I like it, there are so many ways to keep a detailed log and the explanations really help. There is room for improvement: I can't figure out how to get custom symptoms to work and my "most used" don't stay on the list that are quickly accessible. I often miss symptoms because I don't think to search. Tying treatments to pain logs and not being able to log them separately I feel disrupts accuracy. I also think reminders for what numbers mean on overall pain can add ease to accurate tracking.
This is absolutely the best app for keeping a pain journal because it is so in depth yet it's simple and quick to use. However, as someone with a physical disability using this app to track chronic illness, it's really frustrating having articles and notifications shoved in my face about weight loss, being active, "getting out", eating xyz, etc. I wish I could turn off certain features that are irrelevant to my personal health, and possibly detrimental to my mental health.
Since the update I've been unable to update symptoms, types of pain, etc. - nothing but the body map! It's beginning to get quite frustrating Other than that, it's useful to be able to see how my pain is fluctuation - although I'm not sure of the use of things like the food diary as it can't correlate. But I also understand that that would be nigh on impossible to implement.
I've been using this for a few months and thought everything was fine. I started looking back at my logs and noticed not all the body parts I marked as hurting remained marked after clicking save log. I need a log that is accurate. I emailed their support twice and have not gotten a response. Neither of these problems are acceptable to me. Looking for a better app.
It's hard to continue using this because it feels like I'm just repeating myself over and over, and get i know i should. I have reminders set but even though i have them set for times i should be able to do a log i often put them off. The precision of the pain indication areas is really useful. I'm most frustrated by the way the app is constantly pushing features you may not want to use with pop ups. I've tried to connect with the Samsung health app because it bothers me to constantly, but it keeps saying "all permissions should be acquired" even though I've made all permissions available in both apps. I've contracted customer service but haven't gotten a response
This is the most well thought-out, comprehensive, and customizable pain management app ever! Love that it adds the weather for you automatically. I had used the app approximately 10 days and the only suggestion would be a better way to add pain medication doses at certain times, versus at the end of the day. This may be something I'm overlooking though.
Update: I installed the app after the update and it now it tracks the activity from my fitbit. changed my rate to a 5. I connected my fitbit but I am not quite sure what it tracks. It also took some playing around to figure out how to make changes to the areas of pain. You need to use the reset option to remove an area. I am new to using it, hopefully I will get everything figured out.
Helpful in keeping track of where exactly you're feeling Pain and what kind. I do wish you could add your own descriptions of the pain you feel, sometimes you have to go for what's closest to it instead of actuality. That's my only negative for this app. The rest of it is awesome. There's 2 different body maps, I prefer the detailed one and it really is quite detailed. Overall I recommend this app. It's been very helpful.
I've been using this app for a few months now and it doesn't fit my needs. It's easy enough to use but for all the data you can enter and display, there's no predictive element at all. The app is also very locked down on the types of information you can input. Why do medications need to be approved but symptoms can be added freely? It's also very spammy, borderline predatory. You get an ad after every log and my log in email was used to send solicitations. Devs were unresponsive.
Excellent app, flexible, friendly, easy to use. The sharing aspect is very cool and works wonderfully (unlike other pain apps). Love the ability to draw/select body parts and assign pain scales and descriptors to each. Would like a way to customize which things show up in the lists, but this is minor. All around awesome app for chronic illnesses!
Update: There is a bug when clicking on "insights". It's showing "inactive" as being the complete opposite on the graph, telling me I increased my activity when it was decreased. Please fix it. Weather should be available using zip code, just like my weather app. I do not, nor will I EVER, keep my GPS on. Good job on using an actual androgynous body.
This app makes it easy to track my chronic pain. Only gave 4 stars becauae of a few minor things i wish were different. I wish I was able to start fresh with a log each time, instead of having edit my previous log. Also, I wish there was more options when it comes to describing the pain or a way to add your own. Other than that, this app is great!
Update: They have been really great about working with me on the issues I have had with this latest update. Thank you for the all the help in figuring this out! ******************** I did love it until it wouldn't allow me to change my pain level. It also has an interface that is not intuitive. And yes, I've already submitted a report about this.
While it took me a while to get into the swing of making an entry every day, i love this app. it allows you to reuse the previous entry so you aren't having to completely start all over everyday. it keeps my meds, treatments, symptoms, etc, all together. i definitely recommend it, even if you only have a couple things to keep track of!
Having fibromyalgia makes cell phone use problematic for me..so utilizing apps is challenging. I finally decided to track my fibromyalgia related symptoms, obstacles victories etc.. this is the perfect app for this... It's easy to use, so many options, useful content,.. for anyone who may be on the fence about using this I strongly encourage you to install and give it a chance..
So far it's a good useful app. One suggestion. Love to have ability to add multiple entries during the day without altering my earlier input. This will help me better track triggers and effectiveness of the different things I do to help alleviate my pain. Also, there needs to be room for more than one entry for doc location, insurance& pain on opposite side of the body.If I have pain in back of legs and knees, the figure turns around but deleted the previous tagged body pain location.
I've just downloaded this, and so far it was easy to navigate. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and am attempting to get a clearer picture of it's impact on my life... I wish this app tracked water intake and periods as well, as these both can have an impact of many chronic conditions. Will edit the review/stars up or down after a few weeks of use.
I was very pleased to use this comprehensive app to log my pain and read related articles for my condition for 8 days. Then, the Facebook login link gave me an "error" and I couldn't access the app. I tried using the Google login, but it "failed." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and restarting my device without success. Accessing the website isn't feasible on my device because the content doesn't fit the page properly. Even if I adjust the text size. I'm very disappointed.
Love it!!! but having trouble getting weather to work and log. This is super important to me...I'd be fine with logging it manually for days when it didn't work for some reason but can't find a way to do that. It would also help a lot to be able to track custom tags..."sugar" , "driving" etc. as triggers. I've been tracking some treatments under random medications since I can't put them myself Updated to five stars bc that was a fassst response lol
Very thorough app for pain recording. I would like to be able to highlight individual muscles. Or muscle groups. I recommend it I'd you suffer from chronic pain. The ability to send your pain report to your doctor is a nice tool.
This is the best! I give it 10+ stars for sure!! It shows graphs and details. You can log your food manually so you can add details like time or whatever you want. Fitbit & other macro apps don't let you add details like this. It will track your steps and activity level. The graphs show how how your activity affects your pain. You can also log your pain medications and keep track. I haven't found anything like this. This is the best!!
so far very impressed with the detail. I wish that 4 didn't always say my pain is constant for those of us with contact or situational pain. however the detail is great, I like the front and back of the body being individual sections. would love a center of the back option. I like the meditations and tips a lot.
Lots of bugs and crashes as well as graphical issues. I currently can not send pain logs as it's stuck at processing. The app overall is really easy to use and setup. But I wish the damn thing was fixed.
The AP is pretty intuitive i like the updated map and the info and links to medical information. Feel as though the auto memory is both an asset and a boon while it can be super helpful to have it already filled out I also have found that, sometimes I log inaccurately because I only glance at it, or forget that I had stuff on the other side. But all in all it's helped me keep up on logging were as previously I would forget untill it was super bad or be great about it some days not so much on good days .
This app has allowed me to document my pain, along with rest, sleep periods, foods and medications. There are also options to add your mood, treatments (both personal behaviors and medical). There is also a notes section in each log where you can describe things in detail and muse about things you've tried and their success or failure. Highly recommended app for people like me with chronic pain and little doctor acknowledgement.
I deal with chronic pain and have been needing a way to log it to show my doctors etc. This app is a really good way to keep track of your symptoms, and it has many options so you can describe in detail what's going on. I really appreciate this app especially since it's free
very helpful app, well designed, and useful. The updates continue to improve the app and make it better and better. This app has helped to better illustrate my pain for my doctor and map it along with how it affects me from when I wake up, throughout the day, and go to bed. It's a nice feature to be able to leave notes to remind of any additional info about pain/sleep to reference back to at Dr appt if something triggered pain to be higher or disrupted sleep or something. highly suggest this app
Does what it says well and is free. Semi-annoying(but trying to be helpful) popups in app now and then but does not inhibit core functionality, which is solid and growing as they just added a more detailed body map. Highly recommend if you need to track pain and associated factors.
Decent, but many frustrations: 1. Requires you to log a "mood" every time you log pain. Please make mood optional 2. Full descriptions of "activity levels" are only visible in the first log. Please add details to help docs. 3. Body map diagram has the head as one part, making migraine logs difficult. Please split the head into (at least) quadrants to allow for logging pain on different sides. 4. Repeatedly asks to link weather & fitness. 5. Custom added symptoms are not remembered in the list.
I've used this app for ages to track changes for rheumatoid arthritis and the weather as well as all my meds. It's served me well on my Pixel... Until recently when the refresh rate of the log page is wild! 10 seconds to select my body map and save it before it's all lost. Seeing as there hasn't been an update in ages, I'm worried i may need to migrate
