It has a stupid interface, no control menu to unselect the image, cancel the edit and so on. You are stuck in a project that you can't undo.
At first, it was an excellent app...but then..the issues. Constant ads that set back your progress, the dissapearing toolbar randomly so if you make a mistake you're forced to save and exit or lose all your progress by closing the app, either way the mistake is punishing rather than resolvable, and occasionally for no reason a huge black bar will appear in the bottom, and because there's an undo limit, it's oftentimes stuck there
I think the concept is great and I understand that ads provide money for the devs and I know they are necessary, but they come up in the middle of painting which is annoying. I got into the app and I was excited to start coloring but as soon as I tried to see if the app supported layers an ad popped up. It's kind of disappointing. I guess if you don't mind being interrupted by ads then this is the game for you
Awesome. Just want I was looking for. I can upload my line art and color them in. I love the brush options too!
Could not even work on a picture for more than a few seconds and ad pops up. Then after ad you have to change back settings for brushes and colors then start to paint and boom another ad! I spent 20 minutes trying and did not get anywhere total waste of time.
just couldnt get anywhere with it. seems every developer has a different idea what an icon means and none ever offer a text to go with them. Cant figure out program easily enough. Even changing text color seems to be a chore to figure out how to do.
No filters, no manual edit of fill tolerance level. I even upgraded tongue 'Pro' version. No joy and no help menu. I tried to see if the features I am missing were maybe buried in another menu in the app, nope. Looked in settings there are only 3 on/off pretty irrelevant to app function choices there. I just installed the app today and last update was 11/3/3020, so it's updated. Plus I shut down & re-started my tablet. Still no filter options and no manual edit of fill tolerance level.Very upset
If I could give zero stars I would. Constantly crashing, and when it's not, ads randomly pop up when you're in the middle of working on an image. Massive waste of time. Don't bother.
Overall is an amazing app only wished that the undo and redo were not that far to find it took me a while to find it ,so just wished that it was more on the main page .also really wish that the paint color that we make gets saved somewhere to use later
Used to be good. Then, it randomly decided to delete all my projects, adds constant video adds despite having purchased the premium version and the toolbar will randomly dissapear meaning I have to exit our and restart the app. DONT INSTALL
I wasn't able to find an app to paint over images and erase the background. Needed it to make some posters before the deadline. This app was my last hope and it worked!! Thank you for making this app!
First, The zoom in is terrible, it just zooms into the top left corner. Second, it deletes the picture when you try to erace the pencil. Thirdly, why is there premium for a FREAKING PHOTO EDITER?
I use this as my art software, its provided me with enough money to buy stuff from the store to provide me sustanace and water on my walks daily, 5 stars because it gets one extra for also being easy to use.
Amazing app, something I've been looking for for a while. I haven't found another app that has as much of a versatility as Paint Photo Editor has for Android apps.
-1000/5 honestly do not recommend it. First i opened it didnt open waited for at least a minute then closed it and tried again shows the logo and again 30 secs pass and stkll nothing happens.
literally every 5 seconds an add pops up. and it seems you cant actually save your edited photo...worthless add app!!
Great App. Just what I was looking for. Keeps you engrossed. Wanted to edit and paint a photo, and this app helped me do that beautifully.
worst app, buttons not working. Not able to paint. Immediate ads while painting. Unistalled.
Pencil works like Eraser...Eareser deleted original image objects also...so many issues with app...need to make user friendly.Cant zoom image once selected.
So far good. Will see. Used to work with Photoshop and have not come this close yet for an Android app.

Very bad app keeps closing when you try to edit a pic
I needed something to pick an already existing color and fill in the background solid with the same color. This worked well. I see possible problems with trying to do more complicated things, but I didn't need those features. 4 stars because I could easily select my target color, use the paint bucket to fill in the background, then color over the white line left behind between the old and newly colored sections, but somehow it was zoomed in so I didn't see there was more white line to cover.
