Papaya: Pay Any Bill

Input fields are not tall enough to see all characters. When asked for what I thought was my billing address, the provider's billing address was listed as a suggested address. I'm confused and not even sure if I processed a payment. The confirmation email came quickly but makes multiple references to processing my BILL. I thought I was processing a PAYMENT. Finally, this review area doesn't automatically capitalize the first word of each of my sentences. It's my obsession.

Waste of time. It doesn't let me enter my actual billing address because it looks up addresses and it doesn't think my mailing address exists. It made me take a picture of my credit card three times. I pray my bill actually gets paid after reading other's reviews. I don't like saving my debit card information anywhere. Not happy that it doesn't allow me to pay by e-check and I'm only able to mail a check. Checks are still used to pay bills most places so I don't understand why this app doesn't.

This takes forever. My doctor's bill said this took Google pay, but nothing would auto fill. It lost the picture it initially took to start the process and then would only let me take another one of I allowed full camera access. I also had to enter my date of birth which I'm really not comfortable doing and it asked for the amount to pay, after pulling all the information from the picture. At least it's free. The other option my doctor's office gave was $3.99, on a $7 bill.

The worst app I have ever used for payments. It took forever to verify my bank account ( and multiple extra steps on my part to do so) and the help team took two weeks to reply to my concerns. This app is supposed to be convenient but it is the exact opposite.

ACTUAL user. Do not use this app unless you are comfortable with late charges and creditors calling you. Do not just rely on the good reviews but see the pattern in the bad ones. Not all bills are payed the same day. Some will take up to 10 to 12 business days (happened to me twice). When it finally post it's in the form of a check (not mine) from a bank(not mine)with my signature on it (also not mine). My advice use a different app or just pay the bill yourself and save the aggravation.

Papaya did end up responding a day or two after following the instructions to reference my review on here. Basically I was asking after a lot of information explaining in more detail what can and cannot be paid, how places that don't accept credit cards work, and so on. They gave me an in-depth reply that answered everything, which was good. I do wish they'd add more of this info to their website for transparency sake. --- I did use it to pay a bill and it went smoothly as expected.

This is such a cool app and works really well! I use it to pay all of my medical bills. One of the great things about it is that it barely requires any personally identifiable information in order to use it, which is great given the sensitivity of medical bills. In fact, the only information necessary is an email address and payment method. Love it!

I liked the app in general . The issue is it captures the bill, but doesn't extract any information from that, and asks all the information currently on the bill. at least can analyze, extract , display and get confirmation .

my legal name has an apostrophe in it but I was unable to put the apostrophe because the app did not recognize it as valid even tho it is my legal name. the text was also cut off when I was inputting the info. could be better

The app requires you to save card information, as well as to provide DOB. Way too much NPI to keep on one phone app. I don't trust this thing.

Excellent payment app. Easy and intuitive. Note: you have an option to delete a payment method after making a payment

This so is so easy to use and so convenient I love it. Saves me time and my bill gets paid right away. I'm notified when it's paid too. Awesome!!

I am not sure why more people don't use this app. It's free and I have never had an issue. There is a problem with the text not fitting in the required boxes, but that is a minor inconvenience.

It won't let me update the payment method or even cancel a bill. It keeps saying error. This is what the company demands you to use and it's worthless right now.

The app does not recognize my phone settings (visually impaired) so it is very difficult for me to read the values I entered.

it was really easy to use. quick and simple. the only reason I only put 4 stars is because I wish I was able to do this online instead of having to download an app. but other than that it was super easy.

While the app correctly captured the billing info, I do not like allowing open access to my phone's files or camera. I would prefer to manually enter the account number and payee. Nowhere could I find where that option was available.

I'm not happy about saving my credit card information on any electronic device. If it's only saved temporarily then perhaps the app should say "temporarily saving your credit card information for this transaction and will delete upon completion"! That would be better!!

This app has worked pretty well for me until the recent update. Now when I add an account number for a bill, it forces the number into telephone number format. This not only doesn't match what the hospital and the field description say, it doesn't even have enough digits to hold the whole account number.

Very easy to use, simple user interface. Does most work by itself, I didn't have to put in the doctor's address, the app scanned successfully. it has been convenient, so I like it

annoying that I had to download an app but it did work very well and the bill scanning feature made it really easy and saved a ton of time. I'm surprised and impressed actually.

Weird that my doctor's office would use this app for payments without a fully functional website to pay through. Positive the app was very fast and I didn't need to create another uselss user name and password that I would only use once. Negative now I have another app on my phone. I would appreciate Papaya to have an online portal to pay. Not sure if an older generation that have a lot of medical bills would be able to navigate this app.

Forced to download to pay on mobile. Camera should be moved to QR code. Functions like an introduction to app design class project. Seems like a poor excuse to gather data

I paid 2 surgery bills using this app. I thought both times everything was fine because we reviews were mainly 5 starts and everyone seemed to like the app. I thought at first my bills genuinely got paid but I just received 1 bill with my payment not on there and another just hit collections out of no where. THIS APP IS A SCAM AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK

It is not a viable option for paying bills in a timely manner. The app is glitchy. When I first got it, it worked fine. But after paying several bills, I am not able to see any of my bill history or do anything else with the app.

Doesn't actually pay your bill. I'm furious I have great credit and my doctor's office directed me to this service and they never actually paid my bill even though they said they did. I didn't realize that it wasn't paid until I was sent to collections could not be more annoyed. This is an absolute fraud.

not bad. feels a but sketchy but my doctor uses it so yes. good. did find the forms hard to fill in due to font size

I originally gave them 5 stars but they are now getting 1 star. I paid some medical bills yesterday and they waited over 24 hours to tell me that they couldn't pay it because they didn't have enough information. I will be paying using the bill payers online account. That is ridiculous you either have enough information or you don't! Uninstall! 😡

This app sucks I tried using it took a picture of the bill after a week still processing you guys should make sure your app works now my payment late I'm deleting this app.

I switched phones and had to reenter all my info! Lost all my stuff for tax purposes. other than that it would be 5 stars
