PadTV HD

Works exactly as described on the Google Pixel 3 XL, Samsung Galaxy Note9, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. The only problem I had is hardware decoding doesn't work on any of those devices, but software decoding worked just fine. Combined with the tuner this is a fantastic way to watch TV on the go in *any* country without eating into your mobile data or subscribing to any service.

Weak receiver requires external amplification for most channels. My LG TV tuner shows signal strength and quality for any selected channel, while this app only shows no signal or full strength. Shows full strength even when program is pixalating - Obviously lazy/incompetent design or programming. Many other issues, as others have pointed out long ago. Apparently, MyGiga does not care about quality.

The device this app works with along with the app itself work well. I am able to watch live TV without internet. The app UI could be a bit more user friendly. And based on the FCC map, where I am, I should get a few more channels. But this tuner and app work better than tuners I have connected to my TV and what's great is that this turns my tablet into a portable TV. Would be better if the app worked with my Android TV projector.

So far so good. Works better than I thought. The little rabbit ears pick up better than my TV antenna. Video record and playback works if you find the correct app to play it. I just happened to have X Player downloaded on my phone to play back tube videos, and it worked. I got a Y cable to charge my phone while it plays, swipe left or right to go up or down channels or tap the screen to get a list. Just don't make an update to make it quit!! Samsung Galaxy S10+.

Great hardware, terrible app! Channels are NOT listed in order of virtual channel numbers, so finding the station you want is difficult and time consuming. Changing channels always takes you to the top of the list, not the channel you're currently viewing. And there's no way to create a list of favorite channels so you're stuck scrolling through the entire list every time.

I've used this app, its accompanying antennas (big & small), on both phones and Chromebook. I wish the app would organize the channels in numerical order rather than the seemingly random order it uses. The phone app works mostly with the big antenna and rarely with the small antenna. I found the app has to search for channels everytime I use it, so there is that delay. The app on Chromebook crashes instantly. When you tap on the app, you get a black screen for an instant then the open closes.

I hate it because of the following: 1. It always asks me to open the app every time I connect a different external device even if it wasn't the TV Tuner like USB External Storage, Mouse, Keyboard, ETC. 2. No Program Guide Editor. I'm unable to delete or hide redundant Pay/Encrypted/Duplicate Channels. 3. No advanced settings.

Not sure what happened. Worked flawlessly in Florida. I set it up, got 50 HD channels. Went to use it in Georgia (taking a trip), keeps saying "No device". I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still keeps telling me no device. No matter how much I try or Wiggly or anything it just does not work anymore.

It's cool, the hardware works well in my area. I live about 45 miles away from the area where most of my stations come from and I was able to pick them up. The app has problems though. It won't let me record. It just says "no media". I've heard other people complain about this though. Also sometime the device will not recognize. (I have a s20 fe.) I have to restart my phone. Then it will recognize. Just needs to be fixed a bit. But overall, it's awesome :D

This new update has lots of bugs. First of all, after updating from previous version, this App can't detect all the channels ( Philippines - ISDB-T ) available here. The new version also keeps on crashing. My android version is Oreo. Good thing, I have saved the APK of the previous version and reinstalled it right away. It scanned all the channels and I'm happy about it. So developer be sure to test your update before releasing it.

Works fine with the $30 dongle I bought on Amazon. It tunes and changes channels slower than a "real" TV but overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Please support this in the Android layer in ChromeOS

really good thus far, only thing I would love to have is an ability to access channel changes without goin into the menu. Maybe tap the side of the screen and the channels would slide into view or drag your finger to do it...

This pad HD is excellent. I am very impressed. Just plug in the dongle and download the app scan for local channels & u are watching tv in 2 minutes. While the pic breaks up if u or the antenna is moving that is the fault of the 30year old HD ATSC 1.0 broadcast standard not this app. I will definently buy the ATSC 3.0 version when it is availble

Lastest update doesn't hide the navigation bar and channels at 485 Mhz (DVB-T2) aren't found after scanning, also, please bring an option to turn off brightness and volume gestures, I'll rate this app 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if you fix these issues. Thanks.

this recent update has bug, the phone keeps turning off, it doesn't allow the screen to stay on, other than that everything is fine and the new user interface is amazing. dear developer please fix the bug cause i really love this app. thank you

After resetting my tablet and installing PadTV HD first, I had no problems and everything seems to be working fine. I think any issues I had were with my tablet and not the app. It performs very well.

Very impressive little gizmo and app! I hooked it up to my roof antenna first to see how many stations it could get. I was surprised to see 48 channels, more than my 3 TVs can tune in! Still fiddling with it, but so far I'm very happy with it!

Works great for me. Would love to see a signal meter that shows a numeric value instead of bars. This would make it ideal for fine tuning at the antenna. How's about adding that please?

i just updated the app, loving the new bug you created..im guessing th glitchy programe guide might start updating beter now but i cant hear the channel im on anymore. Who cares because now the plugs getting a bit dodgy and i cant find the 'pad tv' brand dongle to buy anywhere online anymore so i guess ill be forced to buy the competitors brand. .and i see you have made the screen size smaler. home keys always visable, jus what it needed, a smaller screen,WHY DO I UPDATE, its alaways a mistake!

Your TV dongle along with this app came in real handy here in Ames, IA during our derecho severe weather disaster when our power was out for 2 days & cell tower internet was very difficult to use. I could get more complete valuable information about the disaster and what to expect in addition to just having phone & battery operated radios. Thanks again for your product that in this case provided a valuable service!

After updating , you watch tv on your phone after 30seconds the application automaticaly turn off. What's the problem? Much better the old version like the new one have a big problem. Thank you. I hope you fix this problem

The TV aspect of this with the MyGica dongle works great, and I really like it. I'm using it on my Lenovo M8 FHD. The only issue is that the record function does not work. I have Android 10 on the Lenovo, and I expect this is a software issue, since this app works fine (TV and record) with the MyGica dongle on my Nexus 7 with Android 6.0.1. Wonder if MyGica will be updating this app to make the record function work correctly with Android 10?

Works as it should with the MyGica PT362. Could do without the advertising at App start up. Doesn't separate the TV and radio channels, and doesn't take local channel numbers. On EPG doesn't show program details/about. Please with the performance of the MyGica PT362.

I have a Lenovo M10+ FHD tablet and Android 10. This software will not work. It installs, but there is no option for country selection or ATSC/QUAM selection. Cannot scan for channels. It works great on Android 9.

Works great when it decides to work. The problem is that it only works about ¼ (or less of) the time. The rest of the time, I get the 'no device' message. Unreliable at best.
