Pango

This is the worst parking company/app by a long shot. You have to load money or connect your bank in order to even see the rates, even if it ends up being 0. It is not intuitive and was glitching even just to get the payment method loaded. On top of that, you're still charged for them to hold your money. I had to pay $15 to find out the parking was free for the time I need it. You get charged a "processing fee" when requesting a refund for unused funds. Customer service is entirely unhelpful.

Not always the best experience. Ads are annoying and should be done away with. When I first installed the app, I initially had a difficult time actually getting it set up to use. Most of that has been ironed out, but there is the occasional hiccup starting a parking session. I am of the opinion there should be no ads for this app. 03-09-22. In response to the developer, I checked that setting and it was already off, so there shouldn't be ads.

Doesn't work! It made me deposit $15 to park for 30 minutes. Now I'm trying to log in to use the rest of my balance and the app just keeps saying it sent me a verification code but it hasn't. Probably getting a ticket since I have been parked for over half an hour.

Pango has changed their app to use an anti-consumer "wallet loading" method of paying for parking, rather than simply allowing you to pay for each discretionary meter. At least $15 to pay for one parking meter? No thank you. Please consider being more consumer friendly and not trying to bilk people for your bottom line.

Horrible app, cannot see rates or parking zones until you put money in. Doesn't let you search by pango zone (or the search just doesn't work at all) Very unintuitive to use, would stay away.

This is such a terible app!!! Guys if you have to park in area where Pango controls the larking, better do not. Move your car 10 blocks away if neede, or you gonna lose a lot of money! You have to confirm many times that you stopped your session, than double check many more times as well!! Otherwise you will be charged maximum charge, what happend to me. For some unknown reasons app didn't want to stop my 30 min session and I just saw that was charged full daily amount! No customer service!!

Changing review the parking meter was incorrectly labeled. Once the parking number was identified I was able to find it in the app and pay with no issue.

As much money as they make you'd think they'd have a usable app. The app doesn't allow you to add payment methods. I was able to add it on the website on my computer along with my vehicle info but I don't carry my laptop around with me when I park. Once I set all that up, I click pay to park on the app and wouldn't you know, nothing happens. I've played phone games with more optimization and usability. Long story short this app cost me 185 dollars when my car got towed because of the app.

I've been disappointed with the Pango app, and only use it as my town requires it. My biggest concern is the accessibility of the app. The text is small and hard to read, and it is very easy to select the wrong parking lot. This is partially because the sorting of the list changes. Also, there is no way to select a default vehicle. If you select the wrong vehicle and start your parking there is no way to fix your error. I have several unanswered emails to the developers about my concerns.

Hard to install and operate, not intuitive, slow. Worse, you can't switch spots (frequently there's a limit 2hrs max, etc. ) so if need to move car you have to wait until the exact moment the time expires. Can't be done at your convenience when works for your schedule - it's the app's schedule that controls not yours. And since you're moving spots (or trying to), the max time does not apply.

App is broken, everytime I click any of options or sub menus, nothing happens. You can see that the app knows you clicked it but you cant access the submenu. For example, when I press Pay, I see that the top changes to the title Pay but I'm still stuck on the map. Even in the settings i cant access any of the setting categories cause its stuck on the main page. This occurs for most of the app, so I cant even do the one thing this app is built for, pay to park. Broken app.

Doesn't allow you to park! I tried the mobile site as well, but whenever I put the parking request in, I don't see my parking as active!! 😑

I rented a car 6 months ago and used this app to park once. I'm still getting monthly charges

It is what it is. It's a parking app no one wants to download but you have too. But here's what it needs. A PERSISTENT NOTIFICATION TO LET YOU KNOW IT'S RUNNING! So you don't do what I'm sure a lot of people do, and leave it running all night because you forgot to turn it off and end up costing yourself $12 when you parked in a space for 30 minutes. And customer service can't change it because the app "reserves a space for you." I would delete this app in a heartbeat if I could.

Everyone there are very professional and actually helpful even when my app is not working properly .The customer service is the best

This must be the most convoluted, frustrating way to pay for parking I could imagine. Want to park in this spot? Better hope you have internet to download the app. Now the app wants your phone number (better hope your cell service is working too!) your email, your credit card number. Now figure out how to use the app. Oh look advertisements! After all this and you figure out how to locate your "zone" and pay for the spot, you're hit with a convenience charge! Absolutely ridiculous.

I travel a lot and have used 5 or 6 different parking apps. Some are better than others but Pango is the only one I've used that didn't work at all. It wouldn't even let me add a form of payment and even i tried to contact their help desk I was told that it as probably a bad connection even though my screen wouldn't do anything at all. Not only will I not use this I can't even because it's broken.

This app has not been functional for me. Despite reinstalling the app several times, the "Pay" button does not work so I cannot park anywhere. Numerous attempts to solve this with Pango on the phone and through their chat service has not worked. It's a shame, the older version of this app worked perfectly for me.

App doesn't allow you to add your phone number Update: After reaching out to the company because I was not allowed to put my phone number in and have an active balance of $15 and almost received a ticket because I wasn't about to be late for my doctor's appointment because the app wouldn't work! Customer service was very responsive and helpful. Now I'm able to log in for now. I only use this app to go see my doctor maybe twice a year which is very annoying!

Very convenient app. Even its the option to direct call to start or stop your parking. Amazing customer service. Very professional people work there as Clarise Joy Dumagan. You can park up to 4 vehicles in the same time from your account. Recommend

Trying to set this up and keep getting an error when I enter my phone number. I get a pop up that reads " An unexpected error has occurred, we apologize for any inconvenience". Editing to respond to Rep: No need, my city didn't want to use Pango anymore either so they set up a new kiosk system.

Always has been a crappy app. Now can't get back into my account because it won't send the verification code after uninstalling because the app wouldn't load. Like I said it has always been a problem and it's either this or carrying quarters. Dont trust this app because without quarters you're risking getting a ticket!

I'm try to park but the app is not working. I hope they won't tow my car. This ridiculous and the verification code is not showing up in my phone since then no one is able to help me fix this issue. It's been 4 daysssss.im not able to unpark when they can do it by phone. It's a shame

I almost had my cars towed. I tried using this useless app and it would freeze! I called customer service and was on hold FOREVER. Then I tried online. It allowed me to add cars, select "start parking", told me I would be initially charged $13.44 for 24hrs, and to click button to start. I hit the button.....AND NOTHING!!!!!!! The caption disappeared as if it started but it didn't. I even showed the tow truck guy! DO BETTER!

Awful experience on my Android...it does not work. Had to go online to stop and start parking. But session did not stop and charged me for 24 hrs!! This is an awful app. i have no choice but to use it, or be towed in my apartment complex!

Terrible App The wallet feature is a rip-off. If you want your money returned it takes them 20 business days (which is insane). I could not get anyone to answer their telephone hotline. They take 48 hours to respond to customer support emails (if they bother to respond at all). This app is a complete ripoff. Avoid it at all possible.

Works okay, great for when I don't have change. However, be aware there is an 18% convenience fee for each transaction. I wish this was stated *before* you have to load up a prepaid amount of $25 instead of after.
