App not updated. Finds my brand new DP-UB9000, which is running on the newest firmware, but the app won't connect, because it detects outdated firmware
Panasonic needs to do far better. This control and many of Panasonic's on the playstore just doesn't Work. This dumb control finds my UB820 quite easily, but it continues to tell me to update my UB820's firmware while UB820 is telling me that I have the latest firmware. Seriously Panasonic, pucker up, raise your game.

Worked after original install but doesn't work anymore.
Doesn't work at all. I even found my phones Mac address through the theater system network settings and the app still couldn't "find a device".
horrible! Cannot connect! Connected lan as said both devices are using same connection! Should work like devlopers gave up!
when it works its awesome. however I can rarely get connect to use it. both devices are 'on'. sometimes it connects no problem.
Seriously folks, fix this. It used to work but no longer does. It's like the developer gave up on it.

Won't connect
This app found my new DMP-BDT280, which has the latest updates, but can't connect to it. It states I need the latest firmware updates.
Please add the keyboard!!!!!!!!!
Works great but crashes when you click on the remote portion. Hopefully this is fixed with an update. Love it for the volume knob and cursor.
Its ok connects straight away no different from the main remote. Shame it hasn't got the keyboard features to make apps like you tube facebook and signing into apps easier.

Won't detect my BTT880, with all the settings as they should be.
Finds my DP-UB820 UHD Blu-ray player on my network but immediately tells me to update the firmware of the device. The UB820 is fully updated to the current firmware. As the app can't progress beyond the window telling you to update the firmware it's rendered completely useless. Same problem as everyone else has been reporting here for years now, it turns out. Come on Panasonic, are you listening to your customers? These are products still being sold brand new on the market today. Support them.
