Hoping to stick with you guys for a long time.

Paying half the price for same exact coverage, except have roadside assistance included!! Have had great interaction with customer service reps.
