PandaPow VPN (Android 4+)

It's payed apps. I don't have a problem to pay if it is a fair service, but this one is created to rip you off. Once you download it you have to sign for monthly subcription (no other options) and it's very unclear how to cancel it. Was sure that I mannaged to cancel it, but today they charged me again for 8eu for the second month. Used it only for 3 days while staying in Beijing (worked not good at all - sometimes tried to connect for 10 times or even more). BE AWARE!!!

works well. sometimes you have to connect anf disconnect and reconnect. it does not work 1st time some times. but its OK. the Europe servers are overloaded or something, its difficult to get descent connection through EU servers.

January 2022. I've been using this for years but it's stopped working however they still took my money. Avoid at all costs. It should be taken off the Play Store !

Good app but terrible customer service. Servers regularly going down with 0 notifications on their website to explain. If you do contact customer service their response is "use a different server" like thats a fair response, take my money provide half the service you pay for and expect you take it. No offer to credit your account for lost days. Better off payinf extra 2 dollars for expressvpn. F these guys

It just stopped working at all one day and I got no reply from customer assistance.

I am going to raise a chargeback if you don't reply my mails. It's best you let us know if you are done with business other than leaving us with no word.

I've been using Pandapow for a number of years without any real issues, but on 21.12.20 everything stopped working. I cannot connect to a single sever. The main error is "cannot resolve host address". I have send Pandapow 2 emails they haven't responded. It is now 06.01.2022 and still no response. I advise you not to use this VPN. They are now just stealing people's money!!

Stopped working at the end of 2021, looks like they closed their company. The app has not been updated since 2019, no ot a good sign...

**UPDATED - Chrome OS has been updated, so if you have an Android apps compatible Chromebook, Panda app will work no problem. ** Great app. Great service. Still a little too draining on batteries, and a widget would be super helpful, but still the best VPN available.

Unreliable, unstable, slow. In short: a terrible VPN for China. It's the service that caused most of my headaches. Look elsewhere if you want to save yourself time and hassles.

Not Connecting

Usually a good VPN but of late it's not as reliable or speedy. And it absolutely does not work on my Xiaomi 4c. It keeps disconnecting without notification. And, when it is connected to China Unicom, it can no longer access Google and Facebook or Instagram. It only works with unblocked content in china

Many other vpns like expressvpn & vyrvpn claiming number 1 or 2 in China are just BS. Pandapow have no issue of breaking up connection nor slowing down. Thumbs up and good job!!! I hope pandapow will release an app for iphones and ipad soon.

Using pandapow &Pandapow Wifi service for almost a year,i can say its best vpn provider for china,and they upgrading there service on regular basis,any prb come,there support team responce fast and solve any prb.want them to make speed of ip address fast then it will be more good.

I don't like the design and the way the buttons are organized, but it does the job. Why don't you use the support library and add some Material touch to it? The entire VPN service is some what unstable in China (as some other users mentioned) but this is not PandaPow's fault as it is caused by the poor performance of some gouvermental servers scanning the entire traffic leaving the country. In China, PandaPow and the servers in LA (13, 22, 23) are the most reliable solution (I tested a lot VPN services)

I don't understand how there are so many negative reviews here. Unless I've just been very lucky I can only imagine people are really frustrated at needing to use a VPN at all, rather than this service. For me and several friends living in China (who recommended this to me last year) this has been a stable and extremely fast VPN service. The app takes the hassle out of manual set up too, and I can't think of any way it could be made easier to use.

pretty good in china where a vpn is a must

Very stable and reliable connection. the server in Japan is always very stable while connecting from eastern China. The only thing that's missing now is a widget for Android.
