Papa Pear Saga

Too challenging where it's not fun. Could be a great game that I really like but it's harder than it should be at lower levels. Each level I had to try multiple times just to barely finish that level scraping by with a 1star. Or maybe I'm just too dumb to figure out how to bounce a ball lol. Anyway, game is stingy on giving you power ups. I got to spin the wheel for a free power up only 3 times in 8 days of daily play. On the positive, it's nice graphics and no ads. Overall I was disappointed.

It's fun for a short amount of time, but then the negative aspects take over: • It constantly tries to sell you stuff • The 'helpful' advice on the loadingscreen is obvious and repetitive • The Challenges are riddled with bugs: As an example it repeatedly started me of with 5 Papas on a 'color the buckets' level, where two of the buckets are covered by lids, making it impossible to complete. And because its a Challenge level and the third at that I have to restart the whole challenge.

I used to love this game, & have played every level, but in going back to master the levels, have noticed that the game is a lot more random than skill-based. You can shoot the ball from the exact same place and it will go in different directions, even if it's not hitting anything different. It's like they've factored in a randomness, and sometimes, just when you're about to win, your papa pear will go straight through an obstacle without changing direction at all. You feel cheated. Not fair.

Fun, entertaining game. Great time passer and challenging enough to keep you interested. I would rate higher, but there is basically no opportunity to obtain power ups without gold bars that cost $$. There should be a daily spin wheel, quest/task list that awards you with power ups or gold, or some other things to do that promote accumulation of boosters that assist the player. Once you're out of power ups, purchase them or play the game without. Not a ton to do besides reg levels.

The actual gameplay is decent. a good mix of challenging and easier levels. But theres a random "days played" counter that doesn't offer any rewards even though I receive at least 4 push notifications a day warning that my streak is going to end even though I've already played that day. There's also a random prize wheel that just appears every now and then with no regularity. it just feels like the developers forgot about this game.

It's an entertaining and addictive game, but it has some major cons. You only get 5 lives and you have to wait a certain amount of time before they regenerate, even though this game is clearly designed to make you constantly fail and replay levels. 5 lives is not enough, a game like this shouldn't even be using the "lives" format, it just ruins the experience and makes me stop playing since I have no more lives. This game is all about luck, not skill, which is extremely annoying and lazy.

Its always challenging to figure out how to defeat a level. The only levels I really dont enjoy are the ones where there are chains over the buckets and you have to hit a matching color "face" thing to open it and the "face" changes color and changes which bucket it opens.That one is too confusing trying to figure out the pattern without wasting pears to shoot.

I love this game I've played it for years in n out through the years actually. And its still all the same. I would at least expect you guys to update it, add new things like winning prices or gold bricks. And another thing it keeps freezing on me and it so annoying I've been replaying the same level over and over.

I have dealt with this issue for over a year now. I kept hoping it would fix itself on its own. But this game will not connect to the internet. Every game I play connects to the internet. I have reinstalled this game numerous times to see if I can make it get out of whatever it's hung up on. But I'll see the connection try to start, and it will just pop and then go off again. It keeps telling me there's a connection area. It won't even let me connect through Facebook either. So frustrating.

Lost all my progress after playing for years!! Was unable to continue with FB, just get a message saying connection error try again later. Couldn't upgrade so uninstall and reinstalled....same thing happens. Grr From 5* to 0*

I'm getting to the point where I have to make perfect or very lucky shots to win levels if I don't want to pay to make it easier. Don't get me wrong, I liked this app and played for a long time, but sadly there is always a paywall at some point.

Fun if you can stand a few things, just know that if you have to get three stars there are some levels you'll be forced to use power-ups on or play the same level a hundred times over to get lucky. Some levels are designed poorly or too hard to purposely get you to spend money on power ups. The challenge levels are also bogus, one level wanted me to get 3 blue orbs clear but they only put two on the board. This game can be fun again they really want you to spend money if you want three stars

Its a super fun game, but as many others have said, I got stuck, and after many tries, I gave up. There should be some incentive to play, daily boosters would help, otherwise there is no point because I know the levels will only get harder, and I'm not spending money to beat levels. Once in a while maybe, but not for every level.. That's just not fun to me.

we need some new levels,the level generator at the end should randomize a different level every time you select it,but it only generates the same number level if you dont pass the level for the second time,seems as if the developers forgot about this game to concentrate on new games,stop neglecting this game and make new levels!!

Needs events or something to make power ups easier to get Some levels are damn near impossible without them and the gold is expensive af. ** love the game overall! Have been playing for a long time! I've made it past over 300 levels but this entire time it's kind of been a lackluster game compared to some of 'your' others

Game starts out very easy & progressively gets more difficult. Can get extremely frustrating when unable to pass a difficult level, a youtube search on how to beat a particular level can be helpful. Seems like they make some levels short of impossible in order to force you to buy boosters in order to pass.

Rediscovered this game, having played it in the past, I should be able to pick up where I left off, but the game can't connect to the internet, this seems to be a major issue with lots of other players. I can connect to the internet and my account with other King games, vwhy not this one?

I love this game. I only have one negative thing about it and it's really annoying. Several times I have played and won with extra moves left still and you take the moves away but then tell me I have have failed because I didn;t have enough points. A few times I could of gotten those points if you hadn't 'took them away. So other than that it's a great game.Very challenging

I really like this game but there's no way to increase gold bars without spending money, which I will not do. Also, when there's a 2 part level it doesn't give you the opportunity to increase points when you're done fulfilling the task. Otherwise it's a pretty challenging game which I like

Uninstalling!!! Several times, I have completed the levels, but because I used all my ammo, it did not count!!! Even the buckets celebrated my win, only to have a papa appear and tell me "level failed" because I ran out of papas!!! It's not like you award extra points for the leftover papas in the challenges! All the King games pull this underhanded B.S. and I'm done with it. I'm uninstalling Candy Crush, too, for even more reasons. Never downloading another King game again!

love the game but super disappointed with the last update. I can't exit the game when I'm done playing and i made it to level 500 and it looks like I'm supposed to get a chest full of power ups didn't get that and every time I turn on the game it tells me there is a new challenge but there is no challenge. I really wish I hadn't updated! 🙄🙄

Simple and fun,but there are some REALLY hard levels that can take even days to beat,such a simple and long game shouldn't have such hard levels. There should be an option to skip levels for free if,for example,you fail to beat it in 10 - 15 lives or maybe even less.

Had this about 3 years. Still one of my favorite games to pass time. Never had any glitches and doesn't drain battery. Gameplay is exciting, yet relaxing. Some ads pop up, but not many and not intrusive... i respect some ads on a free game and apreciate that they are not annoying.

I have been trying to get a hold of the customer support through the game developer and I have YET to get a reply!! I spent 1.99 and never received my gold bars. Restarted the game and all. That was when I first emailed them i let it slide since it was only 1.99 but now I bought 5.99 worth of gold bars. I got them but went to buy the parachute power up and it never showed up but now I have 42 gold bars! I want a refund for the money I have wasted!

One of my favorite King games! I can always depend on a well developed experience! PP is easy-to-use, but is challenging! The only thing I would like is to be rewarded more such as a side game or challenge to get more gold bars.

I have been playing this game for several years and have reached the final level a few times without ever purchasing anything. Some levels took dozens of attempts but none are impossible. Great game and you don't have to be online and no ad interruptions.

I had made a purchase for gold bars and their game glitched when I went to use them. I emailed customer support, and although they were prompt they wouldn't help me. Saying I used the gold bars to make 2 purchases of powerups and saying I used the power ups, pretty much calling me a liar. Uninstalled. If I could rate 0 starts I would. Seriously. Been playing this game for years and used to enjoy it, but once they implied I'm a liar, no thanks!

I have really enjoyed the game until now. I realise that it is supposed to get more difficult as the game goes along but I have been on this level for a week. There is nothing enjoyable about playing the same level over and over for that long. There is no skill just luck on this one. Guess I not lucky. Guess will delete. Don't want to play that level anymore. Its gotten boring.

edit: anyone's game crashing? will NOT LOAD 😥 Love the game!!! it's very addicting!! ... but only giving 3 stars because i feel like i don't have the same advantage as other players there's spinny wheel to earn power ups, during certain hours of the day, and I don't have that wheel, so i never have the chance to earn power ups besides in a challenge.I've emailed King about this problem, twice, and still no response, and still no spinny wheel :(
