Both the app and online website frequently will not allow me to select cash as a payment option. Like, my order last week I could and this week I couldn't. This has happened numerous times throughout the years. It's incredibly annoying. Edit: I asked the store on the off chance they would know why, and it turns out that the store is the reason for it. They have the ability to disable/enable cash payments. Still annoying that I can't place an online order for in-store pickup when paying with 💰
So I had a review on here, but it somehow was removed. The app doesn't have an option to change your default address, and it often swaps to the default address while navigating an order. This actually caused me to place an order in a state I don't even live in anymore and I've gotten no word from anyone about a refund. It's disappointing honestly. Update: one month later, issues still aren't resolved, and now the app doesn't even show stores properly.
I like the app better now that it was improved on some time back but it still has a shortcoming! It lacks the opportunity to tell the store any special needs or requirements that the customer might have. I personally am plagued by pizza's with the wrong crust type! My family and I like the original crust and we 9 times out of ten get thin crusted pizza! I am tired of complaining to the company to make it right! A little box where the customer could send a message would be fantastic.
Useless app, Useless website! I've tried a dozen different times over the course of the day to order a pizza, and every time I try, the order gets stuck in a loop! Multiple devices, multiple browsers, no matter what, it wont let me order food! I'm going to Dominos. At least their app works.
Apparently 1.97 miles is beyond the delivery radius for my local stote. Also, the app keeps switching me from delivery to carryout if I'm not VERY diligent about switching it back every single time. And it doesn't alert me to the change. I feel like this is on the borderline of fraud. They know you were looking for delivery, change it without your consent, and allow your order to go through. You're picking up now! Enjoy your walk, sucker!!
Trying to order, just getting a half loaded Pop up everytime I add to cart. Imposes itself over the rest of the app as a vertical bar with no text, not letting me do anything else but close the app. Was hoping for a simple bug report thing but this is all I see. Tried a few workarounds but anything with adding to cart hits that block
The restaurant seems to do bare minimum. Paid for additional items are missed frequently and no extra mile taken to correct. The app is good but I agree with previous comments about the placement of the tip. Move it up and don't prompt the pay option without opting out of tipping.
When I place delivery orders with the correct address, the order is sent to the store I used to order from a year ago at my old address. They keep calling me and canceling my orders with a refund, but I still can't get the order to go to the correct store. I checked the app and deleted all old addresses. It still happened after the only address is my current one. Make it so we can select the store the delivery needs to come from. I want to confirm which store it's coming from before I order.
The app works great. It's very easy to use. But the last two times it sent my delivery order to the wrong store. The first time I had to go out of my way to pick up my order. There second time I had to call them to cancel and then call muy store to place my order again. Until they fix this issue, I'm giving it a one star.
The items that was available as a side was not available for special deal (pick 2). I tried to see other stores and my store was not set as my store. I even couldn't change a store. So I went online to chat, but time they wait for customer to type responses were short so I automatically got response that I didn't respond so it ended. If you order same thing, good app. If u order special deal like me, NEVER USE THIS APP. Call or go Online.
Why do I suddenly need to produce a reciept to collect my points? I always order on the app so everything should be recorded there. You're just trying to create another barrier to get out of what you've advertised; this is incredibly dishonest. I'm never shopping from these establishments again.
Would rate zero if possible the software is cheap it barely registers you clicking on it at any time when you try and order something plus half the addresses do not even pop up on the map I would rate it -5 Stars if I could fix your app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!
Makes ordering super easy and quick. You can look at previous orders and simply reorder things you've enjoyed in the past, or add custom pizzas as favorites so you don't have to remember what all everyone likes.
This app use to be amazing. But recently tried to make a delivery order. Twice it 'declined' my card but didn't place the order. I had to go through Papa John's and Cash App's contact support. Both were useless. I have to wait 6 to 12 days for two refunds now. Now I'm hungry and pissed-off! Did they offer a coupon or anything to reimburse me? No, just told me to try fix with my 'bank'.
I only have two problems with the app, one you can't change from delivery to carryout on the check out screen, and two when trying to enter a promo code it's too easy to hit pay now button and you can cancel the order on the app
Could Be Better! I always find it difficult to tell whether I even HAVE 'Papa Dough' or not, or WHEN I can use it. You really have to dig to find your rewards. It's as if Papa John's wants you to overlook your points so that they expire before you can use them! This app is super annoying!
Very easy to use and navigate options. Can clearly find reward points unlike competitors I've used. Simple options and graphics that don't distract and are easy to read with no harsh contrast.
Last several times I've tried to order from your app, it doesn't load. So slow, won't refresh. Don't have this problem with Domino's or Uber Eats. Sad that you are losing business because the app is not functioning.... You need a new app person/company! So many bad reviews based solely on the poor app..... Good luck! Normally really like your pizza.
Doesn't allow me to save my home address; I have to enter it in everytime I order. Will not add any of our saved favorites to the cart even though I select YES to do so. I'm deleting this app and going back to the browser. Does anyone test these things? 04/22/22 After almost two years and you still have not fixed this very simple problem. I will not submit same problem to you on your website. Fix it!
Makes ordering pizz6 quite easy. I do have to remember to check the delivery address because when I open the app, it automatically uses GPS to come up with the address of my mobile home park, but doesn't include the lot number.
Ive tried several times to sign up for the points but it won't accept my email or a password. So 1 star until...??? Update. We got the points to work and that's great but now it just comes down to employees reading the order right. Upgraded to 3 stars.
This app is excellent and the company has overall improved in many ways over the last few years. I never used to eat here, now I prefer it. Points are quickly collected for discounts and if you check your email regularly, there's usually a good coupon code for the week/day. Using coupons can be a little confusing, like the Tuesday coupons for half off. You have to add the code again and again for each item you want to add.
