Panasonic TV Remote
The TV Remote app lets you control VIERA over wireless network (Wi-Fi) more intuitively than the ordinary remote controller. The TV Remote App also lets you transfer pictures, videos, music or websites from your mobile display to VIERA TV, and vice versa. It also features a Game Controller option, which lets you play games using Android Device as your handset. Keyboard and touch surface functions smartly enhance the interaction with VIERA integrated web browser.

Won't connect to my 40GX800B. Can't use alexa to voice control cannot see the TV on The network Rubbish app and panasonic website is useless. Pretty poor show. Would have given no stars if possible.
Utter garbage. This app along with Panasonic Remote 2 do not work at all. Completely useless. Just buy a universal remote.

Most of the functions in this application work well. However, when I play back videos from my Android phone, they are intermittently choppy. Sometimes I can stream several in a row without a problem. Other times I can't get even one to play back without choppiness. The pictures play without issues. I have a wireless N router in the house and the TV is connected via 1000mb ethernet connection. Nothing else is running or streaming, so I do not have an explanation for the stuttering / choppiness.
I've tried both versions 1 and 2 with limited success. In both cases the success was not ultimately worth the frustration of the TV not being found every other time I use it (despite having the adapter connected with a strong signal to the same network) or the fact that the power button is missing -- which is still absolutely ridiculous.
This is quite basic, mainly as best features don't work! The main thing I want is to be able to view what's on the tv via my phone - great to see what the kids are watching doyen stairs. .. I could do it perfectly with my lg tv, via either a screen shot or actually watching it. .. Please fix or improve
Don't waste your time with either version of this app unless you have the Panasonic wireless adapter on your TV. My TV is wired to the router so this app is useless I will NOT buy a Panasonic adapter. I already paid enough for the TV.
Wouldn't even recognise my tv or offer me a selection. All it did was show me a demo. The "version 2" did not work either.
Tried remote apps. 1 & 2, neither of which has simple on/off switch. I need my TV's remote for that... well if I have to reach or get up and get my TVs remote while I am using my galaxy tab then what's the point of this app??? Why don't the developers just add a simple power button like the Peel app? I would like to use panasonic viera app because it's more compatible with my Panasonic TV than Peel which can atleast turn on my TV....
Despite both television and tablet(s) being connected to the same hub the app does not detect the television! Totally useless and apparently typical of the poor support that Panasonic supplies to the UK market.
Neither Panasonic TV apps works with my 'smart' Panasonic TV - rubbish unless u have an up to date TV which is what 'they' want
Doesn't work on my tx-40cx400B, tried remote 2,that does not work either. Yes the TV is connected wirelessly as is my Sony Xperia.
I have Panasonic's viera but still when I open app it shows up blank
Not only this app, ever it's previous version too failed to detect my Panasonic 65GX500DX. I do not know in what way, the TV is called as Mary TV, as there's no voice control feature, no apps could be installed, no casting directly from my android mobile phone, and above all, no software update available, nothing... If the company really wants customer base, they need to get these things going....
