NO MORE RISKING TIME AND FINANCIAL WASTE as you "hope" your newly painted area comes even slightly close to how you see it in your head. Everything I was looking for exactly in a very fluidly designed and easy to interact with app that is free. Already helped immensely in my own life and others. Like to take pictures of places and redesign them. See what it would be like without actually spending the time or the money to find out the hard way lol
Works great. Earlier would have a difficult time, looking at paint brochures, trying to visualize what a room might look like, whether it would match the floor. Sometines I've chosen shades which I'd later regret. This app helps prevent that. It gives me a good idea what the room is gonna look like. It is indispensable for painters.
It good you can either take a photo or choose one from your files. The limitations seem to be that "paint" is not fully opaque, and so will not cover existing imperfections on a surface. This tool could be a good visualiser if you already have a painted room and would like to reimagine it in a different color scheme, but it does not work well on patterned walls, or the unfinished plastered gib so common in home repairs and renovations. It also has banner ads at the bottom of the screen.
The fill algorithm is a basic threshold based flood fill, but painter's tape feature lets you guide it. Since tape is pretty important, I'd like: 1. When finger moves off of image when placing tape, place the tape all the way to boundary. For walls that continue outside of image. 2. Allow easy adjustment of tape endpoints after placement. 3. Edge detection with auto snap tape to edges would be a plus. Also when filling a previously filled area, the previous fill size should be reused.
Maybe should be called COLOR TESTER instead, as its good for ideas of color only. It's almost useful for picking actual paints, but lacking the ability to tailor the actual color sample to the proper specs of the paints, its not going to do the truck for helping me decide if a particular color from a manufacturer is going to give me that same result. I wish it had the ability to specify the RGB percentage or brightness as given by specs on samples to be able to see specific colors in situ
Its OK. It gives a very Rough idea of what something will look like if you squint and use imagination. I think its enough to make a decision on. Could do better: choose an existing colour sample with dropper icon, choose a colour by panetone or values, zoom option, AR option..
it works alright for the intended use. definitely not perfect, but it gets the job done if you're indecisive like me and you absolutely need to see the colors you're thinking of using in a room. It helps with the visualization of the whole process a lot easier.
Appears to blend the colors rather than replacing them. White becomes gray/blue etc. Developer can't seem to grasp this based on previous reviews. Could be a great app if this was addressed.
Best app I have found if you want to apply color in a photo you take. I used the app to see what color furniture I wanted in my living room. The auto-fill, paintbrush, and eraser allow you to get the color applied exactly where you want. Luv the app.
This app is better than the paint testers found in the manufacturer's websites. The auto border detector is pretty good and the eraser and brushes helps. I wish it had the facity to select a color based on RGB values too.
Does not use correct colors. Unable to use any shade of white, as it uses a light blue color instead. Tried multiple shades of white on multiple different wall photos. No good.
it's a good app for testing colors, doesn't give a perfect hue because it doesn't cover the original color completely. so if you have blue walls and test white paint, it'll look gray
A lot of colours to choose from, but could have more features like drawing straight lines, circles etc to create more realistic image.and quality could have been better
Awesome. Just what I needed to help visualize different color shades on a wall without painting it to help decide what colors I want to paint before painting! This really helps get the general idea about how a room is going to look.
gives you a pretty good idea of what the outcome will be. would definitely recommend for trying out some different paint colors. better than paint chips!
some colors worked others didn't, and the brush works better than the paint can. This app definitely needs some work but isn't too bad
There's not many colors to choose from I was looking for a tan but there is nothing even close and the tape feature does not work
Very good app. 1st,Take a photo of the room. In the app, browse that pic to paint the colours we want to. Can do easily and neatly. I did so easily. Was to my satisfaction and will be for all. Good app . I give 5 Star. 👌👏👌
This app really helped us pick out what color to paint our kitchen. You have to use the tools to get it to really work for you, it's not hard to figure out at all. I'm keeping it around for future paint projects.
I think it would be awesome for walls. I wanted something to do kitchen cabinets, I suppose if my hand was steadier it would have worked. I'm keeping it for when I do a room!
Main problem; can't save. Minor issues like no basic color choices; must use custom colors even to achieve black, white, beige...
Color does not come out right. You pick a color from a pallet but once painted it is a different shade. Pointless app.
This app is a great concept and execution is very straightforward. However, it desperately needs a back/undo button. Please let me know when/if this feature is added.
It's ok. I just would like to get a better WHITE color over dark colors since when I try to use it gets Gray color. For that, I need to use another app.
I tried to see how my brick fireplace would look painted and the dark brick showed through any color I tried. Showed more like a transparent stain than a paint. Other users have the same issue. Deleting the app.
Been so helpful in real life renovations.. making the painters tape go where u need it can be tricky but other then that best app ever
Very bery limited and akward to use. No zoom and paint fill doesnt fill. Looking elsewhere
The app has a good range of colours, the main issue that I have is the brush tool is quite unwieldy. What I think could be quite good would be a zoom ability. I think this could help with the accuracy. One thing that I really like is that the colours don't block out the areas that light hits. So if you put a colour down then where light touches in the image will be lighter and vice versa. Just the accuracy issue puts me a little off as the end product is almost good enough to show off.
