Excellent app... love the change which fixes my earlier issues. I'm not a fan of adverts but am quite happy to have them to support the developer, however I'm really not a fan of adverts with sound! It's almost at the point where I'm going to have to remove the app because of these! Edit: Dropped to 3 stars because of the noisy adverts, they seem to come up at the worst times when I've forgotten my volume is up!! I'm happy with adverts, just quiet ones please!

With the latest update, swiping up quickly takes me to the previous day instead of the next comic in the list. I have to do a sweeping swipe up to go to the next comic, now. I also don't like the addition of ads, there's not even a way to pay for an ad-free version of the app.

An excellent app, after the gocomics app broke. I swapped to this one and it works perfectly. Edit if you are going to show full page ads, could you at least fix the random button on Dilbert.

Loved this, but the sudden inclusion of hideous noisy ads has wrecked it. From 5 stars to 1 in one go

Been loving using this to read through some old classics. Found it to be a bit buggy here and there with some comics or of order and others in some weird blur, but overall been happy with it. Some comics you can't go back to the beginning. Not sure what's up with that. But otherwise excellent!

On the positive side, there are lots of comics available for viewing. On the negative, controls are shocking. The buttons for one page forward or back are right next to those that take you to the very first or last comic in the series. If you hit those accidentally you lose your place and there is no way to get back there other than scrolling through each episode one at a time. There are options to change the start point or to select from your viewing history, but they don't work at all.

It works OK. God help you if you accidentally press the first, last, or random buttons while reading through a giant archive, however, because it's going to take you a month to cycle through all those comics to get back to where you were. There's a browsing history feature, which shows you the URL of the last comics you've read, but you can't do anything with it (seriously, why can't we click on it to go back to a previous comic?). Great idea, giant database, but faulty execution.

I must say, I'm quite impressed. It works with a very wide variety of webcomics. Most webcomic sites I visit are not optimized for mobile, and this app's browser is a great way to get around that. I did notice that Blindsprings doesn't work (the app can only fetch page 1). But, considering that everything else I've viewed works perfectly, I'd say the app still deserves five stars.

Great App, but the most recent updste caused two problems: 1) Baby Blues went away. There are two "new" Baby Blues options, but they are not current. 2) The new swipe up and down feature (to go between feeds) keeps reading a simple scroll up or down (if comic is too large) as a swipe. Either the sensitivity should be changed, or remove the feature. Otherwise, great app, but the most recent update is a little disappointing. Thank you!

If this app didn't have so many bugs I'd give it four stars. As it is, I'm slowly losing the ability to read some comics because other comics will "migrate" into the space for other comics. The comic will fail to load, and if I try to read it using the browser option it will show the migrating comic instead. Additionally, the viewing history button never works, and makes the comic I'm looking at break until I close and reload the app.

And the latest update gives you full page ads... and so the downward spiral begins.

I love spending a little time each day reading some of my favorite comics. Thank you for putting them all in one place.

Like having Sunday funny pages and comic books at all times

Suddenly started showing obnoxious full-screen ads.

Graphical icons for each comic get lost and replaced with blank white placeholders after a while, making it harder to recognize each enabled comic quickly. This is not phone nor installation dependent as changing both doesn't fix the issue. Developer hasn't responded to multiple help requests regarding this issue. App works well otherwise.

It's bare bones, REALLY simple to use, and has a reasonable, though not vast, selection of comics. (adding this months later: many more than when I first wrote this... and I still love it) NO annoying ads and no badgering for the premium edition since there isn't one. Nice, I love it.

Great in concept, however, I would like to see support for more sites be added, mainly RSS feeds for sites using ComicPress and/or Comic Easel ("The Fuzzy Princess" is one series that uses that), and/or other comic sites using some version of WordPress. Also, i would really like if the sample list doesn't get preloaded when opening the app for the first time, unless the user is prompted to allow it. Well, at least I usually use Feeder (not available on Play Store) to handle my comic RSS feeds.

Great selection of comicstrips love it .

The app is really good, and if you enjoy reading comics this is the best app I have found! The only problem I have is that most of the comics we are given from the library are ones that are popular. This means other comcis which aren't as much famed won't be in it, but I understand that it is hard to input comcis in to the software and finding the links to all the pages will be hard. If you really want to read the comic then just do it from the web site itself! :~MysticXP

I use this app daily. Huge list of available comics! When reading a comic's past history it is too easy to press the wrong key. Instead of coming one day forward you jump to today's comic. Then, the BACK button fails. Otherwise perfect simple uncluttered app.

I will confess to being a webcomic addict. I used to use the Gocomics app to manage most of them, until it flipped out and got shut down. I found PageFlip shortly thereafter, and it's much better than Gocomics ever was. Out of 10 webcomics I follow, I found all but the 2 most obscure on here, plus all the newspaper comics I like (Calvin & Hobbes Forever!). My only criticism is that links will sometimes get diverted to other comics randomly. Sometimes you can fix it yourself, but not always.

It's an okay app. It is an almost convenient way to read webcomics, but you need to copy html address to save some pages, some comics won't without reading in browser mode and there is no easy way to read the alt-text in comics like xkcd or Wondermark.

Ste. C. Jun 26, 2020

Occasional issues with comics not loading but a huge selection of almost all my favorite comics. It would be nice if there was a way to find a specific date for a comic within the app, but overall a great app to have.
