Incredibly useful for quickly accessing and handling work-related alerts. Can't complain about the option for barbershop serenade alerts, either!
Every time I'm on call it ends up overriding all of my sound settings and stays that way. I'm talking every sms, news article notification, calendar reminder blast the alert sound and ignore volume settings. I'd rate higher if that wasn't happening
pagerduty is a best in class saas platform to help engineers stay alert when there are problems. given today's landscape of highly distributed and interconnected services, it's more critical for immediate response to incidents. highly recommend pagerduty as part of your incident response toolset
Keep getting failed to connect to server. Sometimes the page just sits there looking likes it's trying to load but doesn't. Have to close the app to get the page to load and right now all I see is a blank screen
When i try to sign in it is redirecting to Chrome and ask for login, when i provided those credentials it cannot able to open the pagerduty application.
Would love the app if they added the option to override 'Do not disturb' like most of my apps have
Override do not disturb does nothing, so I'm back to being called and the app is almost useless again.
When we get call from PD sometimes when we press 4 or 6 it is not working in short sometimes it is not taking inputs
as much as I don't like getting paged, PD has been very reliable at keeping us in the loop when there are problems.
Volume overrides are a great feature.
The login flow is indeed very confusing. But if you experience getting stuck in web view after login, try disabling *Enhanced protection* in Chrome browser security settings. Setting it back to standard protection did the trick for me. After initial sign-in into the app, you can enable enhanced protection again as the token can be reused by the app.
Good application which shows the usage and manage of pager alerts
It normally does the job but today it keeps playing alert sounds with no visible notification.. I've had to restart my phone 3 times today to dismiss alerts
Most of the bad reviews are probably slightly skewed because the reviewer hates to be on pager duty. As for the app PagerDuty, it seems to do exactly what we need at work, letting us know when servers go down.
The latest version has a serious issue with the alert sound which cannot be disabled even if the device is set to silent or vibrate. Also for the past few versions the notifications do not work either on an android wear device or a Samsung tizen smart watch. You cannot unresolve an incident if you've mistakenly solved it.
Terrible sso integration on mobile. UX is not so great. For the price my company pay pagerduty we deserve better. Maybe time to talk deciders about others products since nothing has improved with PD since years on mobile.
The app does not allow you to set a continuous alert notification. It's been a feature request since 2018 and is trivial to implement on Android (see documentation on FLAG_INSISTENT) but apparently the devs don't care about their customers' requests. The slack integration drops all enrichment data from posts and there is no way to format slack messages yourself, although this is also trivial to implement. I recommend OpsGenie instead.
Settings menu is quite confusing and options disappear after they have been enabled.
At first, I never received low urgency notifications despite settings all the permissions to true. However, I later realised I had to go to the app settings and add my device to receive notifications. The support team were responsive.

Android V5.28.1 both High and Low urgency alerts seemed to stop working for Sound (we have Override System volume enabled) recently (I think it was working just last week) so for our high urgency calls, we got SMS, email, phone call instantly as expected, but phone app (Android AND iPhone) PUSH notification didn't have any sound (Something is broken) We have tried regular sound mode, DND mode, same thing. Newest Android and iOS 12.1 I've tried removing account and adding it back, no luck FYI, alert works correctly when we test under Contact Info Can you look into it if possible? We can only rely on phone calls alerting us during the night, instead of PD app "Something is broken"
Is there some reason that the override do not disturb stops working randomly? Seems to coincide with android updates.
Just started using the app. Will leave a more detailed feedback later. But I have to say that the back button is totally broken. When I hit the back button I expect to go back to the previous screen. Not exit from the app!!! Come on guys. This is Android programming 101!
This app doesn't work in India, I am from Khoros and we pay huge amount for it
"High-Urgency Override System Volume" broke recently causing me to miss pages! I tried rebooting my device and toggling this setting but it still doesn't work. No other changes to my device either so I believe this broke when pager duty made changes in their last update with the notification changes. Running on a stock LG G7 with Android 9.
Alerts came through 5-10mins late. No power saving is set. Calendar is difficult to interpret. Does not load contant on low speed connections, 3G etc.
