The app is recommended by the hotel prior to check-in and really doesn't function well for anything outside of finding out about restaurants and daily activities. Dinner reservations don't let you look past 2 days. App just spins and times out during busy times. If you have multiple rooms not too intuitive for switching between them. Only great part is it works way better than the iOS version.
The official capture feature for official documents does not work for Android phones. How are we supposed to Pre Check when the app just doesn't have the capability to perform such a request. It appears it ONLY works on an Apple phone. Please look into this so that the rest of us can utilize that feature. Thank you.
In the main, the app works OK, but it crashes a lot when trying to find out what activities are scheduled and when ordering room service... quite a frustrating experience when it's the main way of working out what to do on one's holiday.
App keeps freezing. Front desk stated to delete app and re-add. Still having issues. It also errored out and ordered an extra mattress to the room, which I never even looked at. You would think for the Palace Resorts they would make a better app.
Update April 23, 2022 the app is now trash and constantly closes or doesn't load and I've tried it on both iPhone and Samsung little better results with iPhone. Very useful if you ever plan to come to any of these resorts.
couldn't make reservations from the app...very frustrating was able to finally sign on while I was at the resort this time, but then it stopped working properly. Couldn't get room balance.
Helpful for learning about the amenities, restaurants and menus. You can find out about the daily activity and entertainment schedule. I found that the app did not work for booking things, it became glitchy. I do have a very old phone. Otherwise, I do believe it is worth downloading.
Nothing worked on the app after upgrade on the 2nd day of our week stay. NO ONE could fix it. I was told that the app isn't working on Android system phones. No one had a written copy of events. I had to use someone's apple phone at the public relations desk to copy down events for the rest of the week. Not a great way to start the vacation. If I could have given a negative score I would had. Working in IT for 25 years the update should have been tested on both systems before releasing for use
App keeps crashing. I cannot see room service menu at all. Cannot see activities for all days of stay. It would be a great app if it worked well.
Good for room features such as mini bar fill, towels, maintenance, room service. However no details were available for activities/events and times were incorrect for some restaurants. When messaging staff didn't get a reply. Map does not show accurate location and can not zoom properly on regular map. Needs a lot of work.
The app was working well however since the last update has a couple of glitches: The entertainment tab closes down the app. The pre check-in preferences also closes the app.
App constantly crashes, very slow load times from page to page. 'Entertainment' section doesn't load anything on Android. Calendar doesn't work. Interactive map works occasionally at best. Digital map doesn't download. Clearly very little effort went into building this thing.
Constant crashes when viewing scheduled events. Still not fixed months later. Needs work. Will not complete the pre-check in. Bugs galore.

My reservations for this year weren't displayed in the app. After I added them I can't open them to view the details. There is no email address to contact anybody.
Horrible app! I can not schedule any restaurants or trips. I can not see any of the entertainment schedule. The map looks like a 3 year old drew it and using it feels like I've been drinking all night and 8 just checking ked in.. What a piece of garbage.
Met it's purpose while at resort for the most part. However, I had to reinstall the app before I could order room service. I also see everyone's reservation with my same 1st and last name.
The app keeps crashing. So I reinstalled the app but I couldn't log in with either my phone number nor email address.
When the AP works, it's great! But when it refuses to connect to your current reservation, it's rather crippling.
Easy to navigate, has most of everything you would want. Should add the times for a la Carte breakfast on App at Fuego ... didn't even know the served a la carte breakfast until 4th day
App doesn't work. Kicks you out constantly. Can't view any activities or entertainment. Tried several times. A waste of time to use.
I am a member.. The app doesn't work at all. Any time you tap on 'dining' it crashes and won't pull up my account. It's terrible.
Absolute Tosh, has barely worked in the two weeks of my stay, keeps crashing and can't use the room service facility. Reported it to the hotel numerous times
Could not reserve restaurants from app. We had 2 rooms and couldn't change room numbers on app to order room service. Overall experience at Moon Palace Nizuc - Cancun was awesome. Great vacation.
Menus are ok. Activities and entertainment are super slow to load if at all.
This app is horrible. Keeps stopping. Won't recognize log in. Won't give you an option to change password.

Most of the time I get error popup while navigating app. Interactive map does show legend.
The app will not allow me to pre check in. It won't move past me taking a picture of my passport.. it moves slowly. Sometimes doesn't load at all
Found app to be very inconsistent and somewhat NOT user friendly. It loads very slowly, and sometimes it flashes the data and reverts to the previous screen. Used app daily for a week in Cancun. VERY frustrating. Tried deleting & reloading... no difference. Entertainment tab is useless. This app needs serious help!!! (I'm a retired IT manager).
