Fantastic app! It lets me organize everything by where I store it and what category it belongs to. I like the idea of the barcode scanner, but the descriptions are way too long so I don't use it. The shopping list is nice and I love the ability to take a picture. I wish it had an undo feature; that would save a lot of frustration when you accidentally delete something. The small fee for removing ads was totally worth it.

This app is AMAZING. Seriously, the developers knocked the ball out of the park on this one. Perfect for managing your home inventory of pantry items, freezer items, fridge items, etc. Being able to stock your shopping list automatically based on configured minimum quantities is genius. I paid for the upgrade almost immediately because I was so pleased, and I almost never do that. The developers deserve every penny they earn for this app. I would really like to see the items in my lists in a grid rather than list, and I would like that grid to be pretty small so that I can see more on a single screen before swiping, just a square with a name and quantity. Also, I couldn't figure out how to remove a picture I added to an item without replacing it with another picture (I wanted to go back to default), so I just had to delete the item and start over. Not the end of the world. Lastly, integration with Alexa for adding items to my shopping list would be really helpful. Overall though, really, really, really fantastic. Thanks you!

This is the only app I found that actually finds most of the foods I scan. My only requests so far would be: prompt me to take a photo when adding a new item instead of going straight to the next item to be scanned if there isn't one in the database, reduce the spaces between lines in edit mode so you don't have to scroll to save, and change the expiry date scrolling-it is really hard to get it to stop on the right date, it keeps moving.

Almost perfect. I would like it better if there was a home screen widget for the shopping list, if it automatically categorized items when you add them, as well as well as choosing days until expiration instead of an exact date, and if it automatically restocked to the appropriate list when you select items that came from multiple lists, as opposed to having to select a list for all selected items to go to.

I really like the app but there is one snag, any item I add to the list if it is at the bottom changing the quantity I have is really hard and when it is on shopping list mode it isn't visible due to the total cost bar (which I like having). As a side note it'd also be good if you could put a smaller amount than one in stock that isn't zero (ie half or a quarter of a pack). Thanks!

Terrible! No setup instructions so you fumble your way. Then no way to delete errors you made. No way to add inventory amounts. And nowhere to reach out for assistance. I give up. UPDATE: I gave it another go and finally figured out you add inventory by going shopping and shopping that you've bought stuff for the category. But it's definitely not intuitive as there should be a "starting" spot. I'm still really upset that I can't delete things like groups, categories, etc.

Simply put, it's a great app and what I have been looking for to replace my previous one. Access via the web makes setup easier and sharing/synchronizing with others in the house is great. Not a very steep learning curve to get started either. I highly recommend this along with the purchase to support further development and remove the ads!

After some testing I actually understood your software. And it seems rather nice and it is a good price. For the functionality of having order of ones pantry and kitchen, ease of use, price performance, web interface (I use it from a commuter) and a "free mode with adds". I will give it 5 out of 5 stars. Your software is better than the tutorial shows and it is so simple to use, when you first learn it. The slide right function on an item to either add to a list or to shop is fantastic. The slide left and delete the item is terrifying dangerous. - It is too easy to delete an item. Could this anyway be changed eg in settings? My thought could be a user setting so any user can decide what happens. Personally I would slide right to shop and slide left to add to a list.

Items randomly disappear and then appear later if you tap around enough. I was able to continuously reproduce the error. Sometimes I'd scan a can of corn, enter all the details and the quantity would be zero. The item would never show up on the list screen where you edit quantity and on the item view it would be there, again sometimes. Also what happens when some of your items have different expiration date than others of the same type?

it has a lot of potential, a prepopulated database would be nice, but not a complete deal breaker. For me I think adding weight and initial/current number of items in the item edit screen would be my top because the scanner comes right back up after saving an item and have to exit to add them (I currently add weight via tags). adding those would earn a 4th star and database would earn the 5th star. Also the expiration wheels are a bit "loose" in their determining which value to land on.

EDIT: Amazing app! It was glitchy at one point but is working again, so I think it was just my phone. I love the ability to add photos for each item, and being able to quickly hit the + or - button for quantities instead of entering the number (the reasom I use it over other pantry apps) Only thing I'd request is the ability to use custom colors for tags and categories. That would really make it perfect 💛

It looks promising and I watched the tutorial more than once. I made a list for my chest freezer and try to add the new item/word brisket. But after I type in the word I can't figure out how to actually add it to the list. :( the tutorial to add items should actually say how to add them and not just type it in the search bar.. because then what?? I tried just adding it to the main section you are set up with but that didn't work either. Three stars because I'm hopeful. Uninstalled it.

Overall, I really like the set-up of this app! There are two things I wish/hope could be changed in updates: First, I would like it if capital letters could be saved on items beyond just the first letter. The second thing is that it'd be so very cool to have a "color picker" for category colors. I've used one in another pantry/shopping list app and really appreciate the versitilty of it (but FYI, I like the overall design of this app more 👍).

A great app for all your pantry needs in your household. The best among all I have tested. The only thing missing is a possibility to manage expiration dates for multiple items of the same product. Just a sublist to add some tags (like 'open') and an expiration date to each items would be amazing! If interested, I can provide a German translation.

This is one of the better pantry inventory apps out there. However, to make it really stand out, they need to add an easier way to take items out of inventory. Since they already have a bar scanner, it would be helpful if you could scan things to remove from inventory. I also wish it would bring up the item scanned before adding it to the inventory if it is a duplicate. As of now it just adds one to the count. As I said before, this is the best app that I have found for inventory.

Super frustrating. I was hopeful when I saw it had a barcode scanner, but all it does is literally enter the barcode number. It doesn't connect to a database that will populate other fields, not even the name. Once you enter an item, there doesn't seem to be any way to edit the item, the only options given is to add it to your shopping list. The only action you can take with an item once it is entered is add it to a shopping list. I tried to enter an item I had entered into a different category by doing the 'search' function in the category but even though it was the only item with that name it didn't show up. So, to sum up: no way to edit an item once entered, no way to easily update the number of an entered item in a category, no way to easily add an item to different categories, barcode scanner does not connect to a database to auto-populate fields. Waste of time.

I was trying this out and it's a bit of a learning curve, but I entered a lot of items, created lists and several categories. It really seemed that this might be a very useful app despite its quirks. Then today I opened the app and... It's all gone. Every list, every category, every item. So all that time was wasted. What a useless app.

So far so good. I enjoy the layout, simplicity and effectiveness. I only give 4 stars because though pantrify is delightfully convenient it still hasnt reached its full potential. Suggestions: Add ml to the unit category. Add "where to buy", "isle" Add icon to show quantity instock instead of a whole amount e.g. a bottle that indicates 1, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4. Add the barcode and the option to upload our own photo to a database for others to use or use the photos others have taken for the item we are adding. You may want to add a filter once enough photos have been added of an item where the most commonly used photos (1-3 options) are used of the chosen item, unless user takes their own. If these were included i would happily pay for the app if it became a paid app which i do predict happening in the near future. Such good things dont come free. Thankyou kindly for the time and effort youve put into this app.

I am furious. Today, I spent the money to get rid of ads, and my children and I sat down and re-inventoried our pantry. A short time later, all of the numbers are WRONG in this app. The numbers for various items just keep changing. I have changed the numbers for some items, saw that the change took effect on both our phones, and literally, within minutes, the numbers are different. This app is garbage. It has potential, but this is a "you had ONE JOB" kind of moment. Literally all I needed it to do was keep an accurate count, and it DOESN'T DO THAT. This app is worse than useless because any time spent using it is wasted when it changes everything.

I love this app. It is simple and minimal. having inventory, shopping list, and restocking system. That was all I wanted. Other apps have other annoying features that make it complicated, so I am pretty happy that I found this. Im telling everyone about this app. I struggled figuring out how to add the number of items when I create my inventory first time, so did wrong way(put them in the shopping trolly and restock it). So it would be better if there is a brief explanation about how to use.

Least friendly app I've ever used. No intructions, and doesn't display properly on my phone (Moto E5 Play). Pressing random areas of my screen brought up pop-up menus, but even those didn't display properly. Scanned a barcode but still had to enter all details for the item, and after switching screens within the app a few times even that item stopped displaying as text - just had a line where it had been.

I wanted to like this app because I really need it, but this app is very frustrating. it has potential but I do not want to spend time typing in the names of the items even though I've barcode scanned them. I have been in a ton of everyday typical brand name pantry items but nothing comes up. It only ever pulls up the UPC number and then I have to type in everything else. In case you're wondering what types of everyday items i'm referring to; lipton tea, Hunt's can items, Dole can items, etc.

Seems pretty good, except you cannot type in dates. Instead, you get this weird laggy wheel-like interface where you have to scroll up and down forever, making it basically unusable in practice, unless time is limitless and you don't get frustrated easily. Or have arthritis.
