Pallar Mallar Velalar
The Pallar (also known as Mallar, Pallan and Devendrakula Vellalar, Pandian, Pandion, Pandiyan) is a caste from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The Pallar were and remain mostly agriculturalists and warriors. They found among the Tamil diaspora and are densely populated in southern parts of Tamil Nadu. Also, they are living all over the world in the name of Palla, Pallan, Pallar, Pallas, Pallant, Pallarae, Pallara, Pandian, Pandiyan, Pandion, Malla, Mallan, Mallar, Devendra kula velalar, vellalar.

Good history
Excellent initiative...my heart full congratulations to the initiator. There are lot many can be added under "Varalaaru". For example the Rajapalayam history. Once upon a time it was called as Pallar palayam. After arrival of Rajus from AP the town is termed as Rajapalayam. The heart of the town was Maklars. The hospital and old bus terminal was donated by one kudumban. It is reheatable to note that they are not remembered. And many places mallars were rulers. many more to add. My appreciations.
