Each player (including the dealer) is given one stack of tiles and must use them to form two hands of two tiles each. The hand with the lower value is called the front hand, and the hand with the higher value is called the rear hand. If a player's front hand beats the dealer's front hand, and the player's rear hand beats the dealer's rear hand, then that player wins the bet. If a player's front and rear hands both lose to the dealer's respective hands, the player loses the bet. If one hand wins and the other loses, the player is said to push, and gets back only the money he or she bet. Someone mentioned this app is a good way to learn Pai Gow, but honestly I expect the game inside to list all the instructions, instead it jumps right into the game, none of the menu option offers the rules and instruction. I'm so lost and don't know the rules. A tutorial section would also be very helpful. For now I have to uninstall, when I learn more about this maybe I'll come back.
I like the game, but the ads... ugh. An ad when you open the game then 2 ads and an optional 3rd after each game, and no way to purchase no ads.

Game is definitely not completely random. I've never had so many 0 - 9 or pairs in my life. The quality of the hands is pretty high (lots of gong/wong and pairs) but you still end up losing or pushing some great hands. This gives the game an unnatural and very artificial quality which takes away from the actual thrill of playing. All in all not a bad game just don't chase a losing streak because the your "luck" won't change because of the programming.
