I enjoy that all of my E-cards are available for easy reference. This did take a phone call or two with PADI to sort out. Not the Apps fault, but a discrepancy of how my data was inserted following qualifications. Those that have had issues with E-cards might want to check-in on their data entry. I would like the locator function, found in the old App, to be incorporated into the new App, as it's annoying having to switch between the two in order to have full functionality.

I like the idea of this app, but the execution is poor. The e-card access is nice, and so are the knots and hand signals. But the #1 feature i want to work is the logbook and it simply doesn't. Without fail, i get onge of two errors. Either it tells me i failed to fill in required information when i havent, or i get a "connection error" and the dive wont save to the log. After more than 15 attempts to save a single dive over the course of a week, I'm giving up on this app until it's fixed.

I downloaded this app in December 2017. As a new diver and a tech professional i thought it was a great idea. even the functionality looks good. ecard. elog. execution is poor. Filter on elog just doesn't work. what good is a search of its unusable? To top it off it doesn't look like the app has been touched since I downloaded over a year ago. who develops a broken app and doesn't update it in a year? what a waste.

App states. "Sign up. It's easy, fast & free." No not at all. App doesn't recognize your email address when registering. Thats critical for people to use the app. I tried multiple addresses with the same result. If PADI is wondering why the app usage is low. I think a broken registration process is the answer. If/when this gets fixed, I will update my review.

Terrible app. It should be rewritten as "offline first". It loads everything online and it is so slow. It loads even hand signals from web, why is it not stored on device? And logbook, ahhh. It's pain to log anything in this app. And if you do, sometimes it doesn't show those logs next time. And sometimes it does.. Better your dives elsewhere. eCards keep disapearing. Settings crashes. Pictures on the menu are sometimes missing. Offered trainings does not reflect your current certifications...

The idea of the app is great; however, it does not work. I paid for the ecards so I may have it on the app. Doesnt update with ecard and I cannot log any dives properly. I input all the information correctly and fully but when I save the information, some information is randomly changed or just plain deleted. This is a large international organization, I would assume the app would be working. I'm going to have to ask for my money back if I cant have my ecard on the app.

This app needs a complete overhaul. Who on earth let this happen, who designed it? Looks like a high school student's project that somehow became an official app. It's completely counter intuitive, zero feedback on input and utterly confusion in delivering any information about what you can or can't do on any given page. You should be fired and go back to school and learn UI design.

This is the most lazily developed apps I've seen. Instagram is embedded under the "Social" menu instead of a unique experience. No where to find my current certs except the "eCard" menu. I haven't purchased those so the screen contains only directions to a URL to purchase them but not even a link. I have to copy and paste. It's the same for the learning section. The travel section is an embedded website. I can find all of it without the app so why should I bother? The Locator is the best part.

I've been able to open the PADI app but when tapping "update" to view my e-cards (which I have paid for), the app crashes. I don't know what has happened with the newer versions of the app but this feature worked without issues. The erdp also results in "page not found" Very disappointing.

I downloaded the app to refresh my memory for hand signals. Unfortunately, you have to search slowly through a word list. Each time you press the back button it returns you all the way to the main menu. Also, the list is missing how to signal numbers (used when answering how much air one has left).

I downloaded the app specifically to display ecards which I spent good $$ on. No matter how many times I update, the ecards do not show. I recently completed some new certs which came with a 30 day ecard - those also did not show up. Also, static data (knots, hand signals, training classes) should not have to download. The only reason that I rated it a 2 instead of a 1 was that I did like the ability to see all the training classes - and that part actually worked.

Could be better. Any tab you go to takes you back to the main screen rather than one level so when reviewing say your dive signals you keep flipping back and forth. A 'next' button would be useful. Would have thought a basic dive calculator would have been included.

Terrible app, looks flashy but is super slow and clunky Ordered an e-card but the app crashes every time I try to load them, reinstall didn't help either. So i guess e-cards are a ripoff, I will stick with the physical cards and just make a photo off them to carry on my phone... So bad.

Have to pay for things they promise for free. Gotvan email telling me my time was almost up to download my free ecard for an extra Padi qualification. Downloaded the app and logged in but found I needed to pay for an upgrade to keep my ecard and could not actually download the ecard. Absolutely, deliberately deceiving advertising. So disappointing from what is supposed to be a reputable establishment.

I cannot retrieve my e-card on this app. Let's face it. This is the main reason for this app and that feature doesn't work. Everything the other reviews are saying is true. Almost useless. I should add. I also have certification with NAUI (an apparently nonprofit organisation). Their app works fine.

If you have a symbol in your password, the app crashes when getting your e-cards. The website requires your password to have a symbol. The check is only on the front end, so you can around this with dev tools. Still, it's absolutely insane that the app shipped with this bug and even more insane that it's remained this way for months. Edit: Also, trying to use eRDPML just takes you to the shop locator for California

Terrible app! It hangs forever during signup and then when I finally get my information entered it tells me my info is wrong but it matches my card. After a few minutes it switches to accepted (built in magic I guess) but then never accepts NEXT so it won't sign in. Pretty useless if you ask me.

Poorly made app. Tried several times to log dives and never seems to work. Sometimes go all the way through and fill out all the details needed just to find that it won't save, sometimes can't even select a dive site.

Terribly designed/built app for such a large organisation, quite embarrassing really considering they charge ~£38 for a virtual card which doesn't even work. Also the logbook on the app doesn't save logs which adds to the failure. Meanwhile SSI are showing how it's done properly and without charging a penny, yet another reason to switch to them. PADI please hire proper developers.

Padi told me to download this app to get my free e- card. I did. First it returned an error, then it claimed that the benefit had already been used. If this app can't handle something as simple as a C-card, I certainly won't use it for anything else scuba-related. This is a shame. The stack of plastic C-cards divers carry is a waste. Padi rightly tells divers to care for the environments in which we dive. Padi should fix this app & store certs in the cloud for those who don't need more plastic.

I've received my ecard, but im unable to access it on the app. The log doesn't work, it won't save. The tools portion is ok, it has good information, but it's not as funtional as it should be. I would expect a lot more from this app.

A. G. u. Aug 20, 2019

Useless app. PADI emailed to say I had a trial e-card waiting. Tried to download it. Did not work. Emailed PADI to tell them. Got a reply saying their inbox was full. Tried to create a dive log. Entered all the details. Nothing saved. Updated to the latest app version. Passed another speciality course & received an email telling me to download my eCard. Guess what. It STILL doesn't work & the inbox is STILL full. Surely with all the money you take from us you can employ someone with IT skills?

On the Samsung S10 padi does not allow you to go back one page. For instance if under tools and looking at hand signals and you want to see next hand signal the app send you back to the tools home page. On my iPad it'll allow you to go back one page to view the next hand signal.

Pretty dire if I'm honest and i certainly regret spending £46 on an e-card! (especially when currently the ecard button crashes). The app is just a low def set browser linked to online info. Compared to SSI, it really is no comparison. I'm a little sad, and want my £46 back 😞

Not working to get eCard; just crashes if I touch the Update link on the eCard page. Same on both an old Android tablet and Pixel 2 with all latest updates applied. Latest version of this app. Can't see I'd use it for anything else.
