I am here rewriting my review today because i think it deserves more than the few words i had for it 3 years ago. I have to travel a lot for work and some of the nations I go to (mostly china) give no access to most of the sites i use. I have tried many services, free and paid, the working ones were too expensive and the cheap ones most definetely failed me at some point. But fear no more! PandaVPN is here, gives me a great deal and never failed me once! Recommended if going to China for sure.

This VPN service is economical with the lowest price I have ever seen. Everyone can change his IP to the countries in the list of the App. A nice feature is stable connectivity with services, about 70 percent of my network. It is pretty fabulous

I feel scammed. It was so good when I was on trial period. I could watch HBO max. But soon the ads stopped becoming available. I purchased a trial VIP for a week. After that it never worked or it's too slow to watch a decent movie. Good thing it was only for a week. I would've purchased more but the quality is compromised once you purchase .

I'm planning to buy a subscription but unfortunately the server that I'm using is too congested and the ping reaches as high as 300ms and one of the reason why i step-back from getting the Pro version.

(updated ratings) I liked it at first as the VPN speed was reasonable. But two to three weeks into the paid service I experienced issues with connecting to the server. I can't connect to any servers at all and it disconnects whenever I tried to connect again. The problem could only be solved after I downgraded the app and downloaded previous versions of the app from Github. Hope this issue is solved in the latest version soon. But the customer service is satisfactory.
Into my 3rd year with Panda VPN here in China now halfway through my 7th year here in China, teaching English, and without a reliable, affordable VPN, life would be nigh on impossible: aside from connectivity and security issues with internet banking for my UK bank account etc, FB, Insta, YT (basically anything Facebook or Google and Twitter) are blocked here, so a VPN is a necessity of life for connecting back home with family and friends too. Reliable, Bargain and with Great Customer Service
Great App. I use in China & have no problem to connect Facebook and YouTube. Also, the troubleshooting was great. I forgot to set a password once a/c created. So I failed to reconnect the VPN. The team responsed just few hours after I sent an email. Despite it was a weekend. Strongly recommend this app if you prepare to go to China.
In first months after you pay its very very bad 50% of servers are out and 40% the pangs over 1000 and other servers 10% you must search many time to find one can connect It's very bad

I'm impressed. Anyone who lives in mainland China knows just getting a VPN to work is a challenge. I've been using expressVPN for years but I've also been looking for an alternative. And So far I'm very impressed with PandaVPN! Great speeds, good variety of servers. I also like the fact they list ping speed as well.
Pros: Works out of mainland China unlike most other apps. Easy to use. Reasonable prices. Clean interface. Solid connections. Can use Discord with it unlike OVPN or Nord. Has 3 game proxies based in Japan if you game. Cons: Not always the best connections but offers plenty of servers, but I am using it from China. Suggestions: Would be nice to be able to star a server right out of the main screen instead of clicking on the server list.

When I first came to China in the beginning of January I was looking for a vpn. At first I used express vpn which worked really well when connected but wasn't reliable at all, always disconnecting and it was a huge pain in the a*$ connecting to it. Panda has been amazing. I've been using panda for the past 8+ months and I can always rely on Panda to connect instantly, even if it does not always have the best speeds, I can always rely on it for at least emails and web browsing. Overall very good vpn, I'm using it from China, price is reasonable compared to other VPNs, especially if you get a half year or a year subscription. Hope the the connections get better, I sometimes have the feeling they block the internet or make it very slow when using VPN. This happened also to other VPNs, like Nord, with their VPN my laptop and phone looses the connection completely from the internet after trying to connect. So maybe that impacts Panda now also sometimes
I have used PandaVPN for the past few years and I've been happy with it. Although now while using the desktop app for Windows 10 most connections run much slower than in the past. It's quite frustrating to keep switching servers for a good connection. No issues with the Android app though. I will probably renew subscription and give it a try for another year.
