The Ashtadhyayi is one of the earliest known grammars of Sanskrit, although Pāṇini refers to previous texts like the Unadisutra, Dhatupatha, and Ganapatha. It is the earliest known work on linguistic description, and together with the work of his immediate predecessors (the Niruktas, Nighantus, and Pratishakyas) stands at the beginning of the history of linguistics itself. His theory of morphological analysis was more advanced than any equivalent Western theory before the mid 20th century, and his analysis of noun compounds still forms the basis of modern linguistic theories of compounding, which have borrowed Sanskrit terms such as bahuvrihi and dvandva.
Pāṇini's comprehensive and scientific theory of grammar is conventionally taken to mark the end of the period of Vedic Sanskrit, introducing the period of Classical Sanskrit.

For quite sometime, I wished I had access to Panini's Aphorisms. And here it is in Play Store! The "Vyākhyānam" Section contains bundles of Cross References making it easy to follow without losing cogency! Superb App! Keep it up!!
It is very useful to me. whenever I have some time, I will go to app and use it. it is helping to help to memorise astadyayi when i can not carry a book.

I use it regularly. Very useful app. Serial page turning, annotation, dictionary linkage etc can be considered as future tweaks. Many Namaskaras for ur effort.
Make it easier to search without knowing sutra Sankhya or give an index to get sutra Sankhya !👍

Om, the app is excellent. If possible please add one section where all the sutras are indexed alphabetically. If we dont know the number but if we remember the sutra then we will be able to find out the number and vyakhya. Display both sutra and number, sort option asc or desc on both. So we can set as we feel. Also, number selection ring is okay, but if tap on the number bring the input box for adding number manually. Om.
