Originally designed for palm(tm) OS PDAs back in 2002, palmDraft is now available for the Android platform so you can easily design your own professional-looking electronic schematic diagrams on your Android tablet or phone.
This is a simple bitmap-based drawing application, featuring a high definition, flick-panning, pinch-zoom-able working canvas optimized for finger and pen drawing. It's as easy to manipulate as a sheet of paper. The schematics file format is standard .PNG bitmap file format which can be easily exported and shared for printing.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Designed for high-density screen devices, tablet or large screen device recommended for best experience.
* For older devices with low screen densities (which have lower heap size), if you get low-memory warnings, please disable dark-background in prefs screen and work with SMALL or MEDIUM sized schematics (minimum 32MB of heap).
Basic Features:
* Schematics in SMALL:720x480, MEDIUM:1080x720 and LARGE:1920x1080 sizes.
* Free pinch-zooming and panning of the canvas on all editing modes.
* Grid snapping for easy and accurate finger operation.
* Schematics are saved and edited in standard .PNG format.
* Copy, delete, move, flip and rotate blocks, text and objects.
* Block Export and Import.
* Built-in basic electronic, electric, network, analog and digital symbols.
* Import custom made symbols and I.C.s
* Landscape and portrait modes.
* Export schematics to camera roll (gallery).
* Share schematics (Gmail, etc..).
* Working canvas available in dark or light theme (Prefs).
If you experience problems with the application please make sure that the "Don't keep activities" setting in the "Settings-Developer options" of your phone settings is unchecked (disabled).

A very good app. it has an amazing drawing capability. it takes a little while to get used to the various functions but is relatively easy to use. Runs ok on my Galaxy Samsung tablet which is some 6 years old. Very impressed
Unintuitive and impossible to even get a simple schematic started. There is no undo function so if you misplace one of the few components that will actually draw you have to wope the entire sheet and start from scratch...
I'm using paid version, great software but hopefully the developer make plug in so that we could export from external photo to palmdraft & also the text like EXAMPLE X1 then we can go to X2 and so on, but now the app just keep repeating same value, pls update then I go to full rate 5 star.
Install it and use it only if you have enough self-control so you don't get mad. It doesn't do what you really want it to do when drawing electronic schematic.
Wonderful app! I use it all the time, just can't figure out how to add my own components would be nice if he could upgrade that part.
This app does not work in MI note 7S, do something ,I need this app , this app work in another small range phone

Its an amazing app for drawing circuits. I hated it at first but I took the time to understand it and it was worth it.
Love to slam an idea together to get a visual. ... But on phone and tablet I cannot edit a placement. And it continues to place objects when I'm done and moving screen around.
It's fine... It can be used for basic electronics drafting, but it's missing a few things.
Some great software, I can now reference my designs on the go.

Great app. It works on my galaxy sm p600 😊
Menu option not showing up when I turn it on, otherwise it would get 5 stars. In the demo video it shows a menu with help , prefs, new , load etc which I cannot access. To save any modifications to a circuit means selecting the whole area of the circuit and exporting it with a new file name. And I have to take a screenshot to save as a png image. Thank you very much 5 stars
This is a excellent program with a lot of options. Thank you for adding vacuum tubes to the mix. Great work!
used to be top on palm, but that's overv a decade ago. time has moved on since then. but this app hasn't.
I use this program to design circuits for robotics, and wiring houses. I have even used it to layout my sprinkler system. The simple design is intuitive, and the ability to easily create custom symbols is great! Awesome customer support. I emailed with a request, and that night he had the update in!
This app didn't work at all! It was a frustrating waste of time and money!
Not good at all
A lot of quirks and oddities, but very useful. It is easy to use, and quite powerful once you understand its limitations. No annoying ads or nag screens, and despite its limitations, it fills my needs better than many similar apps. That said, it's far from perfect. Mistakes are often hard to correct as editing is done in a single layer bitmap vs vector or multi-layer drawings I wish certain components could be resized, and cancelling some operations leaves garbage on the screen. Save often!
