Paper Camera

Used to be my favorite art effect app now it doesn't even work correctly. When I go to press buttons then it presses the wrong buttons it's like it hasn't been updated for newer phones. Very sad because man no app quite does the art filters like this one. Worst part is I paid for this app to unlock its full potential or to get rid of ads I can't remember it's been so long I'm just sad to see it's been abandoned.

I used to love this app, but now it just doesn't work anymore: buttons don't always work, can't import photos from gallery, video doesn't work anymore. Such a waste, cause when it was functioning correctly I really really loved it, great effects, no ads. It would be a shame not to fix the issues...

This app is so cool . you can really do alot of fun things with it. It encourages you with an easy format , many options to choose from. You never run out of ideas! Also, that would go without mentioning ; as you will see, it kills boredom!!!! I reinstalled it in my new phone, not a problem!! All stars.🇺🇸

Great filters. Inconsistent results. First impression is that it has Simple user-friendly interface. But when you switch between camera and video camera sometimes you get the title of the filter sometimes you don't and sometimes when you take the pictures the filters are applied and sometimes they're not.

App works as expected however this review is more about the fact that the app disappeared without notice from the store for a few months, with no way for paying customers to have access to it ( unless of course they had it already installed and didn't have to factory reset their devices). This is not the only app that went missing from the play store. Many apps from different devs never returned. So buyer beware ( for this and other apps) if you buy an app you may lose access to it, and money lost as well. Cheers

Don't let the cartoon - like icons fool you this camera is good at giving you a different view of your world! Although, I would have liked a quick guide to what the icons do, there are few enough so several seconds is enough to find out. (Admittedly, the curled arrow had me going until I changed some sliders.)

Great Cartoon Camera with many options! I originally got this on my iPhone years ago and still use to this day! Works flawlessly on my S8 & S10. If you want to record pics or videos that look like a pro cartoon or sketch or all kinds of different fun cool looks then get Paper Camera. It's one of the original cartoon camera apps with many years of high reviews because it simply is awesome! I hope it sticks around for countless years to come!

Would be so cool but it saves the photos in VERY low quality. It also doesn't let you rotate view and the user interface is one of the worst I've seen in any app I've ever used. It's so unfortunate because the filters are pretty cool but the app itself is too frustrating to use.

I have an Xperia 1 II and it seems because of the 21:9 aspect, that the UI doesn't work properly on this phone. It's not just a case of having black borders on the left and right, but also the positioning of the options don't line up.

GREAAAAAAT, is back!! Best cartoon filter App EVER. Pretty unique filters, works very well on Android 9, and have never had any issues with it. I use it for the first time 10 year ago, Android 4, no problems at all. Keep it up, don't change the filters, but add some new.

I am having such a great time with this app. It has me feeling creative and inspired. It's very easy to use, has amazing effects and options, and has great results. It's free of ads or intrusive pop ups. I really enjoy the paper camera. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Had forgotten about this. Downloaded and made 2 of the best family photos we ever made and will print and frame them. I don't know if the devs will keep updating this app so as to run with new versions of android but this app should always remain in the app store. As we greeks say: "ΤΙΜΗS ΕΝΕΚΕΝ" just because it set standards on how to transform photos into sketches. (By the way works fine for me, Android 11, One Ui 3.0)

The only reason this app doesn't get 5 stars is that it was last updated in February of 2016. New, higher resolution phones will misalign the screen icons for changing filters, settings & even the shutter release. This would be an outstanding & fun addition to Android cameras of today - just update it....please.

Really great app. Ive been using this app for the past 3 or 4 phones. I love playing around with the filter for profile pics lol but it doesnt seem to wor too well on my newest phone. Idk if it's the phone or the new Android version, but the app's U.I. isnt functioning properly & I dont have access to all of the app's features. Im gonna have to uninstall for now, please fix

Why does it need mic permissions to start the app up? I gave it every other permission it asked for, but it refused to start up without mic priveleges?? I can understand bugging me if I try to open the video feature, but I have no interest in using that. I just wanted to take pictures with it, and I don't feel like allowing unnecessary permissions.

My problem is that it doesn't record videos at all, I tried a lot. It captures only the photos. Can you fix this problem? Otherwise the app is working great with cool effects!

Totally worth it. I didn't expected how detailed it is. THE DETAILS ARE JUST CRAZY! It doesn't have any proplems with the lights, shadows and I could even rate more stars if I could. Best photography app I've ever seen!

Such a cool program. Anyone looking for a funky twist in digital photography will love this app. Even allows for adjustments based on light that is flowing in on subjects.

unique, intriguing. like it. just make it more stable. switch between camera and video mode is a hit and miss. resolve that and this will be a gem.

It use to be the perfect paper camera at first now it needs a huge update, camera button doesnt work and there is no way to access the menu and other buttons, will change review if fixed.

On screen controls don't line up with where you have to touch to access them. Makes for a lot of misfires! Used to be amazing. Please fix it! Thanks.

Audio in terrible need of improvement. It's choppy and speeds towards the end of the vid upon playback. Will change to 5 stars if & when it gets fixed.

Pretty awesome! Love the filters but a lot of them are so similar its almost a replica. And some are too dark but i like that they are live filters!! Thats always a plus!!

This is one of the most fantastic editing apps on the entire Play store. I purchased it back in 2014 and have just rediscovered it and using on a new device.

I love this app, but I recently got a new phone. Motorola Fusion+ and it doesn't work in this phone as it used to in my old phone. I cannot change the filters, I can't access settings nor to my gallery. Can you please help me?

doesn't seem to work properly on Moto One vision. on screen buttons and active areas don't match, I have to click alongside. pity.

This is my number one photo filter app of all time. It's one of the two or three apps I download without fail to every new device I acquire. I can't claim that it will be everyone's cup of tea, but it sure is mine :)
