Really bad.. when on a call, the noise cancelling sends all the noise around to the person on the other side. And i am trying to make aure it's from the app or the earpods and looks like from the app because it cancelea all the noise for me
App cannot be closed without forcing shut down under settings/apps. My Samsung S10+ also complained about high Ram usage. For such a big company I would have expected a better product.
This app is pretty decent for the RZ-S500W. It works pretty well. I wish it didn't use GPS like others have said and I wish there wasn't a constant notification saying no connection. Overall not bad. The RZ-S500W are awesome as well. Please add an option for these earbuds to automatically pause music when you switch to ambient sound. What's the point of switching to ambient sound to hear someone if my music is still playing over them.
TROUBLESHOOTING OPTIONS DON'T WORK NOW, honestly considering getting a refund >:( Pls fix immediately: latest firmware update means I can't hear anything now except the startup music (which is perfectly loud and clear, and the noise cancelling works fine). Also sound works perfectly when connected to my partner's phone. Tried unpairing and re-pairing, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and still the sound doesn't work any louder than a whisper except when playing system sounds.
Sufficient, could be better. the app has a fairly intuitive layout. but i have found it to be quite glitchy at times. and needs further optimization. for some reason my phone wont allow me to enable the LDAC connection mode. even though my phone has Bluetooth 5.0 and Android 10.0. any advice?
The compulsory location-on requirement is offensive, not to mention completely tone deaf (pun not intended) given modern privacy concerns. The app itself is ok, allowing basic functionality such as firmware updates, battery levels and equaliser settings. Yet even with volume controls at max it's still way too quiet for youtube, podcasts, audiobooks. Headphone finding is a novelty hardly worth giving up privacy for. I expect I will uninstall after using this to update firmware.
Hardware 10/10 app 2/10 does what it needs to most of the time but randomly gives up, I don't know why. You guys need a new app real quick
Using a OnePlus 7 Pro and a OnePlus 9 Pro with this official app and it does nothing on either of devices, starting the app failed to connect 😴 Using Bluetooth 5.2 that is inbuilt into on my homebuilt (pro editing work station) desktop, the earphones do nothing too. Pointless app. Pointless wireless earphones. What a waste of time and resources. Returning 🚮 Next 🙄
- Intrusive notification about "could not connect to headphones" when not using it, has to be force stopped. - Cannot connect to the earbuds from within the app, the connection always fails, it has to be done through the phone's Bluetooth settings - Firmware upgrades get interrupted if screen turns off, despite the message stating the upgrade continues even whilst the phone goes into standby - Visually unappealing, it looks like a rough design from the 2000s
App intermittently no longer switches ANC on/off and I have to repeatedly Force Stop and reopen. As many reviewers state I also suffered low max volume but fixed this in phone Android Developer Options... Absolute Volume (Google it for more details). Drops connection in Zoom/Teams mtgs which again has to be fixed in D.O. by rowing back AVRCP to 1.3. All a bit hmmm... Panasonic.. really...?
Please add a toggle for the connection/battery level notifications, or at least a volume slider. I use the noise cancellation on these these to help sleep, but the max volume voice screaming "low battery" in my ear wakes me up.
Earbuds case has serious battery drain issue. It never turnoff Earbuds when placing in case, as a result, case battery will completely run out in 1 week even though not using. Competing brands don't have this kind of issue. Hope firmware can fix this.
Please give me an option to turn off the LED lights. I use these for sleep, and it's impossible to sleep when bright lights flash every few seconds. Edit: I changed my review to 5 stars. Thank you for adding an option to turn off the LED lights. I can sleep now.
Panasonic should add support for the 605 model to this app. The only difference between the 610 model and the 605 model is that the 610 model has an extra physical button on the headphones to call up Google Assistant. The 610 model appears to be mainly available in Australia and New Zealand (I'm guessing that Panasonic must have a bigger presence there than in other markets to release the 610's there and no where else). The 605's is the model available in Europe and the US. Please update the app
Update seems to have massively fixed previous crashing issues and added functionality
I can't even connect my headphones I was gifted Panasonic RP-HTX90N headphones for my birthday so I downloaded the app tried to find the headphones but said pairing failed they work fine without the app but I like having the full experience with my headphones I hope that this bug will get fixed in the future and then is when I will change my rating of the app
ANC slider not working. The slider keeps resetting at about 20% so I cannot get the ANC to cancel noise at it's highest setting. Really annoying.
Just a really bad app all round can't find app even when searching for it in all apps have to go through play store on both phone and tablet everytime to use . The locate headphones feature is hit and miss and the app requires me to relink headphones to it everytime if I wanna use the app honestly easyer and simple to use built in media control 0 stars
